Manager

Blake has over 15 years of moving experience. He started as a mover in a local moving company and within short period of time became a crew leader, then a operations manager, sales manager, general manager and in 2005 opened his own international moving company to assist families and professionals move overseas.

Sunset International Shipping provides personal touch and excellent customer service from start to finish. Blake is the general manager and personally involved in all aspects of each move to make sure everything goes as promised.

In the midst of doing some real estate work I was able to refer a buddy of mine who lives in Miami to this company. He was looking to ship some items to Canada to a property he just purchase to become a rental unit. This company says it’s located in NY but they do air shipping out of Florida as well. The rates were very competitive & the moving process when done by plane was extremely fast. Nothing but good things can be said about my experience over the phone & the phone call I received from my client on how please he was with me for setting everything up for him.

Really easy to work with company that helped me ship some items to Australia. Free quotes. By plane is the fastest option, which I chose. Door to door all the way to the other side of the planet! NOTE — Items are charged by weight for plane shipments so the heavier the move is the pricier it will be. By ship is only by how much space the items take up.

I hate moving and have to do it quite often. This last move from NYC to LA was going to be a nightmare. I was already living out in LA and had most of my things in a storage unit in NY. A friend recommend Sunset movers and so far it has been a dream. I could not fly back to NY to meet them so they coordinated with a friend of mine and stayed in touch with me both via phone and text. They went to my storage unit and packed up any loose items in boxes– including my paintings and bikes which they thought needed some extra padding and boxes. They labeled and numbered all the items and sent me a detailed list of everything in their truck (its been almost a year since I’ve seen my belongings so I didn’t even remember half the stuff that was in the storage unit.) Then they made another stop to pick up my table at another friends house and coordinated with that friend directly as well. My friend who met them at the storage until texted me throughout the move how «on it and amazing» the guys were. She has since booked them for her local move she was so impressed.
The cross country trip was supposed to take a week. The driver let me know updates on his progress and arrived 2 days early. It took them no time at all to move my things into my new apartment. Everything is here and accounted for and in perfect condition.
Use these guys. Moving sucks but they make it as easy as it can be.

You can’t make a better choice of a dependable moving company than Sunset International Shipping! Unlike some other companies I’ve heard of when shopping around, they have qualified movers, reasonable prices no hidden charges, safe delivery and excellent customer care. My entire load was delivered promptly, well packed to keep it from any type of damages or moist. I didn’t regret hiring these movers! I’m sure to call them having to move back again in the future!
