Ted Baker London

I was looking for a peacoat, which I eventually bought there, but without the assistance of anybody at the store. I got in the store, which was almost — if not completely, empty, looked for the garment I was interested in but it was hard to get some help for unbuttoning the coat (which was not an easy thing to do and which I did not want to do in a wrong way) and give me suggestions about the size I would need. Eventually it was the doorman who, noticing my baffled look, made the employees notice that. After one week, the store email me and thanked me for the purchase. I had a question about the coat and I emailed them back. Twice. Never got a reply. Too bad, because I like their clothes but I won’t go to that store anymore and if this is how Ted Baker runs their stores, probably I won’t go to a Ted Baker store altogether anymore.

I went to your store at Costa Mesa CA and I bought a pair of tennis shoes. I came back to San Diego and I try them and they were not comfortable so I went to your store in Fashion Valley here in San Diego but the manager said that I need the shoe box that if I did not have it she can not take them back that I have to talk to the manager in Costa Mesa. I start calling Jana in Costa Mesa at 10:30am but after 10 minutes they told me that she was on the phone and she was going to call me when she finished. At 11:45am I called again but she was in a meeting and she was going to call me back when finished. At 2 pm I called again and she was with a customer and the sales person told me she was going to make shore that Jana will call me. At 3:00pm finally she called me and she said that as I did not have the shoe box the only thing that she could do for me is making me drive 2:30 hours from My home in Chula Vista CA to Costs Mesa and reform the tennis shoes there.
I have been a customer of yours for I long long time. I love your purses and in the only store that are super nice is the one at the Ceasar Palace shopping center because the one in Costa Mesa that wants me to drive all the way there that I think that is ridiculous having a store in San Diego that should not happened.
You should do something so people are not treated in this form. I am enclosing you photos of some of my purses that I buy from you so you would know I am a good customer of yours.

THe absolute worse online buying experience. At some point I will elaborate however they put all returns through scrutiny as if a worn shirt is medical grade equipment. avoid.

I went y there for the first time tonight and it was a pretty wonderful experience. They were throwing a special event and as soon as I walked in, I was met not only with an awesome open bar while being able to shop their brand but there was also great food and someone doing shoe shines on site. I can definitely see myself checking out their store again :)

The best Ted Baker store in North America! I have been shopping here for the past 7 years and ask for one person and one person only to take care of me– RALPH!
When Ralph isn’t busy styling Celebs that come in for him, it’s a real treat to have him put together beautiful outfits that are Red Carpet ready.
Stop in and ask for him, he’s really the best.

I bought a $ 125.00 shirt. It was received with white stains on the front and horrible workmanship. To say the least, promises on the website are empty and null.
Don’t waste your money. If you are going to order a high end shirt. I suggest go with a real and more respectable brand like HUGO BOSS. Do Not Waste your time with Ted Baker. The company will make no effort to rectify it’s screw ups within a timely manner.
Ted Baker is not worth the time or value the company is asking of consumers.

There is another bad review on Unilocal — horrible online experience. It seems it might be ok if you order in stores but STAY AWAY FROM TED BAKER ONLINE WEBSITE. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO GET.

This is a great place to shop clothes with pleasure. Friendly and helpful stuff, nice interior and very trendy clothes, actually something more than trendy, they have exclusive style, that’s what I like the most. I know if I need to dress up, for party or any special occasion, I’ve always can find great clothes in this store.

I have been buying Ted Baker suits and sport jackets exclusively for the last two years. I try to hit them up for something whenever there’s a sale as there was today. 20% off everything in the store. Not bad!
The salesman, Kevin, was EXTREMELY accommodating. Helped me try on eight different sport jackets until I settled on the one I wanted. He did not rush me or make me feel like I was inconveniencing him. Yes, it’s all a bit pricey but still an incredibly good value all things considered.
I try to buy a couple of great pieces per quarter, max. Helps me avoid breaking the bank but lets me build my wardrobe with quality pieces while also staying relatively current. Normally I shopped for TB at Bloomingdales but now with three dedicated TB stores in Manhattan there’s no reason to go to Bloomingdales anymore. I love Ted Baker and am extremely grateful this Soho location is so close to my office.

What a phenomenal blunder on my part. Why did it take me so long to go into this excellent men’s fashion floor?
Great colors, shapes, blends, displays. Everything goes together well. They manage to combine textures and colors without going over the top.
The staff is very helpful but they don’t hover and pressure.

Ordered online. They completely ruined my wife’s surprise.
They put the wrong name on the delivery label.
I ticked the «this is a gift» box but they did not include my message.
They included the invoice in the box, which should not have happened with a gift.
Complained and CS said I’d hear in a week but they never got back to me.
Despite emails to the CEO and Customer Service Manager over 2 month period problem still not resolved.
Never received the refund they offered.
Most appalling customer service and I will not be paying their very high prices again for that level of customer service.

If you are looking to instantly spruce up your wardrobe, then come here. It’s the little things in men’s fashion that make all the difference: shoulder buttons, elbow patches, colorful striped /​polka dot socks, wingtip shoes, bold belts, and decorative patterns inside the collars of shirts and pant bottoms. Ted Baker is synonymous with attention to detail and color. Yes, some items are over the top and unnecessary but I think we can all agree the inventory is unique and desperately needed here in the U.S.
If you won’t come here to shop, then at least come by to get some ideas and inspiration for you wardrobe. If you are looking to find a discount on Ted Baker items, you may want to walk over to Bloomingdales; although the selection is more limited, you can take advantage of sales that occur more frequently here.

The BOSTON, MA store i would give 5 + stars especially to helpful staff like ZOE!
The 5TH AVENUE branch of TED BAKER should get NEGATIVE 5 stars if possible.
I was trying to purchase a blazer i saw in Europe but they hadn’t my size and i spotted it the day prior to the end of my holiday.
Got back to Boston and for weeks had been looking. Finally customer service online found me a FEW in 5TH AVENUE, NY.
First of all i rang up and this female person answered in a tone that u could tell she was busy fondling herself or something equally as pressing to her, that i was rudely disturbing. In fact she said,’ i only answered the phone cuz it kept ringing so much but i am in the middle of something so i am putting you on hold. HOLD went on for 43 mins and she never came back.
Obviously i hung up and rang back to which i could hear someone pick up and drop the phone. Every time i did this i could hear a female’s voice in the background before the phone was dropped so i know it was more than likely her or ‘the fondler’ doing this, seeing as they were being disturbed so much!
I used to live in the UK so i know all about Ted Baker and their clothing sizing etc.
This brings me to the person who FINALLY ANSWERED my call… perhaps ‘the fondler’
He was very rude and short with me, even worse than the first person who answered!
He was very condescending when i asked for what i wanted saying, ’ our sizes only go from 1 to 7!!!
Dear DUMBA** I KNOW ALL OF THIS AND DON’T NEED TO BE EDUCATED BY YOU!!! You work in a store for God’s sake… i am a HIGHLY QUALIFIED individual who is a super pro at shopping since it’s mostly what i do outside of work.
He never looked and just said no we don;t have that blazer even though i asked him TWICE again cuz the online person told me they had not just one but a FEW!!!
I then rang up the Boston store a few days later only to have Zoe answer the call and i just have to say she was a BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!!
She took my name and number and the item name and size i wanted and called the ignorant DUMBA**** at 5^th avenue.
And guess what??? THEY HAD THE BLAZER AND IN MY SIZE TOO!!!
HOW SHOCKING!!!
I will be definitely getting in contact with the store manager of 5^th avenue, hoping she was not the same perosn being ‘serviced’ when i was calling to complain as well as TED BAKER in the UK.
Store employees’ job is retail and their aim is to sell as much as possible.
TED BAKER 5TH AVENUE DOES NOT AIM TO DO THIS and serious measures need to be taken there.

Okay, I am giving and update because I did return the iPad case because there was no label that said what iPad it was for… 1, 2, 3, 4. The sticker just said «Smart Cover» and I remembered that Apple iPad 2 fit smart covers, and not any other iPads. A simple sticker clarifying what version of iPads would help with any decision-​making process.
The case was cute (safari theme), which I have as my iPhone screen (Instagram-​ed it). Anyway, I checked Apple’s store policy, when I just purchased an iPad 4, and the awesome specialis Jae Shaw (but he goes by Jamal) at Apple SOHO, clarified that smart covers work for iPad 2, 3, and 4. Apple lists only phone numbers on their card, and no email address, therefore I could not give him a proper hello and thank you. That is his day job, as he is a creative (designer/​photographer) by night.
In any case, please check out my photos. I ended up finding this tres cool wallet for my sister, of high quality, and the perfect number of pockets for my sister. It is smaller than the other two wallets. Check out my photos.
I would definitely shop there again, if the prices came down a bit, and if they didn’t litter their brand on everything. Moderation is key.

I’ve always loved Ted Baker clothes, but can honestly say I will never shop there again and that I encourage others to avoid the place as well.
I was there about 2 weeks ago, hoping to score a few new suits. I found several that I purchased and was very excited to learn from Christian, my sales person, that the hems on my suits would be altered for free and that everything else would be done at 70% off, by a tailor that was right across the street. He also told me they were inexpensive to begin with. I confirmed with Christian that he was sure of the discount on at least 3 occasions.
Sadly, when I got to the tailor I found out Christian had lied to me. He literally made it up. The tailor, who was a great guy (I’m actually going to have them make a suit for my wedding) let me know that there was no truth at all to what Christian had told me. The tailor (while worth every penny) also isn’t inexpensive for alterations by any stretch. Worth every penny, but definitely not inexpensive. They also couldn’t do the alterations while I waited, something else Christian committed to me.
I contacted Ted Baker to let them know and they came back and told me that Christian was letting me know that some suits were on 70% off sale. There’s no plausible truth to that, it was a very specific discussion about suit altering and I verified with him again and again (and again) that the tailor would be 70% off. I recall it was an «Up to 50% off» sale on suits/​shirts at the store.
Cool clothes, craptastic customer service.

Ted’s bags, especially the wallets and cosmetic bags, are to die for; they are a perfect combination of whimsy, elegance, and class. Ted Baker is one of my favorite designers for accessories. My wallet is crying because I just can’t get enough of Ted Baker!

If only I had buckets of money… this store has a beautiful collection of clothes. Well tailored, structured and colorful.

Oh my goodness. The clothes at this shop are so beautiful, incredibly well made, and just quite expensive (but not overpriced, considering the outstanding quality). I cannot walk down Mercer Street without being drawn in by the glorious British allure of some of the most unique and gorgeous clothing and accessories for both men and women I have ever seen.
Also, the staff is amazing. For an upscale shop, they don’t treat you as if you «don’t belong there» or any of that ridiculous SoHo snobbery. In other words, they are experts at sales – but that’s what you want! They even guessed my size perfectly.
And remember, if you see a sign in the windows that is for 50% off, RUN THE OTHER WAY. That way, when you come back the following day to drop some serious loot, you’ll at least feel as if you tried to be responsible.

Gorgeous clothing awaits you here and you can almost always find some sort of sale going on. I’ve bought two dresses here that I know are going to last me a long time as I mature and grow older. Salespeople are very nice and accommodating and don’t make you feel bad if you leave empty handed. Dressing rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean.

I can’t say enough good things about Ted Baker, the clothes, the store, the experience, and especially the staff at the SoHo store. I recently started a new job and was looking to update my wardrobe to a more sleek, contemporary, and dare I say «hip» look. Nick at the SoHo store was especially helpful, and guided me through many different styles and combinations until we got it just right. (The folks at the Meat Packing store also are super-​sweet and very helpful!)
I’m thrilled with the final results and can’t wait to continue to build out my closet with more great items from this super-​awesome line. Worth every penny. Definitely go in for a visit.

actually i love the store and the clothes they have. BUT the sales staff is so very unhelpful and impolite which is why i left the store and did not buy the christmas present for my girlfriend i was planning to buy. I would rate the store with 5 stars with other staff…
