If you read Jeff C.‘s review, I’m the friend. And it’s true, I Didn’t enjoy my burrito.
Got beef burrito with rice and refried beans. Ground beef tasted like hamberger helper… you know the kind that uses perservatives as though they are seasonings…
The rice was standard, nothing much of note either way. The refried beans were surprisingly bland. Like Jeff said, they give you a cheese whiz dollop if you say you want it spicy (except there’s no spice in the cheese…)
The pluses that save it from a 1 star:
The tortilla was pretty good, and it’s a nice touch that they grill the outside of it.
The black beans were MUCH better than the refried from a quick taste of Jeff’s selection.

So I choose the Special Combo Platter ($ 6.50) for lunch where I can pick any 3 (rice, beans (black or refried), beef, chicken, guac, salad) — I chose guac, black beans, and beef. I don’t think she caught on, since she scooped rice twice and didn’t understand until the third foam container. What she really meant was rice + 2 sides I think. Anyway, the guac was fresh, the black beans were awesome, and the beef was good, albeit it was ground up beef. You get a ladle of cheez whiz over your entrée as well as the option for hot sauce. My friend didn’t enjoy his burrito ($ 6) with refried beans as much.
Total came out to $ 6.50 after everything
