Well when this place was actually open I went here with my wife & we had a great experience. The food was great the service was great and the décor was amazing. The only problem was that this place was so expensive that i couldn’t afford to go back. My meal was like $ 250 for me & my wife’s 3 course meals along with a bottle of wine and that’s after my discount with living social. So with being said we never came back so I’m guessing this is why they are closed

Here with a Bloomspot voucher. The menu is slightly smaller but still very good. Our server Dan was extremely attentive and courteous and was a pleasure to have around. Drinks: First we ordered the Strawberry Mojito and the Lady Killer. The Lady Killer was great but the Mojito was bland and tasteless so we had it swapped for an Avion Experience which Dan recommended. It was much better. Starter: We had the Caesar Salad and the RSVP Chopped Salad and the Caesar was superior while the Chopped was a bit soggy and the dressing was a bit bland. Appetizer: The Rock Shrimp tempura was just awesome! Sadly my girl is allergic so she had the Beef Tartare Tacos which was also really good if you like raw beef. Main: I had the Chicken Bruschetta which I really enjoyed but my girl didnt like the charred taste of the chicken. She had Ahi Tuna which was a bit slim on the portions but very fresh and came with 3 sipping sauces. Overall we had a great experience. Great staff and quality food. Portions were mostly very generous and our server made sure our visit was extremely enjoyable.

I hate to jack a fellow Unilocaler’s idea, but I agree 100% with Ryan F: Service — 5 Décor — 4 Food/Price Ratio — 3 I came here on Friday with a friend of mine; using a GILT(what? she used a GILT and complained about the price? Only because if I had the menu I had at full price, I woulda been pissed) The service was fantastic. Our waiter was attentive and very nice; the maitre’d had some serious attention to detail. I liked the layout of the restaurant and bar… the food — was alright. I ordered a chopped salad that had some balls to it — it wasn’t tiny, the beef carpaccio tacos and ahi seared tuna. Shining star, was by far, the tuna. It was served with 3 different dipping sauces and perfectly prepared. The beef carpaccio? Reminiscent of an ice cream scoop of hamburger meat in a shot glass. Yes — I know its raw, but yes, the preparation and beef quality is key. All in all, the food was good — but the portions were TINY. I could have put down a couple slices of pizza after, and if I’d paid what the menu called for, I probably would have been annoyed… especially since I can get the same quality meal for less money on the island. don’t forget though — the service was fantastic, and they did a really good job. They are young, only been open about 8 months, so I assume they have some growing pains to get past.

I stopped by as part of a group of 12 with a reservation around 6PM on a weekday. The venue is pretty nice and works well for groups of various sizes. We split a handful of dishes, including the rock shrimp tempura(a bit small), the foie gras dumplings(not too bad), the flat breads(pretty good, wasn’t too crispy), the lamb(pretty nice but a bit too charred), and the lobster ravioli(pretty nice). For sides, we had the mac and cheese, sauteed spinach, and truffle fries, all of which were pretty good. The food quality was not bad on the whole, but it’s pretty pricey and fairly small portion size. Not a place I would avoid coming back to, but there are better value places for drinks and decent food, in spite of the nice venue.

We stopped by with a deal from Gilt city, we came by on a Friday after work had reservation but looks like we didn’t need them since it was not packed, by the time we left there were certainly more people there sitting down as well as at the bar. Nice place dimly lit, decent size small bar area. we were seated in the middle section. Since we had a special offer we had to order from a smaller menu, not a big deal since it had some decent choices. We started w the Prosecco sparkling wine, nice taste them later on tried the Strawberry Mojito, this taste pretty good not so sure it had a lot of alcohol tho. For Starters I had the(1) RSVP Chopped Salad organic house blend greens, red & yellow tomatoes, chic peas, roasted peppers, crumbled blue cheese, cucumbers, strawberry champagne vinaigrette good salad decent size the dressing totally made the salad my friend went with the(2) Caesar Salad minus the parm cone, this was good. Next the(3) Rock shrimp tempura, yummy this was really good great taste the(4) Hamachi Crudo thinly sliced yellowtail, cucumber, jalapeño, mint, micro wasabi, topped with yuzu citrus vinaigrette I gotta say this was better than I expected good taste. For my main course I choose the(5) Organic Farm Raised Chicken Paillard pounded chicken breast, grilled and topped with baby arugula salad, tomato, onion bruschetta, balsamic vinaigrette very niece piece of chicken, nice juice taste. My friend went with the(6) sesame seared ahi tuna medallions served with a trio of dipping sauces sweet soy ginger — wasabi aioli — cilantro lime… this was great, It certainly took me by surprised because it has such a nice taste, specially when dipping it in the soy ginger & cilantro lime. The place itself was good, nice service through out our meal. Since we had the deal we didn’t need to pay for much expect the cocktails, prices for the most part are a bit high the cocktail was good but not worth $ 16 dollars each, but oh well. Either way we had an enjoyable meal & I would wouldn’t say no to coming back another time.

This place offers quite a selection of fancy but still down-to-earth options. The french toast box is a comfort food staple from childhood all grown up. The crunchy outer layer covered in nuts and powdered sugar pairs impeccably with the creamy marscapone filling. Seriously, it’s so friggin good I just can’t stand it. And it’s so friggin huge you can probably share it with a friend. The truffle mac is just plain tasty. And the foie gras dumplings were surprisingly good though they seem a bit overpriced. Even the quiche(which I’m not always a fan of, too luch custard turns me off) was impressive. I mean let’s face it, puff pastry makes EVERYTHING better. On top of the great food, the ambience and service are really top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant but be prepared to shell out for the tasty eats!

I’ve come here at 3 different occasions, and here is what I concluded: 1. This place does typical American food well. Go for the Mac&Cheese, burgers, etc. Leave the salmon for another restaurant. 2. The scene is nightclub-ish, i.e. loud music, hot chicks, great drinks, etc. May not be the best place to take your church-going grandparents… just saying 3. The 3-course LivingSocial deal includes a salad, an appetizer, and an entrée. Dessert is NOT included… but a bottle of wine is :). The tip for the total amount of $ 190 can be annoying… 4. Each course comes out moderately slow. 5. When in doubt, go to the bathroom where you’ll be serviced in every possible way… but the toilet stalls are still private in case you’re wondering: P

Came here for brunch with my best friend Stefie a few weeks back. We were intrigued by the look of the place every time we walked by in the past. When there was a Gilt City deal, Stefie pulled the trigger and voila! We made our reservation. The décor and space is pretty classy and upscale, but don’t let this deter you from coming in! Upon entering, the hanging chandelier is quite eye catching and hard to miss. We had a two dishes and two alcoholic drinks each for the brunch deal. I ordered my usual, because I am a creature of habit: Steak Frites & Eggs. I can never say no to eggs or steak in the morning. While this is a pretty standard dish and it was good, it came out a little on the cold side. Stefie who ordered the Eggs Benedict, can agree that her albeit tasty food also came out luke warm… After chowing down our main dishes for breakfast and downing each of our first Bellini’s, we were still wanting some more food… and our next drinks. We agreed and added these two sides: Truffle Mac n Cheese and the Foie Gras Dumplings. Again, these were all just warm and we had to ask our server to warm them up. Our server was very understanding and got our food warmed up right away. Out of the four dishes we ordered, the Foie Gras is a must have!!! There aren’t many pieces so this will be gobbled up quite quickly because they are amazinggg! Then again, I am a huge fan of Foie Gras, so I guess I am just a tad bit biased. During the duration of brunch, we couldn’t help but keep looking around at other tables’ orders. We really enjoyed all of what we ordered but I have to say that the RSVP Stuffed French Toast Box looks amazing… and that the next time Stefie and I come back, one of us is definitely ordering the box. It just looks like a heavenly cube of toast, powered sugar, and ooey gooey syrupy tasty breakfast happiness! Even though all the food and drinks were great, and the service was decent, we felt like it was a little pricey for the portions that we were given(except for this French Toast Box– it looks HUGE). There are a lot of interesting and unique dishes that are available to order but I don’t know if I’m intrigued enough to come back regularly. It’s a nice place to have on a bucket list and try out, but a little costly to be one of my regular haunts for a weekend brunch. Overall, we enjoyed our food and it was a great Saturday spent over trying a new restaurant.

Best service I’ve ever had in NYC. Ever. I don’t even place value on service usually– because I’m usually easy going and don’t care. Food was excellent too. If you want large servings go to TGIF/Red Lobster — but if you want delicious food come here! I had the watermelon salad which was one of the most creative things I’ve tasted, also the lobster ravioli which was perfect. $ 16 drinks hurt a little — but what the hell — maybe the ambiance makes it worth it. Went on a Thursday night for dinner, and there was no loud DJ blaring.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful date night at this place! We ordered drinks(miami mojito and a beer), appetizers(fois gras dumplings and cracb cakes), and the lamb and branzino. Perfectly sized portions with wonderful bold tastes. However, what impressed me the most is their service. Sammy was very attentive, polite, professional, and hospitable. It felt like being served at a fancy five-star place without the stuffiness and over-pretentiousness that often comes with that. I would definitely go back to RSVP and recommend this to couples looking for a relaxed yet polished restaurant to try. The food is great but the service will definitely keep you coming back for more.

Nice, large space that seems to be part restaurant, part lounge. It could use more than one bar, IMHO, but the bartenders are efficient and fast. Sound system is meh. A space like this could have been a lot more with a better sound system. Love the food! Props to the French Toast and the truffle arugula pizzas. The chef is a cutie, too.

I had the pleasure of dining here this past Monday night and enjoyed a fabulous meal with great service. We were seated right by the window with the doors open so that we could enjoy the cool summer breeze. Inside was beautiful, dark and dimly light with a gorgeous and quite large chandelier in the center of the room. Our server was friendly, informative and attentive enough without being overbearing and annoying. He made some recommendations in terms of wine and even let me decide between two by giving me a tasting. Because everything on the menu sounded so great, we decided to share some appetizers and entrees in order to get the full experience. Everything was spectacular: the Miso Black Cod was buttery and smooth, Hamachi Crudo was light and fresh, the Truffle Honey Rack of Lamb was both savory and sweet and the mashed potatoes on the side were served with a generous amount of truffles and lastly the Seared Ahi Tuna was fresh and delicious, served with three dipping sauces! And while the chocolate cake dessert sounded intriguing, we unfortunately opted out for impromptu dessert plans elsewhere. Chic décor, outstanding food and flawless service — three great reasons to come to RSVP.

My recap at RSVP would benefit greatly from a rating breakdown, so here’s mine: Service — 5 Décor — 4 Food/Price Ratio — 3 I visited recently with a fellow Unilocaler for a nice dinner for two. Arriving with our appetites, we split two appetizers and our entrees, so there was plenty of food to go around. We warmed up with some ahi tuna spring rolls(pic: ) and the burrata plate. Served in twos, the tuna spring rolls were packed to the brim with savory tuna and accompanied with a trio of tasty dipping sauces. The burrata, made with creamy bufala mozzarella, was paired with two hearty pieces of bruschetta For the entrees, we split an order of the filet mignon( ) and the rack of lamb. While the filet was decently-sized, the rack of lamb could be described as anemic at best( ). Four ribs graciously leaning over a pile of garlic mashed comprised this $ 38 plate. If you’re into lamb, it was very tasty — just be sure to order a side if you’re hungry! All food came out nicely plated, and we washed our meal down with two cocktails off the specialty menu. Our drinks were potent and well-built. Although it was rather empty on the Monday night that we went, it’s worth noting that the service we received was impeccable. Meals were described in detail and recommendations were made as my accomplice and I tried to navigate the tantalizing menu options. Overall, I think another visit is due, as there were many other appealing plates we didn’t get to try. I get that this is a nice restaurant, but I think that they need to either make adjustments to the price, or the portion sizes so they’re a bit more in balance.

I have to admit that I was a bit apprehensive about dining at this restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, a gal like me likes to go out to a classy joint, however I was a bit turned off by their website that boasts how wickedly cool they are and how many celebs dine at their establishment. But, once I got there, all of that went away. We came here as soon as they opened at noon, so it was hard to do a proper assessment on the speed of service and overall atmosphere, however I still had a good experience. My friend and I shared the fruit salad which was super fresh and simple. He had a cheeseburger and loved it and I had the steak frites and eggs that were good. They have a small selection of beer and a pretty good selection of spirits. Our waiter was good and continuously checked on us. The décor is super sexy, even during the daytime, with a huge chandelier highlighting the dining area which I’m sure is gorgeous at night. I look forward to going back in the evening. Ya never know, I may run into one of those celebrities that they keep talking about.

RSVP is a very cool new spot. I went here last night for dinner. This is a great first date spot if you want to have a fun night, or a great place to just grab drinks with a group of friends. I loved the décor. It’s upscale and trendy. This place is very spacious! A couple of tables were celebrating birthdays and I saw these giant champagne bottles going around. These bottles were literally the size of a 3 year old child(SERIOUSLY!). Great way to start the night. They also have a couple of girls going around in body paint mingling with the crowd. Another girl dressed as a magician performed a couple of cool songs, the men seemed to really be enjoying this as she went around and approached them. The bar section was crowded with a nice mix of people. I had the lobster bisque ravioli which was great. My guest had the Lamb which made me a little jealous after i saw it. Tasted and looked great. I posted a photo. Definitely coming back and thinking of having my birthday dinner here :-)

Even in its infancy, I’ve now had a chance to dine at RSVP on a number of different occasions, and between ABC Kitchen, Employees Only, and this newly-minted lil’ guy in the SoHo area, it’s quickly become one of the places I recommend to folks looking for a treat when visiting New York, or to celebrate one of life’s milestones that happens to come their way. It’s chic, they think outside the box with fun performances like live music and roaming magicians, and the food(from a guy I used to watch on Hell’s Kitchen) is some of my favorite at the moment. In no particular order, I could nomnomnom on these all day: + Ahi tuna spring rolls + Crab cakes + Truffle pizza + Foie gras dumplings + Tuna tartar + Rock shrimp tempura(so good!) + All day brunch(like a fancy, schmancy version of JBX or something!) The cocktail menu also stands tall, though the real star of the show is the grub, IMO. It’s definitely a scene, so if you’re looking for a Katie Holmes sighting… you’d have way more luck spotting here(sans Suri) as opposed to a place like Brother Jimmy’s(though, she’d earn major points in my book if she did get photographed snagging a bite there!). If you have a Black Card, why not break it out here?

Great brunch in Soho! RSVP is a nice addition to that area! We came on Sunday to celebrate our friend’s 30th birthday for brunch and it was quite an amazing meal. We had the French Toast Box, the Foie Gras dumplings, the Mushroom Quiche and the Truffle Mac and Cheese. The French Toast Box is a must try! I would say get this to split between the table since it is a huge portion, then try other items as well on the menu. The filling of maple infused mascarpone and sheep’s milk ricotta was to die for. So rich and went perfectly with the brioche and the syrup. The pecan crust was perfect as well and the presentation was just amazing! The foie gras dumplings are also very tasty but a very small portion(three small dumplings to an order). If you love foie, this is the dish for you, but if you are hungry, you might need to supplement with another item. The truffle mac and cheese was also to die for. It was nicely al dente and cheesy with the perfect hint of truffle. The mushroom quiche was a great dish as well. perfect buttery pastry crust with big chunks of mushroom. I would have liked more varieties of mushroom in this dish, but still a big winner. Finally for my friend’s birthday they surprised us with a Red Velvet Chocolate Lava Cake. This was the perfect chocolatey end to the meal. It was served warm with a molten interior and such a moist cake. You must have this dish if you are a fan of chocolate. MUST. Drinks were strong and tasty and they have a wide variety of specialty cocktails to choose from. Only suggestion to the restaurant would be to offer a brunch and cocktails option that you see with so many other NYC restaurants. It would be nice to have a fixed price package that included drinks. Prices are a bit steep for brunch, but that is my only issue here. Finally, our server Elis was great! He was attentive, friendly and had great recommendations. He, the chef, the bartender and the ambiance of the restaurant as a whole made our friend’s 30th a success! We will definitely be back!

Wow… RSVP is the hot now place in Soho! Very sexy inside… beautiful chandeliers low lighting, magic shows… the magician came to our table and made the experience very intimate… and most importantly they have all of my favorite dinner foods!!! They even have a brunch menu that is severed all day! The staff was extremely attentive and kind. You MUST try the cod under the appetizer section… hands down the best cod I have ever had. Also try the filet,…truffle mac and cheese. I had the cocktail that has Avion Tequila and St Germain and it was… AHHHMAZZZING. This was a perfect date night for my boyfriend and I. But I am defiantly going to bring all my single girlfriends here too for a ladies night… we need it and it’s the perfect atmosphere. Wonderful experience, thank you RSVP for bringing a breathe of fresh air to Soho!
