Stopped by Tiny Portraits after the initial appt we had with our doctor at Presbyterian was canceled without the girlfriend and I knowing. We went to Tiny Portraits and we were glad we did. There was a couple before us but the wait was not long at all. We got to see and hear the baby’s heartbeat which was amazing. Baby was being a little stubborn not wanting to open it’s legs but it was nice seeing and hearing it. We have another appt on Friday to see if maybe it would open up this time to see the sex as well as for the pictures of the sonogram. Tiny Portraits also sell teddy bears that with a small recording device can have the babies heartbeat. We definitely took that teddy home. Can’t wait to go back to find out the sex.

My husband and I were very satisfied with our experience with my first pregnancy here. They gave me an appointment for the same day something I appreciated so much since I was desperate to find out the gender. The girl technician was very professional and gave me a very accurate results. For the price of the package it is wonderfuly worth it. It was the uptown location, a very clean and welcoming place. Will be back very soon for my second pregnancy.

RUN FAR AWAY FROM TINY PORTRAITS!!! I booked and paid online with Tiny Portraits for a gender reveal package. They said the appt was pending, not confirmed. After at least a week I contacted them as to why they hadn’t confirmed. Turns out they are «short staffed» and they expected me to go to their Harlem office (instead of Midtown where I booked it). No thanks! Their midtown offices are apparently only open for a few hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays now.
The girl on the phone told me I’d have a refund in a few days. Over a month later and after having to dispute the charge with my CC company, I finally got a refund. This company is a scam. I’ve also read other negative reviews so beware. There are more reputable places in Manhattan to go for gender or 3d/​4d scans.

Going along with Heriberto’s review– my experience there as the mother was horrible! We drove all the way from Connecticut to be seen in this hot uncomfortable place with a ghetto technician who according to the unpleasant follow up from their «customer service team» was new all that time! During the sonogram, she kept shaking my stomach to make the baby move! Then asks me to turn towards the wall to reveal the gender of our baby to our family members, after being instructed not to (all this while the father was instructed to purchase OJ so the baby could move). After tiny portraits noticed our reviews they immediately contacted me and not the father– the one who paid for all this and wrote the review! «Customer service» states the following: «the technician had a whole different story, shes new, i will contact the owner» a few days later i called to follow up. The owner offered the same package!!! ONLY if we were to take the reviews down and he was not to give us the money back as a result of the review written by Heriberto! It has been a month and four days, no follow up at all. Overall, mothers, caregivers– please DONT WASTE your time in this place! Save yourself the stress and unbearable experience!
