I call and always know that Stefan will answer and give a quick response and reasonable price. Their movers are polite and strong the 3 times I’ve used them.

We used Sterling again less than two years later (we really need to stop moving) — the service was equally as great. Five star review remains. They are a superb moving company. First class all the way!

This is my second time using Sterling for my move. Sterling responds back in a timely manner and provide reasonable price while neing insured. Their staff were on time, efficient and attentive. Richard noticed that my dining table was loose and he tightened it for me without asking. Some of my furniture are too large for the entrance hallway and Frank made sure that he could get it through by unscrewing the legs (some movers don’t care and will push and scratch the walls). They paid extra attention to the new floors and the furniture. Highly recommended them!

Moved in Aug 2012 all went smoothly from getting the initlal quotes to the move. Stefan sent 3 movers, they were efficient and arrived promptly, in fact 5 mins before the scheduled time. They stopped quickly for lunch and resumed promptly at the time stated. The movers were very friendly, and had an upbeat personality throughout the move in spite of the flights of stairs they had to take for a 2 story walkup.
The price is not the cheapest, maybe slightly above average, but based on the quality of work, it’s worth it. The only thing I would do differently is to wrap on my paintings. While Sterling stated they will wrap and put the paintings /​pictures in a separate crate, there wasn’t separate crate and the movers were going to include them w/​the TV box. So I had to wrap up the paintings /​pictures myself in the last min.
Great job overall. No broken furniture, but a big scratch on the dining table, which is not ideal but tolerable since it can be masked with the Old English Scratch Cover. I would use Sterling again, but may supervise more carefully, and take the extra step to protect the art work myself.

DO NOT use these guys. Not only were they rude (laughing at me when I asked them to be careful with some nice art), they rushed through everything (despite the fact that I paid A LOT for a flat rate for the day), but the worst is that they decided that it was a great idea to through a bunch or my stuff into a box together including both cleaning supplies (soap, bleach) and clothing resulting in the total ruining of some special pieces of clothing including a piece recently inherited by my grandmother (a very very old fur).
Seriously, do not use.

Sterling Movers were fantastic! They moved our 2 bed apartment from a third floor walkup into our new place in under 4 hours. Their price was incredibly reasonable, they fully wrapped and protected all our furniture and moved our hanging clothes with ease. We worked with Stephan who was funny and kind and made the whole moving process, which was a bit last minute, very easy and worry-​free. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their services!

Sterling helped my partner and I move into our new apartment on December 1^st. They gave us the best price and moved both our apartments into our new one in under 4 hours. I will say though, during the move a coffee table broke and a dresser was chipped. Granted they were cheaper items and we weren’t too upset over it, that was still a small bummer. Overall service was excellent though.

Sterling movers are fast, professional and considerate. They executed a flawless move and made what could have been a stressful situation into a very positive experience.

I called a few moving companies for an estimate to move my one bedroom Apartment in Queens. Sterling came in with a good price. Not too high or not too low. Most of all, the Estimator seemed very knowledgeable about the business as he had spent considerable time as a mover himself. This made a welcome change from the routine pushy sales pitches I got from the other guys.
The move went smooth, fast and efficient. No damages, no deviations from the price and no hassles. I would recommend these guys based on my experience.
