Located within the Flatiron District of Manhattan, Westside Skate and Stick is NYC’s elite ice hockey and premier figure skating pro-​shop. With a friendly certified staff, we offer a personalized skate fitting for both hockey and figure skaters with any foot type. Our customized fitting process for in-​stock skates will drastically shorten and improve the new skate «break-​in» process skaters have come to dread. Our fit specialists will resolve most fit-​related problems in-​store, and when further options are needed we offer custom boot fitting from esteemed companies such as Gam, Graf, Harlick, Jackson and Riedell, who will build boots to the skater’s custom specifications. Our knowledgeable staff has 10 years of experience in the sales and services of skates of all levels; providing a personalized fit solutions for both the hockey players shooting for goals and the figure skaters, skating for gold. We also stock a complete selection of JR and SR sized protective equipment and bags.

History

Established in 2004.

Westside Skate is a technically certified service provider of the Maximum Edge skate sharpening process, as used by a majority of NHL teams. Our newly expanded sales floor allows us to offer customers an even larger selection of ice hockey skates and protective equipment to outfit players of all ages and skill levels. To assist in finding the perfectly fitting skate, our staff has attended the advanced technical clinic at the Graf factory, making Westside Skate the only ice skate shop in the Northeast to receive that distinction. In addition to the largest Graf hockey skate, stick and protective selection in the Tri-​State area, we are also a figure skating dealer of leading boot and skate brands including: Edea, Gam, Graf, Harlick, Jackson, and Riedell boots. We also carry Eclipse, John Wilson, MK, Paramount, Step and Ultima, figure blades.

Why is Customer Service our #1 priority at Westside Skate & Stick?

When I worked for my family’s place of business, Triumph of Wellesley in Wellesley, MA. I lived, worked and breathed motorcycles as a youth growing into adulthood. Along with some great customer’s, friend’s and employee’s I took away a positive experience that ran through every department within the dealership from sales & service, repairs, manufacturing to shipping. Our customers were like family, this lead to many good things, including but not limited to both customer loyalty and a positive word-​of-​mouth advertising that grew annual sales.

Today as the owner of Westside Skate we listen first to all our customers, we have a real comprehensive understanding of all our brands, products and services we offer and stand behind what we sell and do, along with having a real commitment to everyone within the skating community and a true passion for ice skaters of all levels.
