Sania’s Brow Bar

Sania’s work is a game changer to the look of your face. I had been on hiatus from her as she moved locations and I moved out of Manhattan. Someone posted a pic of me from 2007 and I thought «damn my eyebrows looked amazing». Not coincidentally that was back when I was going to Sania religiously. I’m so happy to be back with her and love her pencil. Treat yourself and book an appt!

My wife and daughter get their brows done often. Nothing short of spectacular experience. I enjoy going with them and chilling on the couch having a scotch and enjoying the amazing ambiance. It’s a great all around experience.

My brows are always perfect thanks to Sania! Love going there, always so welcoming and extremely clean! I CAN NOT live without her pencil!

Sania has been doing my brows for years.
I was over plucked and «rounded» — sort of like Ronald McDonald.
She taught that by not moisturizing the eyebrow area the hairs would grow back in–
But in the meantime she taught me how to color them in with her great mechanical brow pencil.

I love Sania and her daughter! She asks me what kind of look I want and makes my brows look naturally good. She shares tips to encourage the hair follicles to fill in naturally. Her method of brow shaping is nearly painless and leaves only the slightest hint of redness.
Her manner is warm and personal, her daughter who helps run their salon space is sweet and professional. I always leave there feeling both pampered and like I’ve just lunched with an old friend. Pretty awesome!

I’ve been seeing Sania for about a year and a half and am so happy I found her. My brows had become sparse from being professionally waxed for many years. Sania explained proper brow shape/​length and told me it would take some time for my brows to start filling in. She also gave me a few tips as well to help with growth.
I picked up Sania’s brow pencil in the lightest shade which helps immensely with maintenance and providing a polished look. I had never used a brow pencil before and was initially skeptical but I’m glad I took Sania’s advice.
Sania could not be nicer and I love visiting the brow bar every few weeks!

Sania completely transformed my eye brows, I am forever grateful! They were just over plucked and needed some serious help. I followed Sania’s advice, was patient with her recommended brow growth program and just left them alone. It took a while to get my brows where they are now but it also took years to screw them up to begin with! Each time, after each appt, they look better and better. Just listen to her, ask questions and she’ll explain what needs to get done. Sania is a talent and she’ll deliver, I’m one of her many happy clients.

She does a great job — you have to be patient. The only thing that stinks is that she isn’t open on the weekends. Moreover, you walk in, even if you have an appointment and you have to wait. However, she is amazing for brows and her brow pencil is GOD SENT! She is really sweet too! She has a customer for life with me.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Sania’s Brow Bar. I had been growing my eyebrows out for about 3 months, so I wanted to be super careful about the place I went to get them done. I am very glad I finally ended up deciding on Sania. She kept my brows thick and showed me exactly how to fill them in. I’ve gotten so many compliments on them. A++++!!

Today was my first time getting my eyebrows done by sania and I am very very pleased. First of all I didn’t have an appointment but that was no problem and the wait was not long. She took her time and explained my problem areas (too thin and too short) and showed my how to fill in and shape my brows. Her pencil is the best I’ve ever tried. Yes the price is high but she did such a great job and when brows are shaped correctly you can usually manage them on your own for longer and not have to go back so often. I’d definitely recommend Sania and will be back.

Sania just got back from vacation and boy, my brows missed her! Ive been going to her for about two years and she has transformed my brows! She truly has hands of gold! When I first came in to see her, she told me that she had a vision for my brows and to trust her and be patient (and avoid the creams!)…I did just that and my brows have never looked better. I get compliments ALL the time about my brows! And Sania is just the sweetest person and so passionate about what she does — she truly deserves all of her success! And fyi to any brides, Sania has some great recommendations (an added bonus!). cant wait until my next visit with this brow goddess!

The scheduling staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have been going here for over five years but her scheduling staff has ruined everything for me. There was a fire in the Lincoln Tunnel that caused me to miss my appointment and the staff member threatened me over the phone saying that she was going to charge me and was not understanding at all when I explained to her what happened. She went on and on (as if reading a script) about a cancellation policy and showed absolutely no empathy or understanding. Hopefully, someone will read this and send her to some basic customer service class. Sania’s skill is impressive however, I have decided to go elsewhere because of the disrespectful and rude phone conversation this morning. Unbelievable.

Sania has transformed my brows for the better. Her style is to have them thicker which I like and more full. She spends time explaining to you what she is doing and then carefully tweezes away all the stray hairs that you have. Her schedule is super packed so I recommend calling for an appointment in advance. She charges $ 75 a pop, but if you pay in cash you get a slight discount which helps.

As a person who takes my eyebrows very seriously (bit obsessed). I refuse to allow anyone else to touch my eyebrows now. I am a fairly new client and have found that going to Sani is not just a pluck and go situation; she showed me how I can maintain my eyebrows in between. It has helped me immensely; and when I feel that I cannot manage the brows any longer I make my usual appointment. She’s extremely patient and I never feel awkward or rushed with her. I can tell she is passionate about what she does and I am pleased with the results. I have also purchased the tweezers and eyebrow pencil. If you are wise, you would purchase that pencil ASAP. I use it every day and receive compliments on my eyebrows. I have referred many people to Sani and will continue to do so.

So I decided to try Sania’s after much research. Let me start by saying I have no problem paying top dollar for anything that enhances beauty. In addition, I noticed my last eyebrow lady waxed a chunk off so I let it grow out intentionally for three weeks to come see Sania. Granted, I know eyebrows take much longer to grow, but I wanted to book my appointment before my trip. Anyways, upon my arrival the place was pleasant but not a warming welcoming vibe. There were two people before me, even though I got to my appt early. Now, now of this bothers me. What bothers me is spending $ 75.00 for ten min for a half efforts consultation and a couple plucks to my eyebrows. I didn’t leave saying to myself «wow» or I learned something new. I know it takes progress, but I guess for the price I was expecting a much better experience.
Like many reviews before me she told me the same thing not to put creams near my eye brow area and to let it grow Etc. I can’t speak for her, but I felt like she really didn’t care. I can watch a you tube tutorial a couple times and learn the same tips.

after reading reviews of a few places and deciding on sania, I was disappointed that Sania was going to be closed on the Saturday after thanksgiving when I was going to be in nyc, however before I arrived in the town I received a call that she was going to come in for one hour. It was quick and very helpful, completely changed my look. I would come every 3 months to nyc if I need too, just to keep the shape.

In response to sania, my appointment was walk-​in by nature. I did not make an appointment over the phone. I had planned to visit for awhile and was very excited for my first experience at a high-​end brow bar, but walked away disappointed. I still find $ 75 outrageous. Yes, there is nothing wrong with the brow shaping itself, but I didn’t need to spend $ 75 to achieve this look. In fact, perhaps I would revisit this brow bar if I felt the service was deserving and courteous. I did not.

I’ll go back (only because maybe Sania has a plan?), but my eyebrows are «meh» now. Honestly, I prefer my own pluckage of them, but seeing the results she’s has with other women, I’m willing to be a little patient. I had a few stray hairs (and I wasn’t sure if they were there as part of the me growing my eyebrows out process or what?) and after about a week I noticed they look somewhat uneven (which I try to correct with eyebrow powder).
Like others, she told me I put too much cream on my eyebrows. For me, it’s a non-negotiable…I slather my face with a high quality SPF 45 daily… I’d rather have sparser brows than pre-​mature wrinkles. This is something I’ll ask her about when I go back… the SPF is non-​negotiable for me, but I’m willing to make some adjustments in type.
Like I said, I’ll probably give this two more chances and if I don’t see a noticable difference I’ll give another place a try.

Sania continues to be fantastic, but her address change left me hanging. I came to her a few times downtown but It was complicated to fit my schedule.

It’s tough love at Sania’s Brow Bar, as it should be. Sania would not have the immense reputation she does with the press if she did not know what she was doing.
Frankly, I believe a lot of women THINK they know what their eyebrows should look like, but they don’t. I was one of them too before I saw Sania, so I feel comfortable saying that.
Instead of just plucking away stray hairs and sending you on your way, Sania will analyze your face shape and give you advice on where you might actually need to let your brows grow. For me, that meant applying creams and foundations further away from my eyebrows to let them grow back in certain small areas. A year after my first appointment, I can already see progress. I would have never thought that the problem with my brows was that they were actually too thin in places, but it was!
The most important lesson from Sania, however, is how to fill in your brows. I told her this at my most recent appointment: filling in my brows is the single most important thing I have ever done for my face. It takes some practice, but the end result is 100% worth the extra time in your morning routine.
I think any reviewer saying she/​he was not happy with the shape of her brows may be unhappy because Sania felt a different brow shape was better for his/​her face. It’s worth trusting her, though. Sania, I can’t thank you enough!
