For your safety, no outside visitors of any shape/​size are permitted in treatment rooms (i.e., infants, pets, boy/​girlfriends, etc.). If you do plan to bring a visitor with you, please make certain to have another companion to chaperone them (for children under 12) while you are in a treatment.

Business Owner

As a child, Shobha’s grandmother immersed her in India’s natural and spiritual beauty culture, in which they would spend all day preparing meals and beauty treatments for the family. It was there that Shobha experienced the benefit of threading, the customary way to remove facial hair. The painless efficiency and precise definition that threading afforded made Shobha swear off wax, until she returned to the states and found there was no one in her area that threaded. Thus, the idea of Shobha was inspired!

Shobha has a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School & an Electrical Engineering Degree from Michigan State University. Prior to starting her own company, she worked at a technology start-​up, a management consulting firm and a Fortune 500 company. With a keen business sense, Shobha has fused her Indian heritage, her goal of natural beauty and the importance of hair removal together into a wholesome brand.
