Haven’t had a subway sandwich in quite some time. Came here thinking they still have the $ 5 foot longs, but thats a no-more. Footlong sandwiches range from $ 6.25 to $ 8.50. They microwave the foods but EATFRESH. That’s their slogan. This specific location is good, very convenient since it’s close to my job and feeds many workers along the midtown area.

Great and convenient location. Pleasure to deal with and fast service. We order regularly here and have always had a very positive experience.

Went there around 5pm for a foot long sandwich, 2 people in front of me but took forever. The guy in front of the counter could not multi-task. The sandwich was good so it was not a wasted trip.

The last time I went to Subway was when I was still in college. And before senior year. So … it’s been a while. Alex S. enthusiastically convinced me to go with his own astonishing decision to make Subway his third meal(first meal as his own decision) back in America after a year abroad. How can I resist that recommendation? Thankfully, there was a Subway right around the corner, and off I went to an empty store. The two gentlemen working there were very polite in slightly accented English. I hadn’t been to Subway in so long that I didn’t even know that there was a footlong Eggplant Parm option for $ 5 — and a new parmesan and oregano bread. Whaaat? I added olives, spinach(also didn’t know this was an option), tomatoes, cucumber, swiss(no pepper jack there) Chipotle sauce, and sweet onion sauce to mine. For $ 5.44, I’d say this was an excellent meal alone. I ate 6″ for lunch and I’m sharing the other 6″ with my mom for dinner. The eggplant parmesan is disappointingly soggy despite the breaded layers(maybe it’s just not in the toaster oven long enough? Idk … the cheese is certainly melted, and the bread is tasty). It’s definitely not a 5-star meal, but for the price, it’s pretty difficult to beat.

Not a bad Subway location that is kind of hidden away on 29th street right off 7th Ave. Dropped in here after the shock of getting my taxes done close by and needed a bite to eat. Pretty spacious and clean with more tables than most. Counter service is quick. As with all these spots they offer the same sandwich options with all the fixins you desire. Good no-frills option if looking for healthy eats. Been trying to eat a bit cleaner lately to get back in shape. Need to rediscover that six-pack and take it out of the mothballs! Sure, eating healthy in this city can be a hassle sometimes with all the great food everywhere, but at least Subway is around as a consistant option to grab a low fat meal now and then. Nothing fancy but gets the job done.
