One of the hidden gems of NYC! I loved their products for a while and use to order all online. Skingraft I believe is an LA based company, but a couple of years ago opened up shop in NYC; I was ecstatic. The customer service has always been exquisite whether via phone, online, or in person. Sarah and Issac’s knowledge and enthusiasm of the brand exceeded my expectations. They were beyond helpful, it made the shopping experience pleasant and encourages the customer to comeback time and time again.

i usually don’t go out of my way to write a review but i needed to give a shout out to Skingraft for their personalized customer service. i am not a celebrity or a high end fashionita, just a normal looking person, looking for a specific pair of men’s shorts and ended up spending a solid hour in the store because Sarah went out of her way to spend time with me: hand picking out items(in both women’s & men’s section), finding different sizes at their other locations, offering styling tips, checking final sale prices, adding me to their store email list, with absolutely no pressure to buy anything. Not to mention every item is next level quality and design. With lots of beautiful leather detailing, gangstagoth designs, power pieces, everyday staples, androgynous wear, EPICSALES

I pretty much wear at least one Skingraft item every day. Quality and selection is really cool… most items are extremely versatile and/or unique so it’s fun to play around with your outfits. Even though the store is small they will help you make sure you get what you want if they don’t have it physically at the shop. The scarves there are my favorite :) Also a lot of the mens line is super wearable as a girl! Hands down some of the best people running the shop and the line. Patrick & Sarah will definitely make sure you leave with a big smile.

This place is like my dream store. I want everything in it!!! I was shopping for an outfit for a Lady Gaga show and knew this is where I wanted to go. Patrick and Sarah were the coolest, friendliest, dopest people ever. I looked through the racks a couple of time and couldn’t find anything. They went through and found amazing pieces for me. I like shopping without thinking too much. I loved everything they showed me and I knew they weren’t just trying to sell me stuff I didn’t want. Sarah and I actually recognized each other form a store in LA… Small world. Overall, best experience ever, all do to the awesome team of Patrick and Sarah! Ill def be back, and thanks again!

Love this store. Some of the clothes are a little too cartoon punk ninja goth for me, but there’s plenty that’s accessible and all of it is beautifully made with great details. I bought a gorgeous asymmetrical sweater with lovely structured leather shoulders and narrow Rick Owens style leather sleeves. It drapes beautifully. Plus the staff here are ridiculously nice.

I love their flagship item — Leather Harness meets Holster meets Suspender. I haven’t really spent money on leather before so initially I thought it was pricey. and I shopped around for a month looking for other holsters, and honestly I didn’t see anything designed as well as this. I came back, and bought it. $ 200 later, I wear it almost every day. The items are priced at a high end boutique level, so you will probably have to save up your paychecks, but the guys working there have always been super nice and helpful. They are based out of LA, and you can order online — and the New York location has been open since the beginning of this year(2013). It’s a small hidden store among the flurry of boutiques in NoLiTa but if you’re looking for new designs in post-apocalyptic /goth /hard /s&m fashion in stark colors, add this place to your list of places to check out!

Love Love Love — it’s is like a baby Rick Owens line. A lot of black stuff, so I totally love that — cute shoes and leather goods. I didn’t like the open toe boots for man — that was a bit too much for me. Really good place to buy leather goods. Super tiny boutique — very simple interior.
