History

Established in 1995.

We opened Tavern on Jane with a few bucks and a dream. After 18 years we can say we have accomplished what we set out to do. We have created a restaurant that gives the neighborhood a friend to come visit whenever they are hungry, thirsty or just want to strike up a friendly conversation. We cook a our food to order with an emphasis on freshness. We make all of our dressings and sauces from scratch and try to provide a nice array of standard beers, a thoughtful selection of wines and a large variety of single malt scotches, bourbons and ryes. In a sentence we are a friendly Tavern where the food exceeds most expectations and a smile awaits you at the door.
