I went to Dr. Behm in a panic because the last dentist I had gone to had told me that I was in desparate need of $ 10,000.00 worth of work. This other dentist claimed that I needed two root canals, two crowns, and the replacement of every silver filling I had. I went to Dr. Behm on the reccomendation of my doctor (they had gone to undergrad together) and he was very honest and said, yes, you will need all of your fillings replaced, but you don’t need them now. He said, you have one filling that has already degraded to the point that you are endangering that tooth, but if you don’t want to go the root canal/​crown route at this point, we can absolutely replace your silver filling with more amalgam. Now, many dentists would not offer this option because it’s only a temporary fix, but he gave ME all the options so that I could choose based on my ability to afford the work and willingness to get major intervention. I’m 41 and still haven’t had a root canal and hope to avoid it for as long as possible. He did fix a broken tooth with a porcelain overlay and I replaced another silver amalgam fililng with porcelain out of my own pocket. Very happy with all the work I’ve had done here.

Excellent dentist! He’s very detailed-​oriented and does beautiful work with the best materials. I trust him because he volunteers all the information you need to make a decision. The office staff is very nice too and they take care of everything insurance-​related, which is great help. As a mini cute bonus, I find it cool that they play a classic rock radio station all day. Interesting choice for a dental office!
