I was at Wendy's on 7/10/2022, Manhattan NY Broadway Nassau. The order was taken wrong, strawberry frosty was hardly frost and the place was dirty. Upstairs the garbage was overflowing (under statement).
This place needs help on how to run a food establishment and cleanliness.

Workers here aren’t too great. Their customer service sucks really bad. I messed up on my order and it needed a manager’s approval to be removed. He was called over but really annoyed that he had to remove two items from my order. They also got my order wrong. The workers were wearing their hat backwards like they’re hanging out and the manager didn’t even wear a hat. That’s a violation with the health department.

Worst service ever. If I could have given less than 1, I would have done it! Drink has no refill and they fill your cup ¾ with water and ice. I asked no iced drink and the person serving was really mad. She made 10mn to refill 5 cups of drinks. When I asked to make it faster, the left the drink on the counter behind her and served other clients in. Then there was no one to serve anymore, she thrown the drinks in front of me and turned back! The food was not even exceptional! I will not come back there again and don’t recommend that place, mostly when you’re starving!

Its often pack during lunch time and the employees get you in and out very fast. I haven’t had any misstep with my orders. Don’t let the long lines scare you away they move fast

The female manager from this Wendy’s was very nasty with the employee in front of customers. Made me very uncomfortable as a customer.

Karim E. is the best food service(service delivery) manager I have ever encountered. My division wanted to order Wendy’s during peak and though we thought it might be a challenge to order for 30+ people over the phone Karim completely made the process smooth. I asked him to individualize each order and he did. He wrote the names on each bag and made sure the french fries were cooked last so they would be hot by the time we returned to the office. We did not have to wait long and there was absolutely nothing wrong with each order. We did this 2 days in a row because Karim Elsayed is outstanding!

After looking in Century 21 and failing to realize they don’t sell real jewelry(at least according to one salesperson) I stopped in here for an early lunch. I ordered a junior cheeseburger and 4 spicy chicken nuggets. It didn’t take long to get my food. I was asked if I wanted any sauce for the nuggets. I asked for barbecue sauce. The burger had one ring of red onion ketchup and two pickle slices. There was indeed one pack of barbecue sauce for the nuggets.

They always get my order wrong! My order is extremely simple: two junior bacon cheeseburgers(lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon, burger, bun). But sometimes they put pickles, sometimes they put onions, sometimes they put mayonnaise, sometimes they forget to put bacon. And whenever I remind them«No mayonnaise or pickles or onions, please» they very rudely and aggressively argue with me «It doesn’t come with mayonnaise or pickles or onions!» Last time she threw the bag down and said«No mayonnaise or pickles or onions!» and when I got home there were onions! And today, she said«No mayonnaise or pickles or onions,» but at least she was polite this time, yet when I got home their was mayonnaise! I really don’t know what their problem is, perhaps horrible training or inattentive management or poor communication, but it’s something, and unfortunately it’s extremely consistent. How damn annoying!

Cleaner than other Wendy’s locations I’ve been to in the city. However staff was rude and inattentive when I went there this evening around 3 pm. There was one singing and dancing make cashier who also repeatedly came upstairs to clean, but instead mostly loudly moved chairs around and cursed loudly about people rearranging seats. In between doing that, he stood and watched television. Unpleasant experience.

Fries and chicken sandwich was not warm enough. Fries were not crunchy. Interior is ok, service was ok.

Recently remodeled. Very long line at lunch, but it moves extremely fast. Friendly people at the counter. Tasty sandwiches but they significantly under-fill their chili and frosty. This is the second and the last time I’m ordering either of these from this Wendy’s.

They remodeled this place last year and it is all shiny new. Plenty of seating. Dedicated hostess upstairs keeps things neat. Booths seat four. Round tables seat up to 2. Bench along the wall seats pairs. NY1 playing on large flat screens but neither audio nor closed captioning makes it strictly decoration. Stairway to upstairs is steep and narrow and no seating on main floor, so elderly and disabled might have issues here. Soft rock music playing. Employees efficient and friendly. Long lunch line moves fast, so dont be discouraged.

As far as Wendy’s restaurants go, this is a good one. Lines move quickly; staff keep the dining areas clean; and there’re even outlets available so you can charge your phone.

Ooh, shiny! It was a pleasant surprise to walk into this Wendy’s a few days ago to see that it was renovated.(The last time I was here was in 2010 when I worked down the block.) The magic ended quickly, though, and it quickly became the FiDi Wendy’s again when I started to encounter the staff. It was practically a clone of the smiley yet mostly inexperienced people that served us years ago. It really bugs me when there are 15 people behind the counter, ten people in front, and they. somehow. run out of nuggets. Really? Nuggets? And, oh PS: I ordered one order of them, not two. But, then I quickly bring myself back to reality. «It’s Wendy’s, Peter, not a fancy-schmancy place…» What did I expect?

As a rule, I generally try and stay away from the fast-food chains. Haven’t been to a McD’s or BK for a very long time. Wendy’s is definitely the exception to the rule. Something about the spicy chicken sandwich and those darn tasty fries that keeps me coming back. Not too spicy but just enough heat to make you sit up and take notice. Good stuff. Like others have stated, this particular location gets nvts at lunch, but that’s no different from anywhere else in the FiDi. You go to lunch right at noon, what are you gonna expect? The«corral» waiting area can get very crowded as peeps wait for their orders, but it’s not horrible. I’ll be back.

Blah. Nothing spectacular about this location. The lines are long, but well organized. The service is fast. Just be sure to check your bag before you leave the register. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve checked and something was missing. Oh no value menu. My Junior Bacon Cheeseburger was $ 2.09.

This Wendy’s is pretty close to my job in FiDi, so I hit this place up pretty often. When you’ve only got a few bucks and you want to fill up around lunch time, this place is a good standby. There is usually a line around lunchtime, but don’t be deterred, it will move pretty fast. The workers aren’t sympathetic. You’ll get one serving of ketchup and one of dipping sauce, no more… sometimes less. If you get the potato with cheese and bacon, the bacon will not be in crumbly bits, but strewn out in ghetto fashion, just a thin shrivel of bacon topping your potato. I stick with simple choices, the kid-sized frosty, small fries, spicy or regular small order of nuggets. Don’t get too complicated. Don’t ask for alterations. Do you know where you are right now? Spend $ 5, get a bunch of food. Be happy and hope that you don’t get a tummy ache. Oh yeah, and they usually mess up my order and give me too much food. Score! Just make sure that you check your order was remotely correct before you leave. Once you walk away from the counter, don’t expect any make-goods.

This Wendy’s is literally a 2 minute walk from my apartment, so I come here often even though it’s a mediocre establishment. Pros: they keep it relatively clean(aside from the occasional smell of garbage or piss), it’s large, the food is more or less what I expect from Wendy’s, and the night manager is a total sweetheart. Cons: Lunch is a total mess. I don’t know why they don’t reorganize their system to make it more efficient, but they basically have at least 5 people on cash registers taking orders nonstop, while a couple people are in the back actually preparing the food/expediting. Result — a relatively fast line to order, while afterwards you wait over 30 minutes for your food. The people around me who were in a rush to get back to work were more than just peeved — one woman started yelling at the cashiers, while a businessman checked his blackberry and said he couldn’t wait any longer and actually left WITHOUTHISFOOD. Oh the humanity! So despite all the shortcomings, the fact that it’s so damn close to my apartment keeps me coming back, along with their spicy chicken sandwich. Sorry Burger King, yours just doesn’t compare.

Wendy’s is one of the very few places where I go for fast food. I LOVE their $.99 dollar menu which truly fits in today’s ailing economy. Most of their burgers contain sour dough bread which is the reason for their higher prices than competitors like McDonald’s and Burger King. I LOVE sour dough bread. I would come here often and the line is well controlled as it moves in a systematic, assembly-line orderly fashion. I rate it four stars as there is insufficient staff to man the fort behind the scenes to cook and prepare all the meals.
