Tried this food track several times in FiDi. Excellent food. A little pricey: $ 12.5 for a sandwich, but it’s huge and worth every penny. The«spanish» schnitzel is my favorite so far.

I tried the Schnitzi truck on its stop on 33rd street between 8th&9th ave. I had the Asian Schnitzel, my friend had the Spanish Schnitzel. They were both flavorful with excellent ingredients, perfectly cooked. The portions are huge!!! You can easily get two meals out of one order or share one with a friend. The system for orders really impressed me. It was friendly and efficient.

Just tried this food truck at Governor’s Island. I really enjoyed it! I had the Greek schnitzel on a baguette. It was HUGE, so if visiting the truck with someone else you might want to share. It was delicious and the server was able to advise on what dressing would go best with this flavor. The sandwiches are a bit on the pricey side, but you get a lot of sandwich! I would buy from here again, but would share with my husband next time. I couldn’t finish one on my own.

They were at Governors Island on Sunday and I had the Schnitzi(polish style). Great food made fresh. You get a lot of food for $ 12.50. My only suggestion to them would be to offer a half size sandwich.

The review is for the Schnitzi Truck. Food is great, they have a variety for you to choose from. Its priced $ 12.50 and they do take credit cards. In my opinion its a bit pricey for a food thats out the truck, however it is manhattan and the food is excellent so I splurge from time to time. Try it for yourself and you will not be disappointed. Whole order process is 10 minutes and you are out with your food. Try to avoid peak hours especially on very nice days as lines can get lengthy. You can also eat right there in the park if you are lucky enough to find space. They have bands play there in the summertime for your enjoyment also.

Just tried them At Roosevelt island. Terrible terrible service! They don’t fulfill orders in the order they receive. Some people had to be wait an hour and some others, just a couple minutes. The lady at the counter was absolutely clueless. As for the food — the fries were good and the sandwiches were very good. But good enough to wait for an hour? Absolutely not! Their Brooklyn operation might be better but not willing to give that a shot after today’s bad experience.
