History

Established in 1985.

The Susan Sheehan Gallery has been in business for over two decades, specializing in Post-War American prints and works on paper. The gallery is an active member of the Art Dealers Association of America. The gallery was also a founding member of the International Fine Print Dealers Association.

We don’t limit ourselves to any particular artistic movement during the Post-War period, nor do we confine ourselves to exclusively abstract or representational art. Rather, we handle the most important prints by the most influential American artists of the last half-century. As such, we have the finest prints by the luminaries of Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art and Minimalism for sale or preview. While our inventory is always changing, we pride ourselves on our ability to find the best impression of rare prints; so if you don’t see what you’re looking for, please feel free to contact us at your convenience.
