Established in 2015.

The Vet Set was created to offer the easiest way for pet parents to receive the best veterinary care for their dogs and cats with the least amount of stress possible. We deliver the best veterinarians to your home, office, or hotel and truly care about the health of your pet. We give complete estimates avoiding the shock of a large bill. We provide compassionate veterinary care where you need it, when you need it.

Business Owner

Dr. Taylor Truitt graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 and then completed a year long internship in Los Angeles prior to going into private practice. Dr. Taylor believes in the power of preventative medicine to keeping our pets healthy and happy. She’s a certified veterinary acupuncturist, and she loves taking care of our older pet family members. While receiving her MBA at UC Berkeley Haas Dr. Taylor noted that quality veterinary medicine should be less stressful for pets and their owners. It was then she started developing The Vet Set to keep pets at home while receiving the best care possible. Dr. Taylor is the recipient of the 2016 Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine Young Alumnus Award.

Our pup got bit in the park and needed immediate attention. Dr. Taylor came right over with enough supplies to setup a mini hospital in our living room! Luckily, it wasn’t nearly as bad as we thought, but Dr. Taylor was extremely thorough and professional. She even went an extra step further and answered a ton of unrelated questions. Will absolutely be using them again.

Really fantastic experience so far with Dr Eva and Michelle. I purchased the new puppy package and both pup and I have been guided through the process of shots, microchips etc with ease and clarity. They kindly dropped off medication at my office when my dog was sick and are flexible with evening and weekend visits.

I have been looking for a kind, caring, professional, responsive house call vet for 17 years and I finally found one in Dr, Taylor Truitt and her technician Michelle. They were so gentle with my 17 year old Lucy who has bad knees, severe arthritis, a recurring UTI and an as yet to be diagnosed mass on her back. I am so grateful to have found them and I look forward to working with them for many years to come. The Vet Set truly CARES about your animals!!!

The Vet Set is the best thing ever! My cat gets scared traveling in cars and on the subway. All the noise on the busy streets of New York scare him too. It is so nice to have a vet who will come to my home to visit my cat where he is most comfortable. Its so convenient and the vets are terrific! Do your schedule and your pet a favor and choose the Vet Set! You’ll be glad you did.

Hands down — the best vet «visit» we’ve ever had. Not only did we completely avoid the whole «clinic scent and other sick animals freak my dog out» situation, but Dr Taylor & Michelle were so nice when they came, our dog instantly loved them and ran into their arms.
Now, I could go on & on about how professional, punctual, respectful, thorough, and organized (wait until you see the online portal they have) these guys are… But the best part, by far, was that unlike «normal vets» where you get to talk to the doctor for 10 – 15 mins at best and spend the rest of the time waiting, Dr Taylor will stay as long as you need. It seemed like the doc would not leave before she made sure we fully understood everything we needed to… She must’ve spent close to an hour going over every little detail with us.
Can’t thank you guys enough. I’m sure we’ll be seeing you again!

I cannot say enough good things about The Vet Set. My cat had a UTI the day before I was supposed to leave at 6am for the Christmas holidays. They came to my apartment at 8pm the day before, helped me wrangle my cat (he’s pretty shy of strangers), administered fluids and pain meds and continued to check in with me over the next several days. A follow-​up urinalysis was done to make sure that there were no crystals, etc. Recommendations on food, behavior modification, etc. were provided in a caring and thoughtful way.
They have also continued to check in periodically to make sure my cat Howdy is on the mend. I have never experienced a greater level of care and compassion for my cat than I received from The Vet Set. Dr. Eva and Dr. Taylor genuinely care and that is evident in the care they provide to their patients as well as their patients’ owners.

I met Eva & Taylor at the Best Friend’s Super Adoption event last week. I explained how terrifying my pup gets going to the vet so much so that we can’t even walk near the Vets Office. Since Melou was coming to the event the next day, they offered to provide a check up, draw blood for a Titer and Heartworm tests plus his 3yr Rabies shot. While Melou was not happy he was much more relaxed and did not shake or try to leave.
And I love VETS who want and are willing to conduct Titer Tests vs over vaccinating. They understood and respected my decision.
The icing on the cake was, they were really gentle and sweet with Melou.
I highly recommend the VET SET.

I’ve told all of my pet owning friends, family members and neighbors about The Vet Set simply because Dr. Eva and Dr. Taylor Rock! Going to the vet with my dog Miles has always been a big hassle and causes much anxiety for him and I both. This service is a dream come true. Miles and I can enjoy the comfort of our home during all vet visits — it’s amazing! I must admit, I’m a bit particular with how people interact and handle my dog, but the doctors at The Vet Set are phenomenal with him. The professionalism, knowledge, as well as their genuine love and passion for animals gives me great peace of mind. If I ever have a question or concern, The Vet Set team is only a phone call away and they always get back to me in a timely manner. It’s so nice and such a relief to have found this service and I’m extremely pleased with both Dr. Eva and Taylor. I would highly recommend to all!

While in Marin, I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Radke. My dog had severe fear-​based behavioral problems and somehow Dr Radke was able to work her magic and make her feel comfortable. In her old age, my pooch had a host of problems and Dr Radke always provided thorough options, and the detailed financial implications. I trust her implicitly — so much so, that my extended family all began to use Dr Radke as well.

My cat hates going to the vet! Every time I try to even get her into the carrier, it’s a 15 minute process! It pains me to see her in that much distress and the thought of having a vet come to us was so much more attractive. I wasn’t sure how it would work, but when I got in touch with The Vet Set, they were SO nice and helpful. They were able to come over to my apartment on such short notice, too, which I really appreciated as I was going to be heading out of town soon after.
Eva and Michelle were super professional and great with my kitty. So many vets these days seem like they are on the clock and just want to rush through the check up to get through all their patients. Eva and Michelle took their time and waited to gain some trust from my cat before they started the exam. They also were able to get back to me within 24 hours to let me know the results from the lab work, which was amazing. The process was overall so much easier and less stressful than going to a vet’s office. I would definitely recommend it, especially if your pet hates going to the vets office as much as mine!

My cat Petey and I are so happy that Dr. Eva moved to Brooklyn and is now our new vet! Petey has a history of urinary «issues» that can be triggered by stress and I am always reluctant to take him to the vet because I don’t want to cause him any more stress. He has been doing well recently, but was due for his annual general check up. Dr. Eva was so good with him! She was warm and obviously truly loves animals. I feel very confident in her care moving forward.

This service is a godsend. We have a giant pit bull and finding transportation to take her into the vet was a huge hassle. Like most dogs at the vet, her usually calm and even temperament melted away as she transformed into an anxious mess in the strange office. No longer!
The Vet Set teams visit to our home was wonderful. They were kind, quick, and professional and our pitty couldn’t have been happier to have such wonderful guests while she received her exam and vaccines right in her own home. A+ service! I’ll definitely be using them again.

I could not be happier with Dr. Eva’s care of my dog Montana. Montana is a rescue and can be pretty shy around new people. She also hates going to the vet and so was perfectly happy to have her new vet come to the house! Dr. Eva has a very sweet and gentle way about her that made Montana feel at ease right away. She sat on the floor with her and fed her treats throughout her entire exam. Her tech Michelle was also very sweet and helpful. I’m pretty sure Montana thought the whole experience was just a big play date with a new friend! Dr. Eva is intelligent, competent and compassionate. It is obvious that she truly wants what is best for my dog. I would highly recommend her and The Vet Set!”

Dr. Eva is wonderful. She is patient and understanding and always gives us the best advice. With three babies in the house (one-​year old twins and our dog Charlie), our lives have become quite busy, so having our vet come to us is truly amazing. And not to mention way more relaxing for everyone involved. Charlie thinks Dr. Eva is just the best and is always so excited when she comes over to see him. We recently went through a difficult period with Charlie… he became very anxious, destructive and even became somewhat aggressive with our son. Eva was the first person I called to talk to about Charlie and she immediately came up with a plan that was both reasonable and comfortable for our family. Charlie is doing much better now! I have confidence that Dr. Eva treats our dog with the same love and care that she treats her own.

I’m a professional bulldog babysitter (English & French) and use The Vet Set as my regular in-​home veterinarians. They are prompt, extremely knowledgable, and my dogs are always happy to see them — especially since I don’t have to hire an expensive pet taxi to go to the scary vet’s office. My dogs get to stay in the comfort of their own home with their own toys while Dr. Taylor and Dr. Eva do their thing. I’ve had my bullies treated for leg injuries, tummy aches, and more serious ailments all without leaving the house. I highly recommend them for dogs (or cats) and they even visit your office if you work at a pet-​friendly company.
