Absolutely my favorite pizza outside of Lombardi’s. I wish they would open one closer to my home

Ordered through seamless and i already expect the delivery time to be 75 minutes since the delivery estimate was stated before ordering. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes later no pizza in sight so i gave them a call and the guy said there was no order for it. I was transferred to a manager then they realized my order was automatically confirmed in their system so they didn’t even see it and he promised to get me my pizza in 30 minutes. When it finally did come, the pizza appeared a little burnt and did not taste as good as the other time I ordered delivery. We had the medium cleopatra jones pizza. It didn’t taste great like how it normally is. Maybe they were rushing to make it so it was not as good. Disappointed on this order

We’ve loved Two Boots in-store in NYC(this location) and LA many times, we tried delivery on Grubhub last night. First, they totally got one of the pies wrong and they had to send out another one(that’s fine, if either pie was even edible upon delivery). Unfortunately, the quality the pizzas when delivered was appalling overall. They were so soggy and disgusting, drowned in puddles of fat. When you tried to tear off a slice, the pizza simply disintegrated into a pile of pizza goo. We felt sick after a few«slices» aka pizza goo and threw away $ 55 of Two Boots pizza slop. What a waste of food and money. So sad, never again. So so gross, I doubt I can even visit in person again :(

I really love their vegan pizza! So delicious. I’m giving them 4 stars though, because I had a ridiculously long wait last time I was there. I ordered pick up for two small pies and it said it would take them 20 minutes. I ended up waiting over an hour in the shop, which was absolutely ridiculous. The reason I’m giving them 4 stars and not 2 is because the man there was extremely apologetic. He explained the situation and gave me free cookies and a free soda. The only down side to that is that their cookies aren’t vegan so I couldn’t eat them, but it’s the thought that counts, right? But he said that there was a huge order that was made right before mine, so that’s why it was taking so long. It was a disappointing experience, but I still love them and will continue to go there because they were so nice and their pizza is bomb!

The slices were huge, the prices were cheap. However it was very oily, I must’ve dabbed with over 8 of those napkins and each one was soaked through. There’s no waiter service, so if you need water you’ll have to get up and ask the man behind the counter to fill your tiny plastic cup. With pizza you at least need bigger water glasses, would it kill them to have real cups? Anyway, the pizza was good and the slices are about as big as your head.

Don’t order from here, they are unprofessional and very slow when it comes to delivery. We have ordered from them twice and both times it has taken them an hour and a half to get us out food. I figured the first time was just an anomaly but it’s not, it’s just how they operate. Now this second time we ordered three items and after waiting an hour and a half for our food they forgot one of the items. I called back to let them know and the woman that answered the phone laughed when I said they forgot part of our order. It’s very sad that they don’t care how long it takes for their customers to get their food or if they even get the order right.

They got gluten free pizza by slice and gluten free Pilsner! They are mindful about their ingredients and try to source local!

Late night ro regular dinner, gotta have a good pizza place around. They have tons of options from pizzas(ALSOGF), great and HUGE garlic knots which are always a plus, subs and entrees. Nothing to be in awe about but I would definitley go back. Slices are big and cheesy, what else do you really need in pizza? And if you’re with a group they have cozy cornered booths

Not for me. I prefer my table not to be covered in sawdust after eating a slice of pizza. Added an extra star for the pizza pie names.

Oh, how a nice pizza restaurant goes downhill fast… first, from another review: «I liked the cornmeal in the crust but you could tell they heated the pizza 2 or 3x in the oven.» Well, this was to be my second point, but the time I ordered three slices rather than my usual one or two, one of the slices was removed from a refrigerated unit before placing in the oven – NOTE: ONCEREFRIGERATED, PIZZAISCONSIDERED ‘DAYOLD’ – I hid my dismay, and hoped that they would consider to heat this slice more than the others, but nope… so when I bit into the icy heart of this slice, I decided ‘no more Two Boots’…alas, I am one for second chances, so… Did they think the vegans wouldn’t notice that the new ‘Vegan Tony Clifton’ is just the old ‘V for Vegan’ without artichoke hearts? Because it’s pretty obvious, especially since there is no more V for Vegan. Less product, same price – at least, however, truly American. I will also note that the Mother Earth slice that had been advertised for years as ‘no cheese’ actually had cheese in the sauce(‘just a little’ said the guy at Bleecker Street… yep, just a little cheese in the no-cheese…). Nice people, though!

Great vegan slices, nice employees, clean bathroom(don’t let the door slam on your finger, though). I miss the dvd rentals, although I usually returned them stoner-late, so perhaps best. Rollerblade friendly, natch…

We recently moved to the neighborhood and I decided to order from here because it was the first high rated place I found that had pizza and chicken parm Heroes. Not only that but someone I know highly recommended this place to me a month ago and said that this was the place they ordered from all the time. I placed an order at about 7:50pm and was given an estimate that my large cheese pizza and chicken parm hero would arrive 8:55 — 9:05pm. At 9:10pm, I called them up because my food still hadn’t arrived. I was put on hold for several minutes and then transferred to someone else who told me that my food just came out of the oven and that they were waiting for the delivery guy to come back and take it. Sureeeee… At 9:45pm, sure enough, I called again because I still didn’t have my food. So if my food was out of the oven at 9:10, my food has been sitting there for another 25 min getting cold and soggy? I was told it wouldn’t be cold and soggy or I should have it within 5 min. Sure enough they finally arrived within the 5 min that they said. I was surprised at how small the large pizza and the chicken parm hero both were. The hero was about 25% smaller than most places and the large pizza looked about the same size as a medium that most are. The chicken parm was very good but it was hard to eat the pizza because some parts of the pizza were doused in dried oregano to the point where you couldn’t enjoy it. I liked the cornmeal in the crust but you could tell they heated the pizza 2 or 3x in the oven. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Favorite pizza by the slice in NYC. Pricey, but it’s worth it. Loses a star because they got rid of the video rentals. Pizza and a movie was the best.

Not a complaint about the service, timeliness, or size. But I just have to say that there is something very off-putting and strange-tasting about their sauce. It’s like a smoky taste or some kind of weird herb that I’m not used to. Not a fan.

I absolutely love two boots this village location was the first one I went to about 18 years ago I have been a religious customer ever since. All of the different flavor combinations are great but I’m consistent with one slice of the Newman and one slice of the cleopatra jones. They use cornmeal to roll their crust on that gives it a nice toasty flavor and a great crunch. My only issue with two boots is that sometimes the slices are cut uneven and you end up with a smallish slice and for about 4.75 really isn’t acceptable. Beside that the staff is great and knows me by sight and always friendly even when busy.

Ordered delivery through Eat24. Order estimate was an hour and it took almost two. When I called to confirm my order, the staff yelled at me and insisted that I’d called multiple times(I hadn’t). I recommend avoiding delivery from here.

My personal pop culture pizzeria! From the aptly named pizza slices, to the ever so indie music selection, to the hipster stylings of the employee base, to the brick laden mural to Loisaida, I love this place! It doesn’t hurt that it’s conveniently located right near my lazy ass and that the pizza is delicious! A little on the pricey side(roughly $ 4 a slice), so not a place I frequent too, too often. However, definitely great for comfort food after a tough day of work or a wedding that went from awkwardly tolerable to utterly traumatic. True hipsters beware: IT’S A CHAIN!!!

A little overpriced, but the pizza was pretty good! Perhaps a little too much black pepper cooked in, which overpowered the other flavors. The«line» for ordering(if you could call it that) was nebulous and unclear. Things definitely happen at a slower pace here — I suppose it’s a little slice of the South!

Arrived on a late Saturday night with a friend, and was really pleased with my experience. I got 1 slice of the Newman, a delicious mix of soppresata(like salami) and crumbled italian sausage on a white pie. I was impressed with the cheesiness, the flavor of the meats, without anything being too salty, chewy, or dry. The pizza slices were ready in just a few minutes, and there was ample seating. They were playing Edward Scissorhands on their TV, and there was steady traffic from the local bars. Each slice will run you about $ 4, but they are large and flavorful. Will return to try the Bayou Beast, with shrimp, crawfish, andouille sausage and jalapenos!

I’ve been a fan of Two Boots East Village for many years now. This four star review is really only reflective of my favorite slice, the Earth Mother. The wheat crust is thick and crispy on the outside while being softer on the inside. The sauce and all of the veggies it’s topped with are so good. I rarely ever come here for a plain slice, so I can’t speak to that flavor but the Earth Mother is a veggie lovers dream that I highly recommend.

I’ve lived in this area my entire life and have been eating pizza here forever. The pizza is dope, there’s no question about it. There are monthly specials, and the staples never disappoint. You can usually get a seat, and the seasonal art is wacky and beautiful, much like the east village itself. The only sad part is that nowadays one slice is $ 2.80. I get it, the east village is now super bourgeoise, and the rent is too damn high. While I don’t think that any single slice of plain pizza is worth $ 3, I will continue my patronage of two boots because I love this place and I want this particular location to stay in business.

Great place for drunk pizza that will close at 2AM. For vegan pizza, it’s pretty good and I’m not just saying that cause I ate it drunk. Thin crust pizza with crispy texture and vegan cheese that may keep your mind wandering. I had the pizza called The Newman which was one of the few pizzas that were non-vegan cause of the small portions of ground pork and thin slice of pepperoni. I love how gooey the cheese is when it comes out of the oven. Pretty good place to end the night. I love New York Pizza and this is one of the many places to eat em’!

This was my first visit ever to a Two Boots and it was fine. nothing to write home about. The good news is their beer prices are super reasonable. Also, there’s no denying that the décor is cute and fun and the place is usually buzzing at all hours. The pizza… well…we went with an 18 inch with one topping… it was just okay. I’m not a fan of their pizza style. I’d be interested to try some of their sandwiches or specialty pizza slices to see how those compare to their basic pizza.

Vegan review. I brought my boyfriend here as it’s one of the few pay-by-the-slice casual places that serves both omnis and vegans. My boyfriend was very pleased with his pizza. Mine was pretty good, but I wasn’t blown away. I had the Mother Earth(or something like that) pizza. I was hoping to try the«V for Vegan,» but they didn’t have it that night. I was in the mood for a thin crust, and this was pretty thick(maybe a pan crust). I will have to go back to try the V for Vegan! The boy loved his slice, though, so… major success for allowing us to have pizza together!
