We will buy your gear, or take it in hand on consignment. We do trade ins; We do guitar and Bass setups.

History

Established in 1983.

We started out trading equipment for our band, looking to trade some instruments for some recording gear to start a recording setup. This endeavor grew into what today is a full line music store carrying new and used rock and roll gear. We are authorized dealers for Roland, Dave Smith, Moog, Elektron, Nektar, Rode, MXR, Electro Harmonix, Studio Electronics, Mooer, Access, Akai, AKG, Critter & Guitari, MOTU, Pioneer, and more. We have one of the largest inventories of used gear in the world, with a specialty on analog gear.

Business Owner

Keyboard player who started this business by trading some band equipment for recording equipment for our studio. The endeavor has grown into a business that has sold over $ 100 million in used gear since we started. in 1983. Dick started a band in the early 1980’s named Rogue, an outgrowth of local NY legendary band, Elephant’s Memory. They were John Lennon’s backup band when he moved to NY. After the band, disbanded, Dick spent most of his time growing the store, but went back to performing and song writing in the early 90’s and still is an active musician in the NY area.
