I was a little nervous to see the reviews after I already ordered. Looking at their prepackaged section(who sells cold dumplings and battered tempura?) I decided to go with the chicken Katsu bento box instead. I braced myself for the first bite but to my pleasant surprise, the chicken was tender and well seasoned. The salad was fresh, solid miso soup with a few dumplings a edamame on the side. Not bad for $ 12.95 and grabbing a quick bite!

3.5 stars. Decent lunch place in the area if you’re looking for a cheap, quick sushi fix. Much like other reviewers, I didn’t find the Korean food particularly good. However, sushi is pretty good(especially for the price) and ramen isn’t half bad. I’ve also found the people that work there to be pretty nice as well.

The staffs are really nice, When I went in there was a older lady and a older man working there. The food is quite good for the price. They also have half off on sushi at 5pm though I think you should get the fresh ones. Oh and I went at 6 ish and there isn’t much sushi on display/made but you can deff order fresh sushi, the guy would make it(they’re so nice). I had a eel bento and it was really good hahaha I think they give you more eel then other places. They also have eel with rice and with a dollar or two more why not get the bento?

My coworkers bought lunch here once so I decided to try it. I got a pre-packaged sushi which cost me $ 9.21 but it was stale and disgusting. $ 9.21 for stale sushi? I can get better for less if I just walk down 4 blocks meh. Won’t be coming back here and unless your taste buds are dead you shouldn’t either.

Oh wow, the fish roe sushi box that I got for lunch today is actually really really good. $ 8.5 for the 6-piece box, perfect size for my appetite after gym, replenishing sodium, and coldness makes it easy to digest in the summer. Also, I love the veggie bibimbap here! Not a big fan of the Korean food and Japanese cooked/fried food here, but sushi’s really decent! going to try more specialty sushi box soon. Health rating ==A

This place is the worst. I have been here twice in the two years since I’ve worked in this building, and regretted it both times. I ordered edamame and watched the guy dump a bag of frozen edamame into a pot of boiling water. It came back unsalted and with a really strange odor. Who ever heard of bad edamame? Second, I got some dumplings. Guess they were okay — but on par with your average buffett line dumpling. Kind of soggy with mystery meat inside. DONOTEATHERE!

I work in the building, but I’ll only come here if the weather’s crappy out and/or I dont have enough time to walk around when I have a craving for sushi. Don’t get wrong, the sushi’s not bad at all and it’s always been fresh with friendly service but it’s severely overpriced. For some reason, I always end up spending $ 12 or more for lunch for one of their pre-made sushi boxes which is nothing special. They do have boxes for $ 7 or $ 8 but the portion size is more fitting for the appetite of a Victoria’s Secret supermodel than someone who’s 6 feet 190lbs.

I was wandering for my lunch today, one of those«zombie lunch days» where you find yourself sitting at your desk way past your lunchtime with no motivation to move and get something to eat. I stumbled out and my coworker alerted me to an atrium below the lipstick building. As someone who’s been working in Midtown East for over a year, this was clearly exciting news. She was sorely mistaken however and lead me to 875 Atrium.(Thanks Jenn!) I decided to go downstairs anwyay and I guess the combination of a zombie lunch day stupor and my complete lack of motivation lead me to Sushi Jun. I walked in glanced at the menu and felt the lady behind the register, eyes upon me, judging, waiting for me to order. The pressure mounted and I cracked: «I’ll have a chicken teriyaki please.» I never know why I order this anywhere since I’ve been spoiled by Sarku Japan. My first teriyaki experience was Sarku and anyone who’s eaten at one of those knows that it’s a huge, HUGE difference from how teriyaki is usually prepared anywhere else. Dare I say it, Sarku might not be authentic… b ut it is damn delicious. Anyway I get a rice bowl with chicken and a few pieces of veggies a few minutes later, they’re at least fast here! I took it back to the office and inspected my bounty: chicken strips glazed with teriyaki sauce over rice, with a few pieces of veggies on the side.(raw carrot, raw cucumber, semi cooked broccoli) Can’t say I’m shocked. I dug in and ate, it’s mediocre. The sauce is sweet and the chicken is ok. About midway into the meal I inspected the chicken closely and realized that it’s not even real chicken. It didn’t quite taste like dark meat and didn’t quite look like white meat. It was clearly processed as the texture and appearance of it didn’t match any piece of a natural chicken I’ve ever seen. Minus one star for artificial chicken. Also I will say this for Sarku: they might not be authentic teriyaki, but they do use real sushi! The damage was about $ 8.xx and the bowl wasn’t much food. My first reaction when I pulled it out was«Where’s my miso soup…». I’d skip this if I were you, might come back and try the sushi. They had them laying out and it looked good.

Small family owned sushi/korean food lunch eatery located in the Atrium of 875 Third ave(between 52 and 53rd streets). They are all friendly and the food is neatly prepared, clean and tasty. My faves are the Bibimbop(mixed veggies and rice w/added meat if you want), the Pork dumplings, the sushi, and the udon noodles. I work right upstairs so I find myself eating here quite often!
