I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Do not waste your time or money with the other service in midtown. They charge an absurd amount to do something that Julia was able to do for half the price. She’s very professional, keeps you updated, and has a lot of experience doing what she does. She saved my career! Thank you Julia!

I needed passport photos, and I went to US Passport Express because they were close by. It took about 10 minutes, and although the photos were rather low contrast, they seemed ok (2 photos for $ 12). Later, upon closer inspection I noticed that my head was too large (it was over 1 ½″ and the limit is 1 3/​8″). So I went back and not only did the woman there (who took the picture the day before) refuse to redo the picture, but went further to say that the only restriction is that it’s a 2″ square. The passport forms are *really* clear about the size restrictions of the head in the picture, so I was pretty surprised she didn’t know what she was talking about, given this is her job. If they are sloppy about this, I expect it’s the same for everything. I did see 2 people pick up their passports here while I was waiting, so the place seems legit. But at the same time, they left early one day and weren’t around for a bit when I arrived the next day. So I suggest to stay away. I expect there are better places that will be more careful. Plus, with the official gov’t US passport office right across town, why bother with them?
