Service was fast. I had the mild curry chicken. Chicken was tender. Portion was good. The rice was sticky and delicious. Price was very low. Interior was not bad at all. The tea was very unique. My only comment is that if you order the curry, tell them to hold the onions. A curiously large amount of sliced raw onions in the chicken curry. They took credit cards, which was great. I will probably be back as it is close to my apt and was fast and convenient.

I wish I could refund my lunch right now. I ordered a pickup for lunch. Thai iced coffee tasted like watered down flavorless coffee with tons of sugar. Salmon sushi and rolls did not stay together. Just use some damn vinegar! It’s another one of those Chinese take-out restaurants trying to be something they’re not. Buying salmon from Costco and rolling it does not make you a restaurant! I should have known better when it’s a fusion restaurant between Japanese and Thai cuisine.

Food was okay, the quality of the food was decent. It’s not expensive, for the quality they are serving. The place was clean.

Redeemed the weekly Eat24 code here for their mediocre Any 2 Rolls Maki Special(Lunch) 1 + 10.50(Choice of Roll 1: 4. Yellowtail, Choice of Roll 2: 5. Alaska) with Choice of Rice: Regular. came with your typical salad and an average miso soup, too.

My experience was the same as Sarah J’s. It took 2 hours & multiple calls for me to receive the INCORRECT order. At one point, I tried to cancel my order, but Sakura wouldn’t let me.

An inexpensive Thai & Japanese restaurant just North of Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Mott Thai was a little too liquid for my taste. It was nice to go next door for a gelato dessert.

We ordered for delivery, they said it would be 15 – 30 minutes, but after an hour and 10 minutes we are still waiting. I will never order from them again!

Ordered lunch from here while visiting my Mom yesterday, shes not the biggest Japanese food fan(my fave) so I considered this a big step lol. The delivery was fast so thats a plus. I had the Fresh Tuna Terryaki lunch special which came with rice, Caifornia Roll and soup or salad. For 8.99 in Manhattan not a bad deal. he tuna was pretty good, decent sized piece but was a bit too overdone, I like my tuna a little more on the rare side. The sauce was good, not too gloppy, more on the sweeter side of the terryaki spectrum. The Miso was ok, nothing special. My problem was with the California roll, not the roll itself which tasted fine but first that they only give 3 pcs. Ok maybe Im nitpicking but Im used to Brooklyn where you get the whole roll with special. Biggest issue was that the rolls were sitting in a pool of terryaki sauce! If you know the sauce is gonna leak in then put the roll in a separate tray. Luckily m Mom hates Cali rolls and gave me hers. This is a small and easily fixed problem that would have iven you 4 instead of 3 stars. Come to think of it why doesnt Unilocal let us give half stars? This would have so been a 3 and a half star review? But aas thats a debate for another day.

The food here was really good but I strongly suggest making this just a take out place and NOT a sit down dinner. Place is small. Maybe 8 tables. There was nobody even there and the waitresses hovered over us asking us 4 times if we were ready to order within 2 minutes of sitting down.(and all of the delivery boys were on their iPhones waiting for seamless orders so I knew they weren’t too crazy busy to rush us) We ordered a Thai dish and some sushi. Food came quick and was really good. But I felt we were being watched the whole time we ate. She just leaned up against the wall behind us watching us and the door. My boyfriend was done with his meal(but I was still slowly finishing off the pile of broccoli left on his plate) and the waitress swooped over and took his plate. Didn’t even ask if he or we were done. I still had some sushi left and every time I’d stop to talk or just take a break, the waitress would come over to see if I was finished… but I was not so I almost had to protect my food and pick up my chopsticks to stop her. Finally she brought over some oranges for dessert but maybe a minute later came and took it away cause I don’t think we were eating it fast enough. Check came and we were done. So…you want good, fast sushi and quick service, go here. If you want a nice atmosphere and pleasant service… don’t go here!

This place has been my local sushi spot for the past 10 years and I can’t believe I’m seeing some bad reviews. The sushi is always so good, solid every time. The rolls are unique and delicious. I will admit the staff doesn’t make for the most comfortable eating experience, they sometime rush you and the atmosphere isn’t great(bright lights, tv on), but I will stand by the food 100%. Great take out/delivery sushi.

The service was excellent. The atmosphere has a very homey comfortable feeling. We had Salmon Sushi with Avocado, big mistake. The Avocado was ice cold and overtook the Salmon. We then tried the Pad See Yu, spicy, it was very good and you get your money’s worth. We couldn’t finish the Thai Ice Tea because it was so sweet. But all around it was an ok place.

Do not do it. Just don’t. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll and the Kiss Fire Roll. Very mushy nasty mess. Couldn’t even be picked up with chop sticks from falling apart. Chopsticks that I had in my apartment. There were none in the bag. Best thing was my soda. Mushy, warm, fishy smelling junk. I’m so pissed cause that’s money I could have spent in the bar if I didn’t want to eat but I tried to be good and I’m still hungry!!! FML!!!

Good sushi. I’ve eaten there solo and with friends. I usually order the house salad with ginger sauce, the California roll, and the Philadelphia roll. The food was fresh and delicious! My friend ordered the seaweed salad, Alaska roll, and Dragon roll. She said they were good too. The restaurant is cute and the service is professional, pleasant, and quick. I will be going back here!

I got the Sakura Platter — which was incredibly disappointing — it’s basically just a Sushi Special & Sashimi Special… First, there wasn’t much in terms of presentation, it wasn’t much to look at… Second, the preparation of various fish was sub-par, some of the pieces were chewy and were not properly trimmed… Third, the«special roll» was really unappetizing in terms of appearance and also flavor, it’s really just a California roll with added Cucumber, topped«spicy crunchy Tuna» which was neither crunchy nor spicy — it was bland and mushy and the fish was stringy and gristly… Fourth, I do not like their Mackerel recipe at all, it is really funky and stinky… Fifth, there just wasn’t any flavor or delicacy or distinctiveness to anything, and although I ordered an extra large assortment hoping to snack on it for a couple of hours, I was finished after a few bites, not even interested in finishing the rest — maybe I can pawn it off on a friend?

Cute place. I went there planning to have sushi and ended up having Thai instead. The service was lovely(quick, attentive, pleasant), food was fresh and well made. I had the lunch special massaman curry. I loved the tiny fried potato cubes on top — very unique twist on the usual massaman. The curry itself was really good — sweet but not too sweet. I would definitely visit again!

Ugh. I just ordered take out from this place. First and last time. I got the veggie pad thai. Now Ive been to Thailand numerous times and I know what pad thai should taste like. This tastes nothing like pad thai. It had no taste or flavor, and had zucchini(?!) in it. Really?! Zucchini?! You have got to be kidding me. I also ordered the garlic shrimp. Which was for $ 5, a pathetic portion. The sauce was alright but Im sure there was MSG in it. For some reason, both the pad thai and shrimp had a super rubbery texture. I didnt finish the pad thai and its sitting in my fridge right now. It will probably remain untouched. Actually to tell you the truth, my tummy feels kinda off right now after eating all that. Go somewhere else for Asian food. I should have known not to trust a place that serves Japanese AND Thai AND Chinese.

This place has the worst spicy tuna roll and hijiki salad I have ever had. The pisswarm oddly flavored tea was the kicker. The food had such odd sweetness to it and the texture was that similar to catfood. I felt bad so I told the waitress I was stuffed and to wrap up my food. I actually ended up giving the leftovers to a homeless person on the street. I kind of feel guilty now that I subjected a homeless person to such crappy cuisine… and that’s saying a lot since they usually eat out of the garbage. I don’t understand how they got any review above 3 stars. If you are a true sushi/sashimi lover(i.e.- don’t buy your sushi from the supermarket/buffet) you’d know better.
