I have gotten my hair cut and styled here as well as had my make up done. I cannot say enough great things about the salon and the staff. It is simply beautiful.
Edward cut my hair on my first visit. Everything was fantastic from the shampoo to the blow dry it was wonderful service. Everyone was nice, took their time, and listened to what I wanted. I have never left a salon happier with my experience or look.
When I was attending a formal event I also saw Edward to get my hair styled for the event. He did a fantastic job working with me to put together a look for the event that matched the style of dress I was wearing. My hair looked better than it ever had AND lasted all night (!!). I also had my make up done and it was a great experience as well. Overall it could not have gone any smoother. Getting ready for formal events can be super stressful but it was more like a day at the spa when I was at the Warren Tricomi Salon and the final product was beautiful.

Marc Mena is the Picasso of hair extensions! No one will ever know I have them! I will never go anywhere else. Thank you for making me feel pretty!

If you’re looking for amazing hair and/​or great lengths extensions, then definitely come here and see him. The process is so easy and he is wonderful and helpful throughout the whole process. My hair looks amazing and natural and I am getting so many compliments on it!
If you want extensions or hair that looks natural, definitely go. It’s worth everything.

I can’t say enough about Tanya’s awesomeness! She cut mi madre’s hair and totally made her last night in NYC so special. Not only is she super talented, an expert on hair (she could tell what cut would and wouldn’t work) and — of course — skilled with her scissors, but she’s also one of those rare people who is just so down to earth and cool, she’s like long lost family. My mom actually wants to adopt her. Welcome, sis!
I heard about Warren Tricomi because Janice Dickinson mentions Edward Tricomi in her autobiography, and I met Janice and love her. But methinks I love Tanya more! Anyone who treats my mom like a queen and makes her look like one is aces in my book! I will be back here to get my hurr did, too.

Make sure to see Alexis for an unbelievable cut for thick long hair! Fierce flowy angles, nice even layers and voluminous overall look. You won’t be disappointed! Gia is fabulous for color. I fly to NY specifically to get my hair cut, colored and styled by only the best at Warren Tricomi.

The colorist ruined my hair. I cried, she cried, it was awful. She used dye that was much too strong for my already dirty blonde hair, or left it in too long. Who knows. It took years to grow out the destroyed hair. I would never go back or recommend this studio to anyone.

This review is about the eyebrows done by Andrey (something like it, not sure about her name). This girl that did my eyebrows seemed nice however she did a sloppy job on my eyebrows, only doing the basic shaping but not cleaning up around, or cleaning up at all, and so the upper lips waxing. So not worthy the $ 130. I went there to get really specialist professional service, if I wanted mediocre I’d not try a renamed salon brand. So going to that salon for eyebrows is not sure thing that u gonna get really nice service equivalent to what they charge for.

Warren Tricomi is great! Danielle is amazing !!! Magic hands and talent when it comes to getting the blonde you crave.

Julia Macheras is an amazing hairdresser! I have been going to her for years, and she is great. She always takes a lot of time to figure out the best look for you, and makes sure your hair looks perfect when you walk out!

Not sure why this place has lower rating that other branches. The most beautiful salon among all Warren TRICOMI hair salon and owner Joe and Edward are always there. I got hair cut from Edward and did color with Joe. Magic hands. I used to fly Asia to do my hair but now I don’t have to. Must go and enjoy their full service. Nail service is amazing as well and Chinese massage guy– forgot his name. He gave me free massage service while I got my mani– pedi done.

I would like to say that I am only rating Warren Tricomi 5 stars because of Jasmine and her assistant, Olivia. This salon is truly lucky to have such an outstanding stylist on their team. Jasmine and Olivia are always super sweet and nice to me, and my hair has never come out bad. Not only that but I have thick and long hair which not many stylists can handle, but Jasmine does it with such ease that I expect every stylist I encounter to be able to meet the excellence that she gives me every single time.

I’ve had two great experiences at Warren Tricomi’s Plaza Hotel location. Christina did my color and Tanya did my cut. Both listened to exactly what I wanted and I left very happy. I have a very specific haircut and I’ve had many experiences at other salons where the stylists don’t take into account what I want and do their own thing.
In terms of the salon itself, the salon is gorgeous and they use quality products. The downside is it is very crowded and there isn’t really anywhere to put my purse. Also, one of the receptionists I spoke with on the phone is rather rude and abrupt but when I was checking out yesterday another woman at the desk was nice and helpful.
I’ll definitely be coming back.

I bought a Groupon deal for a wash, haircut and style. My thing is — no one FORCED them to put out a Groupon deal. They obviously did it to get the extra business they desperately needed.
I arrived about an hour early, I introduced myself to the front desk and explained I was a bit early. I asked if there was anything they could do to get me seen earlier. The woman behind the counter said «Absolutely! Can I have your name one more time please?» I gave her my name again and she said she didn’t see me on the schedule. She asked with whom I booked my appointment. I told her it was via Groupon and showed her the confirmation email. Her smile dropped off her fake, overly plastic face and she replied with, «Oh, a Groupon…», followed by an exaggerated sigh and a «Have a seat, your appointment isn’t until 12» (not so accomodating now, are we?). Once it was finally «my turn», the young man who came to get me from the waiting area asked me if I was «the groupon». My response? «My name is Jillian — you can call me that thank you». Took me back, washed my hair, walked me to the stylist’s station and said to the stylist, loud and clear «This is ‘The Groupon’, she gets a cut and style ONLY».
EXCUSE ME!!! Like I would try to «finagle» extra services from your unprofessional, disgusting salon! I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible, not stay for another minute. I said very loudly «Again, you can call me MRS. COPPOLA» (now at this point, I feel so frustrated and belittled that I start getting rude back).
I got my haircut and blow-​out and high-​tailed it out of there. NEVER AGAIN will I go to this salon, nor will I recommend to anyone.

Amazing salon, I got a keratin and cut by roman, and have never had better results. I’ve done keratin a few times before but never like this. my hair now dries straight and manageable. I don’t have to spend an hour ironing anymore. The cut is also perfect, even and never seen my hair look so nice and healthy. Ask for roman!

THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY 2013 REVIEW — What a difference a year makes!
I would never have guessed that I would ever write a not-​so-​great review for Warren Tricomi as I have been a customer off/​on for years, even went to their first location on West 57^th Street, but I need to be honest —
I live on the UES, so clearly no need to have to push through all those annoying tourists hovering around the Plaza to get a great cut, but I always liked the Warren Tricomi experience.
My haircuts were around $ 170 (not including tips) My hair always looked great BUT the last few appts were my ruined by my own stylist. I like this person a lot (so sweet) and an awesome stylist (hence not «naming names») but when you are doing my hair the focus should be on me.
Last time I was getting my hair done a friend of this person «stopped by» to say hello. They didn’t work in the salon, but guess they were in the area. The stylist should have told the friend to come back later and not continue chatting away. Then the friend starts to chat with me — I didn’t want to be rude but I thought it was not very cool at all. The other thing that bugs me is this beautiful salon has little function when it comes to making their customers comfortable. There are tiny areas for the stylists to work and store their stuff so clearly no place to put my rather expensive handbag aside from the floor or my lap.
I think the people there have real talent but I no longer feel like I am being pampered. Guess it is time for me to move on and find another salon to terrorize — but at least Im a great tipper!

Ah my experience was like many on here with the bloomspot offer. The deal was a haircut, highlights, and a blow-​out.
Getting the appointment was easy because I did it online. When I showed up though, they didn’t have a record of my appointment but they quickly squeezed me in.
The visit was not relaxing. The salon is not spa-​like and, instead, is very industrial feeling. This meant that my entire visit the place was super loud-​to the point where I couldn’t talk to the colorist.
The biggest problem for me though was that I kept being handed off to someone else. While my hair was being cut, my stylist stopped to cut someone else’s hair and then came back to me!
While the haircut and highlights were good, they weren’t spectacular. For the regular price, I want hair that will land me on the cover of Vogue.

I have always wanted to go to Warren Tricomi, but it was a bit out of my budget. Then one day I was on Groupon and they had an offer for the salon… I grabbed it right away. it was $ 69 for a shampoo, cut and blow out… discounted from $ 210…whooaa. I usually pay about $ 60 for a haircut in Brooklyn, so the $ 69 didn’t seem too bad.
Now, I bought my groupon back in June… it was now September and was expiring at the end of the month. I called the salon to make an appointment and they were super friendly… I was able to get an appointment a few days before the expiration date and they gave me an early Sunday morning (right when they opened).
After booking my appointment… I went on Unilocal to see reviews and a lot of them were bad… UH OH… now I was very nervous. Now I can expect to see a bunch of snotty people and hair all over the place and come out looking horrible…
This was not the case — Thank God!
So, this morning I woke up… took a shower and hopped on the subway into the city. I arrived at the Plaza… went up to the second floor and the doors were closed to the salon. There were a few people waiting outside and a VERY nice lady came around and took us in… gave us robes and my stylist, Zach, greeted me and asked me what I would like to do with my hair. (They were having some power problems when I first arrived… and everyone apologized profusly… but it was fixed in a jiffy). He washed my hair (the washer chairs are motorized and recline) and cut the length off while wet, then blew it out and continued to cut until it was perfectly styled. I walked out of there looking great and feeling great too.
I had such a knot in my stomach worried about this place, but it was great — the décor was beautiful and my stylist Zach was a sweetheart and did a great job on my hair. I highly recommend!

Coming here on a Groupon, I scheduled weeks in advance to which I thought was going to be the most amazing haircut that I would ever experience, but it was to only fall short, leaving me without much change to my current hairstyle and slightly puzzled.
Hairstylist: Why are you getting your hair cut? You should keep it longer.
I am getting my hair cut because I WANT it cut! I found it so bizarre as to how I was almost in a way, being «talked out» of getting my hair cut that day. Was it the Groupon? Was it because I wasn’t dripping in diamonds? Or, maybe, I wasn’t dressed like I walked off the set of «Gossip Girl»? In either way, I appreciate you telling me I should have longer hair because of A, B, and C, but she didn’t explain as to why; opinions aren’t enough to support my not getting my hair cut.
Whatever the case may be, my excitement of this experience dwindled as we went through the motions together of getting my hair cut; the washing was underwhelming and head massage was non-​existent.
Overall, the place looks and dresses the part of being a landmark, but my hair could have been done back in Brooklyn for a fraction of the cost the same way. I’m still putting my hair in a clip to keep the bangs back; I stressed this was why I came in.
Sorry, I’ll stick to the rivers and the lakes that I’m used to.

Oh man. I felt fabulous leaving the salon. Pich did a fantastic job cleaning up my layers and adding oomph to my straight long hair. The speed of the haircut was alarming. I believe I was in and out in less than an hour. They even did a deep conditioning and a beautiful blowout! Pich worked with his assistant next to him and they blow dried my hair together. It wasn’t the most relaxing haircut because the blow dry process actually hurt at times. :(The salon is very beautiful but it’s a little hectic. The vibe here is not spa-​like at all.
This salon definitely overcharges but with the results I got, I believe I’ll be returning. with a Groupon in tow ;) .
Btw the booking process is a bitch. You have to e-​mail them and you’re never sure if the appointment got booked or not until a few days later when they e-​mail you back.
