I was a former Model that even had my picture on the homepage. Syrah Scott cannot be trusted.
After she encouraged me to spend money to build my portfolio with her friends «photographers». She proceeded to book me for non paying gigs.
Then after i reached out to her and OFFERED HER a paying gig that offered 300 $ a day, for 3 days thru one of my connections, she agreed, booked it, and the model never showed because the commute from NYC to Philly was too far, apparently Syrah did not mention that until the day, which damaged my reputation.
Then, she told me I had a payed gig to socialize at a prestigious Gucci Party at Fashion week and asked if I knew any other models that would like to join. I invited a veteran model friend of mine and when we got there, THEY HANDED US A TRAY AND HAD US SERVING DRINKS ALL NIGHT!
To make matters worse, he and I never got paid for it! Since then she has ignored my calls, and when I called from another number, she hung up the moment she realized who it was.
Its people like Syrah that made me leave the industry.
