Really helpful staff– they carry most of the sizes for kids and babies. Really good selection on sale items– and right on the heart of union sq.

I am a big fan of The Children’s Place for baby and kids clothes. Their clothes have more style, detail and variety than Carter’s or Old Navy baby basics; and they’re more affordable than Gap or Gymboree clothes, especially if you shop the frequent sales. We’ve had good luck with their email list, which alerts us to when it is a good time to stop in.
The Children’s Place in Union Square is also conveniently close to the Union Square playground (in my opinion one of the best, coolest playgrounds in the city), Barnes & Noble (which has a surprisingly good toy selection) and Babies R Us.
