Description

Specialties

TPoutine is a fast casual dining restaurant in the Lower East Side, opened by model and Canadian, Thierry Pepin, focused on bringing the beloved Canadian dish of poutine to New Yorkers.

Our menu features the classic poutine, made with crispy French fries, squeaky white cheese curds and homemade gravy, while also offering creative riffs for all flavor palates. With toppings such as ground beef, sautéed mushrooms, and applewood smoked bacon, just to name a few; TPoutine makes it easy to «Pimp Your Fries.» The comfort food-focused menu also includes a selection of Angus Beef Burgers served on Tom Cat Bakery buns, including Buffalo and Turkey burgers, as well as Grilled Cheese sandwiches with creative ingredient fillings. Even an order of regular fries can be customized with any one of seven house-made dipping sauces.

For a sweet finish we make all our ice cream in-house, using it for old fashioned Ice Cream Floats. We also feature weekly specials.

Growing up in rural Quebec I have a deep connection with a few things: hockey and poutine. My career in modeling led to travel all over the world, as well as working with brands such as Ralph Lauren and Belvedere, but I always found that Canadian food was not properly represented here in NYC. Thus the inspiration for TPoutine, which I opened in August of 2009, determined to bring a taste of Canada to New Yorkers. We take our poutine very seriously, shipping in fresh, white cheese curds from Upstate New York and making our own home-made gravy. I can be found at the restaurant on a regular basis so please stop by and introduce yourself. I hope you enjoy your poutine!
