History
Established in 2010.
Revered international stylist and colourist Greg Ruggeri and interior designer Craig Longhurst made a lifelong dream come true when they brought their successful salon business from Sydney, Australia to New York City in 2010.
Starting out in fashionable Chelsea, Salon Ruggeri received the «Best Blonde in New York» nod from New York Magazine after only 6 months of operating.
Since then, Salon Ruggeri has been showcased in the «who’s who» of beauty publications, including W, Time Out New York, Allure’s «Best Of» list and Vanity Fair’s «The Beauty Blog.» Perfectly positioned in Manhattan’s Chić NoMad, Salon Ruggeri embodies the ultimate in luxury, service and style.
While we are of course open for business, expect the completed, fully fabulous salon this summer. Call it our soft opening; Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Business Owner
«A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation.»
Unknown —
Salon Ruggeri started as a conceptual dream between Craig Longhurst (Interior Designer) and Gregorio Ruggeri (Stylist), who at the time were both frustrated with their prospective jobs and Industries. Their dream was big, to combine their love of Design and Style Aesthetic to create an environment that was worthy of the word SALON.
