I absolutely love this place!!! The minute i step inside, I am enveloped in wonderfully positive energy that perks up every cell in my body. It is hands down my favorite shop in NYC for crystals. They also sell items like books, smudge sticks, candles and more. The customer service is amazing every time and prices are very reasonable. Some stones are as low as $ 2 or $ 3 each and they have a pretty good selection. All of the staff are warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and influence you to feel very comfortable. I recommend this shop to any and everyone looking for a crystal shop here. I love supporting this business.

Visited this shop last summer and had an amazing experience. The woman working was so friendly and genuine. This time, I walked right past the store because I didn’t recognize it. They changed the layout. I understand it– the old setup was tight and didn’t work well when there were multiple people browsing the shop. But the variety of stones has since decreased significantly. There was just a different vibe overall– felt like I walked into one of those pricey boutiques. Was pretty disappointed and didn’t end up purchasing anything. I hope they stock up soon.

Very friendly help. They have a large variety of smudge sticks, crystals, and much more. It is more expensive than I am used to paying but I enjoyed the visit and bought some palo santo cones.

I have to say this place is amazing. I came in looking for 2 different smudge sticks for family members that were meant to serve different purposes. As someone who has their own smudge stick I thought I would be fine navigating but they have so many different sizes and combinations that I was happily overwhelmed.
The guy who helped me when I explained what I needed was literally one of the sweetest loveliest sales staff I have had the pleasure of talking to in NYC. He knew which herbs in the smudge sticks promoted what and very quickly helped me pick what should be the perfect combination. And he was not pushy and rather I got the sense really liked talking to me about all the different combinations and was happy to answer all of my questions.
Every shopping experience in New York should be this positive. I will be back.

Stick, Stone & Bone is probably the best crystal/​healing store in Manhattan. The stones are beautiful and the staff is extremely accommodating and helpful. Every week they have new crystals, as well as varieties of candles, jewelry, and incense/​sage. They also have all crystal bibles in the store so if you are unsure or want to learn more about any crystals, you can just look it up in the store. While the prices can be a bit high sometimes, the quality is great. I make it a point to travel here at least a few times a month because they are just so wonderful!

I came in here one day to buy some crystals for my chakras. I immediately fell in love with this little shop. They have a nice selection of crystals and pendulums as well as other items you may want/​need.
The salesperson was very friendly and knew his stuff. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to ask many of my questions because he was pretty dominated by another customer.
I can’t wait to come back for some new crystals when the time is right!

Another gem of a place. I love the Native American jewelry and objects for sacred rituals found here along with crystals that have the meanings and properties listed on them so it’s fun and educational. Warm staff real people who care and assist with their true spirit.

Nice little boutique shop to find that special gift for anyone who is into Native American arts or New Age things like crystals, incense, and smudging.
My gal is into the Native American thing and I picked up a few pieces here on occasion for our apartment. Not the largest selection but sometimes they carry some nice artifacts.
I think I liked the old layout of the place better. Seems different than a few years ago. Still, worth a look into if you are the type into unusual gifts and/​or purifying a new space you’re moving into.

My friend introduced me to Stick, Stone and Bone a few years ago. I visit here a few times a year to replenish my supplies. I’ve never been disappointed. They have always had what I was looking for. The staff has always been friendly and courteous.
I was looking for a particular crystal to wear around my neck and both of the sales people were helpful in helping me figure out which one was the right one for me. I ask questions, and they have answers.
Some would say it is because I’ve been there before and they know me, but every time I shop there, there seems to be new people, but I’m always treated the same way.
It is a tiny space but a lot is packed into it. This isn’t a store you can browse for a few minutes and be done. There is something in every nook and cranny. If you don’t go with a ‘shopping list’ you will be in there forever.
I’ve recommended Stick, Stone and Bone to everyone I know.

There must have something written on my face that said «im just browsing.» Which was true. and when you have ever curious 4 year old in tow you would also be very cautious. The items were beautiful and clearly described its purpose. Its nice if you are into stones and such. Worker was nice enough to read the sign on my face and didnt follow me around

Despite reading other reviews I journeyed here from Union Square in the March freezing weather. As soon as I entered the store the woman there asked me if I wanted to heat on and told me where to stand to get it and insisted that I warm up before I look around. So I did nicely. Then she was able to answer all my questions and had bloodstone available as well as a very nice bracelet of black obsidian. The prices were reasonable for what they are offering. I would definitely go back. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He recommended to me the perfect method to smudge my new stones before i start using them. He help and expertise was worth the visit! I will return and call ahead to see if he is working!

Stick, Stone, and Bone has an extensive selection if you’re serious about hippie stuff like smudging your place with sage or finding the right crystals. I came here before this place was remodeled to be narrower and lots more commercial. A woman named Sonia helped me several times when I was visiting, freaked out about purifying my new apartment. She’d keep the place open and help me find sage, beautiful but expensive Himalayan salt lamps, scarves, candles, and selenite candle holders to make the place my own. Easing my fear that I had to deal with «bad feng shui» and talking to me about the candida diet.
I came back after the remodel to find poorer quality sage, a diminished selection of crystals, and generally a worse looking place. The cantankerous old lady (I’m using that instead of the b word) at the register ignored me for 20 minutes while adding together some woman’s gemstone order. When the order was almost done I said, «Can I ask you a question?» Her response: «No you may not.»
By the time she could help me with my purchase, the place was close to closing and she refused to answer my questions, handing me a crystal book instead. I think she told me to google how to use sweetgrass. I selected two out of four Herkimer diamonds and was debating buying a $ 125 crystal. Instead of giving an opinion, she rushed me and answered in rude retorts until it was time for me to pay, she became a bit more cordial. I felt kind of sorry for this lady or else I would have made sure to use those last 10 minutes to tell her off.

Gems, incense, books and candles for all cures with chakra healing and shamanic ritual wares as well. This is a witch coven and New Age cornerstone and what keeps the shoppers in The Village coming back. I love unique shops like this dotting the streets and keeping people on their toes as they watch the rest of the world around them homogenize without a care. Magick is what makes the imagination run wild and anything we can all do to keep it alive is critical to sustaining humanity in a civilized form. If we don’t the suburbs will suck us into the land of The Stepford Wives fast!

One of my top places to get stones. Have a large selection of tumbled stones. The more delicate and rarer stones are in the cases in the front and the back. Every time I come in — I find something new and lovely that I don’t have. This visit — staff was the older woman and younger slim tall guy– both greet me. The gentleman is knowledgable. This place definitely gets inventory that sells fast– things I wanted in the past were no longer there the next time I visit so if you love something — get it then and there
Not sure why I’ve seen poor reviews– the times I visit — staff always greets me and offers help. People complain that the stones are expensive. Honestly– the quality of gems are good quality and if you are buying rarer pieces– it will be expensive. How does not say that a 6 dollar stone is expensive. If people are being drawn to stones then my advice is to research your stones before your visit or while you are there. I bring my own book with me but the store has store copies you can use.

I came to Stick, Stone, and Bone maybe a 2 months ago with a few friends just to look around and I was impressed. They had a great selection of stones, which was mostly what I was looking for, and the pricing wasn’t too bad either. The woman at the cash register was friendly and gentle with packaging things, which was appreciated. This is a wonderful shop and I’m sure I’ll be back.

I’m giving this place a 3 star review because I have been there 5 times. I have never been greeted with a Hello or any sort of welcome or help :(
I myself wear a lot of gemstones like druzy, labradorite, ruby, citrine, rose quartz and other semi precious stones and they look at me like I’m an alien. Probably because I know the stones or they like my necklace? not sure… They could at least say hi or smile instead they stare.

I can tell you how the store is :
–It’s a small space… Maximum 5 – 6 ppl can walk around without breaking anything. Maybe no strollers…
–The stuff is nice for children if they want to learn about fossils gemstones & crystals.
–They have sage and other things of that nature.
–They have candles that if you were to light them they would bring you luck, love, money, and good health etc.
— They sell tumbled stones from $ 7-​$ 15
–They sell the nice items inside the glass
Such as pendants.
I would recommend going to Evolution. they are very friendly helpful (slightly more expensive) and have two floors.
