It’s so cute!!! Of course it’s for tourists! Nothing is too overpriced & all the vendors were super nice! If your in the area, take a stroll through! I bought some souvenirs & a few little gifts for friends & family!

I’ve walked through here a number of times and thought it was a little on the cheesy side. Plenty of flea market type items to choose from, but I guess I’m walking through not in the mood fof. or an impulse buy.

Unless you’re looking for a scratchy scarf or hat in 1,000 different colors, 50 of the exact same plastic phone cases, cheap jewelry or a dress that’s made out of thin whatever dresses are made out of, then this is not really a place for you. It’s a tourist trap with tons of crappy lighting and pushy people in booths. Not my cup of tea.

Situation: I pass by here every now and then to see what they have. Most recently I bought a matching set of Venetian glass pendants as a gift($ 6 total, or $ 3 each!). PROS –A massive variety of cheap and cute trinkets! Keep in mind that for places like this, you generally get what you pay for, so the quality will be in line with the price point. Most vendors sell items you would likely find in places like Chinatown e.g. costume jewelry, clothing, bags, toys. Be selective to get the most bang for your buck! –At night, the court is quite picturesque when it’s all lit up. Perhaps a nice place to stroll with company in the evening? CONS –For the vendors selling clothes, don’t expect to be able to try them on– no fitting rooms, obviously! –Similarly, each vendor gets only a tiny space allotted to them, so don’t be surprised if they’re breathing down your neck while you browse. In a nutshell… If you find yourself on 8th Ave and have a couple minutes to burn and/or need to get a small gift really fast, it might be worth stopping by to see what they have. An impulse buy or two here won’t kill you.
