After starting my career at PricewaterhouseCoopers with a focus on external auditing, then working as an internal auditor for an investment bank, I founded my own firm. We specialize in nonprofit work and in providing general business services to artists. We have a solid in-​house staff and maintain strong out-​of-​firm relationships with consultant specialists. The Lowe Bureau, the bookkeeping arm of the company, is currently staffed by a CPA and a SWAT team of bookkeepers.

Business Owner

I was born and raised in New York City. I’ve been a licensed CPA for over fifteen years. I have an MBA in Finance and Marketing and a B.S. in Accountancy. I have been an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Long Island University where I taught Auditing and Accounting Information Systems. I conduct a seminar every year on The Business of Being an Artist. I’m active on the Not-​for-​Profit and Taxation of Individuals committees of the New York State Society of CPAs. I’m known as «The Singing CPA.»

I also consult on a variety of tax and general accounting issues and can negotiate for clients with the IRS, NY State, the NYC Sales Tax Department and other government agencies.

I’ve been recognized for my leadership and expertise by many organizations, including the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives International and Delta Mu Delta.
