I normally order chicken breast with white rice and beans and they charge $ 7.00 but on Saturday and Sunday’s they have a guy there that charges $ 11.00 to $ 12.00 dollars for the same lunch I buy Monday through Friday but I never paid the ridiculous price for 1 chicken breast with rice and beans so be careful Saturday and Sundays there’s a guy there that over charges

I have a special place in my heart for Junior’s. It was the first place I ate when I moved to the Heights on my inflatable mattress with my clanging, hissing radiator that perpetually interrupted sleep. I scooped fish and rice into my hopeful and apprehensive stomach for sustenance and for that, I am thankful. Despite the fact that nothing is labeled and nothing has a price on it, I still come back to that beautiful window display of tender, marinating whitefish fillets and vegetables. I have found a hair once in my food, but choose to disregard it as an anomaly in the face of deliciousness. Great restaurant with delicious food you should try. Everything is outstanding.

I’ve been looking for a place to get good seafood in the heights and I finally found it. Awesome calamari. Grouper was great too. Can’t wait to order again.

Order in the front. And then go sit down. This way, you will get served much faster.

I’ve walked by this place countless times and never even thought to go in. It’s unassuming, looks tiny and I’m a bit scared of seafood in the heights. Yes, I said it and I stand by that comment. I was very surprised when my cousin came over with a huge bag of various dishes and was raving about it. I tried some of the things purchased and that was it. I. Was. Hooked. The shrimp ceviche, while sometimes in need of a more lime, is really good. Even when ordering the small size the amount of shrimp per container is abundant. The shrimp itself are also medium-large and clean. Shrimp pastelito: I’ll have another. And another and another. Big, warm, creamy and filled with shrimp. I once ordered chicarron de pollo(boneless) and tostones and the delivery was quick and food equally delicious. Its open 24 hrs which is a curse for someone like me but I’m glad I finally tried it. There is ALWAYS a line so be patient. Have a pastelito while your food is being prepared!

I really like this place. It’s inexpensive and I like the food. As the name suggests, they primarily serve seafood. The food is prepared and you just order what you want — this makes it really fast to get a good plate of food. You can either do take out or there is a small counter for dining in. There is a broad selection on their menu, ranging from fried fish, to more healthy options such as steamed fish. The basic dish you get here is a a big plate of rice with perhaps some veggies and then a piece of fish. I usually get the grouper and it’s $ 9 — which is pretty good, I think. They have different options for the rice — my favorite is the seasoned rice, cooked with seafood(pieces of shrimp, squid). One problem I’ve encountered a couple times is that the staff doesn’t speak English. So the first time, I didn’t know what to order and I wasn’t really able to get any help. But after coming here a few times, I can generally just point at what I want and don’t have a problem getting it. Some of the people are actually pretty friendly, such as the older fellow who often provides a complimentary cup of soup. In conclusion, definitely not a bad option for a quick meal that tastes good and is hearty.
