Stuart Weitzman Shoestore

Let me begin by saying I have 5 pairs of Stuart Weitzman shoes/​boots. I’ve purchased them for Stuart Weitzman stores, Saks, and bloomingdales.
This store: Such a poor customer service experiance!
I work for a luxury retail company and was appalled by the terrible customer service in this store.
An older gentlman that worked there walked in as I was shopping and I over heard him commenting (poking fun) at a customers expense to another associate. What disgusting behavior. Who do you think you are?
You should be greatful tot have customers coming to you store, they are not there for your amusement. You do not go shopping to feel like you are being judged. Shame on you! I unfortunately had to buy a pair of shoes there anyway as I did not have time to go anywhere else, but I never will again.
GO TO BLOOMINGDALES down the block for the same selection and none of the attitude.

The merchandise might be great, but the woman who works there is a total bitch. Extremely rude and invasive of your privacy. Worst experience I ever had in there. I came in as a young, secret critic and she gave me all the reason to write this bad review about the staff. Seriously really rude. I don’t recommend you going there. For the amount of money they have to earn to profit in sales to rent that space, they do not deserve to be on Madison Ave. If the store manager reads this, I hope you re consider the woman you hired. For lack of better word; trash.

My favorite shoe store in the whole city… now THAT’S something! I am extremely picky about my choice of shoe and I have pretty narrow feet that turn in, so I have to be extra careful when it comes to choosing the perfect shoe that doesn’t hurt my feet, but still looks fashionable. Stuart Weitzman is just the place! The staff there is absolutely delightful and the décor is out of this world. The prices are absolutely appropriate and there is a plethora of shoes to select. Love this place!

The store has been selling beautiful and expensive black boots with high heels.
I love their innovative and unique design. Of all the Stuart Weitzman stores in NYC, this one has the best selection.

The store quality here has diminished greatly over time in my opinion. I have been coming here for many years. I remember when the customer service was good, shoe quality was better and the sales people treated you with respect.
It doesn’t really matter whether you walk in carrying a $ 5000 designer handbag or a tote from Coach. You might get stared at for a few minutes, they might look down at your shoes, and then make a snap decision whether you are worth waiting on.
They have decent trunk shows at this location, which is about the only thing positive I can say for the store.
I purchased presale two sandals this last winter for the spring collection. They were sent to my home, but did not work out well. When I went to return them, they did not want to because it was more than 14 days since I purchased them! Well duh! They were presold. They charge your card at the time you order rather than at the time of delivery (is that even legal?) !! It took me over 20 minutes to explain that to the salesperson. Utterly ridiculous.
Then they did not want to return one pair and I had to dispute the charge on my credit card. They had the shoes, but did not want to credit my card!
I have had it with the store and made the decision to never come back.

I can walk all day in most shoes that I buy, except the Stuart Weitzman nifty looking

Love this place — came in here in search of wedding shoes and was helped immediately. I found a pair that I loved but the white was a little discolored from sittin in the sun, so the sales associate was nice enough to find me another pair at a different store and have them shipped to me at no cost. They also included extra insoles at no cost, since they were a little loose. Very friendly staff and very convenient location!

Really friendly staff and decent selection and variety. I don’t necessarily dress up to go shopping, and I was coming from lunch with old friends, so I did not look quite like sw’s regular clientele, but everyone treated me like my money was just as green, which was nice. These shoes are not exactly cutting edge, but they are really comfy. I was greeted by several peoe as I came in, even though they were crowded, and I was offered help but not harassed about it. The sales associate was knowledgable, helpful and patient, and not at all pushy.

SHOES GALORE!
With two specific shoes in mind taken directly from Stuart Weitzman’s website, I ventured to Madison Avenue in hopes of enabling replacements to my shoe collection. The sales associate Alexander, who initiated a warm greeting upon my entrance was very accommodating to my specific needs and desires during my entire presence. He was able to find these two shoes if not suggest a near alternative shoe with the same features and classic style. I was hoping for a huge selection but their style is very classic, simple and extreme comfort without inducing pain to the feet. He further serve my request to split the bill evenly onto THREE formats!
Stuart Weitzman is a well made shoe designed for the feet where I was walking on cloud nine rather than pounding the ground plaguing with millions of blisters. Albeit, Stuart Weitzman is a brand name designer shoe but of high quality thus well formed as it aligns for the exorbitant price.
At the close of the sale, Alexander, the sales associate praised and admired my liveliness with a genuine smile of: «I LOVE your energy!!»

I popped in here during an afternoon stroll with a friend. We were in search of wedding shoes. We found a pair that would have been perfect, only no one seemed to be interested in helping us. After waiting around to catch a bored looking sales associate’s attention she immediately told us the style we picked out was very popular and that she didn’t «think» she had them in my size… and then stood there staring at us.
Ookaay…so since we have been searching high and low for the perfect shoes and think we’ve finally found them we ask her if she could ya know, find out if they do or do not have them in my size.
We get some eye action and she does her thing and says nope, all out. No offer of would we like them in another color, or information on when they might be getting a new shipment.
Now, around us other customers seemed to be getting perfectly good service that you would expect from a Stuart Weitzman store. No idea why she was so disinterested in us when we were looking to purchase two pairs of $ 300+ shoes.
My friend persisted in asking for them in another color so that we could try them out. They were great. So great, I almost impulse bought the other color because they were so comfortable and vampy all at once. Except that they were practically hurled at us. Except that when we were asked if they would be getting more in in the other color we were told «I don’t know.» end of story. Not interested. I even persisted suggesting I could call to check back in a week or so. I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t give me ANY answer. Ah well. Lovely shoes, plan to order them on-​line.

Love Stuart Weitzman shoes and this store has good customer service. Just a tip: sales are final but the sales associates can arrange for you to be able to exchange so ask!

They agreed that it was a defect and gave me a refund for the bag. I still would have rather had the bag without the defect, and it’s even more of a shame since it was a gift. Overall though, I appreciated that they stood behind their product and refunded a bag that didn’t meet their quality control.

Some of the most incredibly uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn! Staff was not particularly nice or helpful either.

Never would go in alone because I wouldn’t be able to afford much, but mom was in town :)
The help was friendly from the beginning — I didn’t get any of that ‘you’re not good enough to be in here’ vibe.
All shoes in the store are current and Stuart’s latest, except for the sale items which are one season behind — the sale section is verrry minimal, 5 shoes tops.
The shoes here are gorgeous — there is no way to argue this fact. Everything from his heels, flats, boots, even the flip flops — are done elegantly and to perfection. The handbags I could do without, they’re a pretty obvious attempt to jump onto the luxury handbag train without any inspiration in the design.
They have EVERY size — narrow, wide, etc — and if they don’t they’ll find them for you at another store and have them sent to your home, free of charge.

5 stars alone for carrying size 4.5 shoes. You might have to place an order in advance for 4 and 4.5. FINALLY able to buy pumps, flats, sandals…

I was in search for the perfect cute winter boots… something stylish yet warm for the upcoming winter months and my upcoming vacation. And this tiny little shoe store on Madison made me do a little dance of joy…
So the morning started of at 8am at the Saks Post Christmas Sale. (The crowd… the madness… this is why I don’t do sales.) So I found the boots I wanted… the boots I’ve been searching for… and YES THEY WERE ON SALE… with an additional 40% off! Woo-​hoo!
THEY DIDN’T HAVE MY SIZE!!! But can I just say to the big-​fat-​EURO-​TRASH lady with the big beehive hair-​do and heavy make-​up… yelling and cursing at the sales guy because they didn’t have your size is not going to help. And that pleather red coat your wearing makes you look like an over-​the-​hill, well done, cheap, hooker.
SO… went to Stuart. Found the boots… and they had my size!!! They were 40% off… but I was selfish. I thought if I went to Bloomies I would get a better deal. BUT WHAT? Did I hear the salesman correctly? The boots are not on sale? But they’re on sale at Saks and at the SW store?
So… long story short (not really) I went back to the nice lady at Stuart who held my boots for me… and I got them. I left with my pretty purple box in my pretty purple bag… and finished it off with my little happy/​happy, joy/​joy dance.
