The Renew Anti-Aging Center

The Renew Anti-​Aging center was highly recommended to me by my doctors office. I had no idea what to expect when I arrived, but I cannot begin to tell you how great this place is. Carmel is a breath of fresh air — so friendly, kind, and extremely knowledgeable.
I could tell Carmel genuinely cared about my well-​being, over and above the Tri-​Active Laser treatment she was giving me. She has taken extra time to educate me about healthy living, supplements and products I should consider. I have taken her advice, am now juicing daily, taking natural supplements and feel better than ever!
The facility and the equipment they use are truly best-​in-​class and I’ve found the treatment to be very effective. I thought i was going to visit only 6 times but have seen such great results that I have now been there at least 12 times and plan to continue going.
Aside from just the services I have also purchased Renew products — EXCELLENT.
I have only positive things to say about this place and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for great treatment, by an highly qualified, pleasant and very knowledgeable practitioner.

Decided to check out this center because of a deal I saw go live on GC. I thought that even the discounted voucher price was somewhat of a splurge, but decided to go for it based on the few solid reviews they received. I figured, if their original price is marked up that high, they MUST be good.
So, today was my second session with Carmel and I really cannot say enough good things about her. She is just the friendliest and most cheery Irish woman ever — very refreshing from most of the people you’ll meet in a city like Manhattan. From the getgo, she made me feel very comfortable. And I usually don’t like to strike up conversations while being serviced, but with her, it was easy to talk about anything… and I found myself opening up to her about personal things as well.
Going to Carmel is not just about getting your facial or any other type of service, you’re also getting some of her TLC, wellness/​lifestyle tips, positive vibes, and emotional therapy all in one. At my first session, she even shared some of her green juice with me. She just made me feel very much «at home» and welcomed.
Another aspect I was really impressed by was that she did not upsell any of her products or services. I found myself asking her about the different lotions and creams she was applying to my face, but in the end, she recommended a skincare line to me that they themselves didn’t even carry.
Overall, I could tell she genuinely cared about my well-​being and skin, and her recommendations to me went above and beyond her job as an aesthetician. (Even as an aesthetician, you can tell Carmel invests genuine effort and care into the work that she does.) It’s not easy to find someone you can trust with your skin, but I really feel like I can trust Carmel! She is just lovely, and I NEVER use that word to describe anyone.
Yes, it is a bit of a splurge to schedule an appointment here, but it is SO worth it… especially if you are interested in making a lifestyle change, since Carmel’s advice and encouraging demeanor is very much like that of a mentor.

Words cannot describe how wonderful all of my experiences at Renew Anti-​Aging Center have been! Carmel is not only the most amazing esthetician, but she is also just an incredible person. I first discovered Renew after purchasing a coupon for a facial on Gilt about a year ago. Since then I have not let anyone else touch my face expect Carmel and my skin has look noticeably younger and healthier. My daughter also sees Carmel (she’s a 21 year old who has struggled with acne in the past), and her skin has virtually cleared up. Carmel has pretty much become a member of our family; she takes pride in her work and makes sure my daughter and I are doing okay in between appointments.
To sum it all up, go to Renew and let Carmel work her magic! You will not regret it!

I have been going to Carmel for 5 years now, and will never let anyone else touch my face. I had the paraffin body wrap and it was an amazing experience. The overall treatment was great and I was treated with respect in a very comfortable environment.
I used a Gilt voucher and did not see any difference in the treatment I was given. Highly recommend this place! They are just so sweet and kind!

I felt I was entering an oasis when I stepped into the townhouse office in the upper east side. Greeted by Carmel at the door, I knew I found a safe haven in a stressful NYC.
This «spa» has the most unique and proven effective treatments. They have facials, massages, microcurrent (shock therapy I’ll jokingly call it) but really it can balance your body’s internal electricity and bodily functions. The prices are very high, but this is a case of you get what you pay for and you won’t be disappointed!
Carmel one of the practitioners is amazing, so kind, understanding, knowledgeable about health, fitness, life. She has such a positive aura and energy, calming. I was a nervous little bee when I stepped in yesterday afternoon, and I came out like a new person.
I’ve already committed to being a regular, and highly recommend to anyone who needs a pick me up, a life changing course of action or just a break from the madness!

A client of Alice Hair Care told me (Alice) about this place. I went this week it is so amazing. These two woman are Irish. I forgot how friendly Irish people are. This place was soooo nice down to earth. Mary and Carmel are so professional in all that they have to offer.
I got the Vacuum therapy massage and also left with Glycolic face cream.
I feel so good I will be go back for more.
