Strawberry

Situation: I’ve been to a couple Strawberry locations and this one is by far my favourite. Last weekend I needed a cute day-​to-​night outfit and only had 2 hours so I ran in and bought an expensive looking black crop top embroidered with a fleur-​de-​lis inspired print and die-​cut suede shoes with ankle straps. Wearing these with a maxi skirt with a slit in the back, I went to Central Park, a gala, dinner date, spa and just out and about – the compliments kept coming!
PROS
–Staff is reasonably friendly (unlike the Strawberry location on 34^th street, where when I asked if they could help me get the last Small off the mannequin I was rudely told off!)
–Merchandise is relatively organized, easy to find
–If you’re willing to dig, you can find some nice quality stuff! e.g. designer brand names, wide variety of adorable shoes
–General price point of $ 10-​$ 30
CONS
–Some of the styles they offer are a bit tacky
–It does take some digging to find the good stuff that’s mixed in with the not-​so-​good
–Due to the price point, the merchandise is similar to the quality you’d find at Forever 21 (it won’t last you forever)
–If you enter through the first floor, it looks a little discouraging as it’s small and only has lingerie and some unfriendly looking staff/​security. But take the stairs and let the treasure hunting begin!
In a nutshell…
If you’re looking to stock up on cheap, fashionable clothing and shoes and willing to take the time to look through their inventory, you will very likely score some nice additions to your wardrobe!

i love this store and the clothes are really cheap, personally i say the workers are always there to help you and organizing it but the customers just throw everything everywhere making it a mess because i seen it and they dont care abut it, its sad that they complain if they are the ones making the whole mess all the time, anyways i dont care abut that, i just care that it save me lots of money on clothing for all occassions especially if u have a very tight budget. i mean this is a very busy store the lines to the register are long long long if you go there plz shop on weekdays =)

What a disorganized store! Was in the Herald Square area looking for half-​sleeved cardigans, and after the usual suspects didn’t have what I wanted, I thought what the hell? and walked into Strawberry.
What a mistake. The first floor entrance was deserted except for two very gruff looking men who weren’t wearing name tags. They really put me off and could not answer my inquiry so I went upstairs where it was impossible to find an employee and when I did, she too was unable to answer my questions. She had to ask another employee, who directed me to what was most definitely not half-​sleeved cardigans.
What a waste of time.

This place used to be great before they renovated it. I go in at least once a week to see if there’s something worth buying.
Nope. Never. The shoes don’t have boxes anymore which I hate, and the clothes are just kinda strewn about the place.
I really should just stop going here, but I still have a lil glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe I’ll find something worth purchasing.

This is the Strawberry’s is located inside the Manhattan Mall. Usually Strawberry isn’t a bad store to pick up a last minute accessory, blouse or whatever. It usually is a decent place to pick up what a lot of people refer to as disposable clothes. But this place is such a disorganized mess. This store seems to have no order to it, and even though it’s big with two floors it seems like there really isn’t anything there. With tons of stores like H & M in the area just do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time in here.
