I’ve known the owner from another salon so I follower her to her own salon and it’s been over 10 years u could say she really knows hair and also her employee it warm friendly inviting and also they serve Cuban black coffee. So if you in the area and need some pampering drop in you will not regret it…

My hair wash hurt! The lady scrubbed my head so hard with her long ass nails. She broke my hair trying to comb through it. Literally I could hear the tearing. No professionally trained stylist would do that. She scrubbed my hair as if it hadn’t been washed in years. So freakin unnecessary !!! My scalp is hurting hours later. Another lady used a blower on my hair. And she burned me way more than too much My head hurts. Literally could it be flesh scratched off my head or first degree burns. That was my experience. There was only one other customer. All the workers had rollers or sitting under dryer or some chemical sitting in their hair. I should have turned around and never went in. I hate walking into an establishment and not getting a hello but rather greeted with blank stares.

I drove by the salon today, and saw a sign with a giant barbie doll on it. I needed a hair cut, and I’m a huge barbie fan … so I figured I might as well check it out. Walking in I was very impressed with the way the salon looked. It was clean, colorful, and fun looking! Upbeat Spanish music was playing in the Salon. I came in here expecting to see a bunch of tall white blonde barbie looking girls(I guess because of the name and sign) but it was actually majority, if not all hispanic staff. I felt slightly uncomfortable at first, being that I am caucasian and almost everyone in the salon was hispanic. But regardless everyone I interacted with at the salon was very nice to me, and I quickly felt very comfortable being in the salon. Since they took walk-ins and I decided to get my hair cut. The girl who cut my hair had a very heavy accent, but we still managed to understand each other. She was very nice to me, and told me several times that I was very pretty. Regarsless of if she was telling the truth, or just being nice … every girl likes to be complimented once and awhile … so I enjoyed that. I ended up telling her how to cut my hair by pointing at a picture. I really liked the cut that she did. The way she styled my hair, wasn’t exactly how i’d normally do it myself … but I really appreciated the effort that she put into it. I also got my eyebrows waxed, and she did a fantastic pain free job on them. The prices here were very reasonable. $ 36 for a wash, cut, style, & eyebrow wax. I would recommend this salon to others, ESPECIALLY If you speak spanish!
