This little spot has wonderful little treats! They are a perfect little stop for an afternoon sweet craving! They have the most addicting peanut butter cookies!

Kim is incredible!!! We came from Maryland and missed her last time. This time we made it agenda number one for the day. When we arrived, we were told they were hosting a party so wouldn’t be open. After Kim heard where we were from, she took us out to show us her truck, gave us some pointers and gave us all free sweets! Very impressive. I absolutely wish you continued success!!! Thanks for doing something that you didn’t have to do.

This place was absolutely dead and their shelves completely stocked at 3pm — just a bit too far up Court, I guess. Cheesecake brownie was pretty good, but a tad overpriced for what it was. Was given a new card by the superfriendly guy helping me, who seemed to be on sleeping pills. Big fan of the truck for years, and the proprietor popped her head out of the kitchen to flash a smile.

Ok, so I saw the episode where they were featured on Food Network a couple of times so I finally decided to get my ass there and go. Let me first say the woman at the desk was so nice and helpful, even offered to bake something fresh just for me, so just based on customer service I would return. Regarding the treats. the peanut butter cookie with jelly inside was one of the best peanut butter cookies I’ve ever eaten! I give it a 10! Unfortunately, nothing else I had matched up to it. The macaroni and cheese was very good but the brownie, the chocolate chip cookie, and the kitchen sink rice crispy treat were mediocre. Rice Krispie treat needs more butter and the brownie didn’t have enough chocolate flavor. Maybe they need to add coffee or some kind of fudge or both! Cookie was whatever :/

This is such a great little spot for treats and sandwiches, etc.
Kid friendly (of course!) and adult friendly.
There is a kids’ play area in the back, too.
Everyone is sweet, like the treats sold here.

Three words: Mexican. Hot. Chocolate.
Also, there are some cookies which are tasty and scones and brownies. But, yea, come for the Mexican Hot Chocolate.

I have only tried the lemon square here, but it’s delicious! I can’t wait to try the other treats. The cashier who assisted me was an older lady (Thankfully I didn’t get the one with tattoos that everyone’s been complaining about), she was sweet and amazing! So far, this place seems like an ideal spot for a quiet afternoon brunch and dessert.

I saw this Food Truck on the Travel Channel a few years before I visited NYC. Seeing the Dessert Nachos was love at first sight & I made it a point to find them as soon as I got to NYC! Once I made it to the actual shop I was so disappointed to find out that the owner was at an event with the Treats Truck. (The associate informed me that the owner was the only one with the recipe for that dish) I was literally crushed! But she was super sweet and offered to call the owner to obtain the recipe & just like that I got to try the dish that I had been waiting for! It was fantastic… A definite sugar overload but worth every bite!

Try the regular brownie. Really delish.
The customer service is soooooo AMAZING. They are very considerate and sooo caring. The atmosphere is kid friendly and soo joyful.
My recommandations is to try the regular brownie. Its really chewy and sooooo sweet. The quality is just right.
As for price… Its reasonable.
I will definatly be coming back here.

Geez! What a shame! Get better service!
I should probably know better than to get a meal at a“treats” shop but we were hungry and this place had good reviews.
You have to order and pay at the register and then wait for your meal to be ready. From the start, the cashier couldn’t even be bothered by the people waiting or that we had questions about the menu. We went back and forth a bit with what we wanted so I asked him to confirm the final order and he just walks away from me. WTF?!?
We both got the egg sandwich with an order of bacon. Now I’m not cheap but when I pay $ 2 extra for bacon per sandwich, I’m hoping to actually get a few pieces of bacon. The sandwiches were weak not really sure they even had egg in them (check out the photos) and if it wasn’t for the extra large bottle of Chalula hot sauce to add some flavor, I might have asked for my money back.
The coffee was another thing… we didn’t get it until out meal was brought out to us — after 10 min. Also the server/​cashier never came around to refill our cups like he said he would. I had to take our cups and practically do it myself.
The only reason they are getting 2 stars and not 1 is because of their desserts and ambiance. The place is really cute and cheery. The desserts were lovely. Almost got a whoopie pie to go… but then I would have had to deal with the cashier again — not worth it!
Such a shame too… I really wanted to like this place.

Came in here for a quick stop for some sweetness. Wasn’t sure what I was expecting exactly, but their menu was very varied, so I thought there would be a bigger display case. There wasn’t much. It was quite small. And not full, which always looks more appealing than something kind of… half full, borderline quiet and empty. But maybe summer weekends in the area are quiet in general, so there’s no need to bake up a storm constantly.
It’s a small space when you walk in– to the right is a small seating area, and a counter bar stool set up, to order food and snacks and linger a bit. On the left is a shelf promoting other businesses as well as their baking book. It was fun for me to look at. Apparently there is another area, that you don’t notice immediately, based on other Unilocal reviews.
They do have a $ 5 min for credit charges, but that’s easy to get actually. I got two cupcakes and a sandwich cookie with chocolate filling and that came out to $ 5.75.
The cupcakes look similar to cupcakes fro the Sprinkles chain– nothing really fancy, chocolate with chocolate frosting and a tiny splatter of sprinkles near the center. But it’s almost charming, in its simplistic manner. When I first started eating this, I nibbled at the frosting. Sweet, not exactly buttercream, but close to it, or maybe I’m just way off on my analysis. Then I took an actual bite, chewed, swallowed, and wow! I was impressed. Very sweet, very moist, and the aftertaste lingers, as if you kind of want to prolong it it and chew slower… but damn, is that hard. You definitely want a class of milk or water to wash that baby down, because it is sweet! Way better flavor, than a bigger chain like Crumbs. Almost dry, no flavor, like a Betty Crocker mix. I’d eat those cupcakes, but never enjoy it in the capacity that I enjoyed this one. I would 100% come back for those cupcakes alone!!! There aren’t a lot of varieties and flavors, since it’s not purely a cupcake joint, so if you want something fancier, this isn’t your place. Chocolate and vanilla batter, with respective chocolate and vanilla frosting.
Lastly, I had a chocolate sandwich cookie with chocolate filling (not sure what it’s called exactly), but this wasn’t anything memorable. Cookie was semi-​hard, not because it was stale, but it’s just the type of cookie. I always prefer soft and chewy cookies. The filling didn’t add extra flavor or any sort of dimension to the dessert. It’s definitely good quality, not something you can get at a grocery store, but it’s the type of cookie that I don’t exactly savor. I would take a bite, then pop it in my mouth and forget I even ate it. Or I eat it because it’s there… and yeah, I’m that type of girl for sure. For me, the cupcakes bring a smile, and because of that, I would be open to trying new things from here.
And of course, the customer service was friendly. Not overwhelming chatty, in that annoying «Shut the fuck up lady and just take my order» way, but a calm mannered service, patient, not rushing anyone. I liked it. A very good vibe.

Had lunch there and resisted temptation and got a salad. It was served in a big bowl which i loved. It was really good. Got an iced coffee that was great as well. I have had their macaroons before and they are awesome.

Also featured on the Food Network I went in for a taste test. I wanted to grab the dessert nachos but apparently those need to be ordered in advance. When I asked the less-​than-​enthusiastic-​cashier for the cupcake cone, that too wasn’t available. As for the chocolate trucker, she had to go into the back to see if they had one. So basically they were out of everything they are known for.
–Chocolate Trucker: Pretty hard. It’s like an Oreo except the frosting insides are even more sugary and like icing – this is sweet – like painfully so and I never think that.
–Butterscotch Brownie: don’t really like butterscotch but this is good. Very moist and has a good butterscotch taste which normally isn’t the case. Not overwhelming. The pecans add a nice crunchiness to the brownie. Definitely the best pick.
–Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookie: I swear they use the same PB cookie recipe I do. So of course the PB cookies are good but honestly two of them at once is too much. I felt sick after eating this. Especially when you have a layer of PB in the middle.
FINAL VERDICT: I NEVER think things are too sugary – in fact I can never get enough sugar – or so I thought. Everything here was just too much. I got sick and thought I was going to throw up – but actually and that NEVER happens.

Get anything with peanut butter in it! Especially try the rice krispy treat with the confetti sprinkles, chocolate chips, m&ms, pretzels, etc.
Service is super cool and friendly too!
If you have a sweet tooth, this place should definitely be on your rotation

We’ve only tried the hot chocolate, which I suppose is like going to Lucali’s and ordering only a salad. I didn’t enjoy it because it was far too sweet, like vaguely chocolate flavored treacle. The $ 3 and up cupcakes, cookies and brownies looked better, and probably made the original truck’s reputation.

My sister in law organized a birthday party for my niece here last weekend, and I have to say that I was impressed by this place.
Located in Carroll Gardens, but maybe on the border of the gentrified area, Treats Truck delivered a great time for all. The staff was really helpful and attentive, even with a handful of 5 year old’s. They’ve cleverly segregated a «party space» in the back so that one can host a private event which doesn’t infringe on normal patrons.
Plenty of snacks, sweets and other goodies.
All in all, well done, Treats Truck, you did a great job in my book.

Liked: Great service, cute place, nice about letting us sample the desserts.
Disliked: Was expecting superb desserts. They were solid, but not as amazing as I had hoped. The sandwich was better than expected.
Chicken: Don’t remember.
Would mom like it?: Mom would eat a bunch of the free samples, then claim she was too full to order anything.
Would I go back: Yes!
Recommend: Leaving a note on the cool bathroom wall.

I mean, all desserts are good BUT so far, I’ve not been blown away. Got the kitchen sink rice crispie treat and then cream cheese brownie slice. We thought they were both only OK. I mean, if you are in the mood for a treat, it’s a treat, for sure. But not a «OH MY GOD GO GET IT NOW SO DELICIOUS YUM MORE PLEASE K THX» kind of treat… just my opinion.
Will this stop me from trying other things? Probably not… stay tuned for hopefully positive updated review :)

The Treats Truck Stop is the first brick and mortar location for the hugely popular dessert truck. When I went they were barely open a week so there were some things they were still working out (such as taking credit cards, designing a brunch menu, and making decisions on what to do with their backyard). If you go down the narrow hallway on the side of the shop it leads you to a cute seating area, a huge window looking into the kitchen, and a door to the currently unused backyard. The owner (Kim Ima) was there and was incredibly kind and welcoming. She had free samples of several of her goodies by the register and even cut me off a fresh brownie bite without me asking. I bought an apple crumb bar which was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other treats.

Definitely have to follow this truck! Once again, I definitely have to follow this truck! Mexican Chocolate brownie? oh yeah baby! Rich, chocolatey awesomeness. And I get my choice of middle or edge… you know what I chose, right? Cookies, cakes, crispy squares, bars… pick your poison.
