Store # 36759 Winter calls for cold and snow in New York and I dislike going the distance for lunch in inclement weather especially with black ice underneath fresh snow. Subway was within proximity and within my limited budget. One six inch turkey and Provolone cheese sandwich $ 4.50 + one bag of chips $ 1.00 was edible to fill the temporary void. Staff are efficient to fulfill orders. It’s Subway… and its franchise, therefore, no further comment ado.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but the staff treated us very unpleasantly. We did show up like 30 min before closing, but there wasn’t a trace of hospitality or service-mindedness there. Not even when I went out of my way to treat them nicely. Will not be going back.

Okay this is only place that P and I can go during our 15 minutes of break time and NYU posts that they offer student discounts. But this place is super shady and will make things up just so they can pretend they have no discounts for students. P and I have been coming here and we haven’t had a problem, perhaps a bit of resistances, but never a real issue. This dude tells me they don’t do student discounts… I advised they did before and he mentioned they have new owners now and I told him I was just here two weeks ago. He’s like oh and then he calls another dude over and the dude asked what did she order and another dude comes over and says no discounts on the 6 inches subs. Okay, I told them — I have ALWAYS got the 6 inches and never a freaking foot long. It’s like really, don’t make up stupid things — if not, why does NYU posts your business up and don’t offer it one day and not the next. SHAAAAAADY!
