Yogurtland

Previously have gone a number of times with no issue.
Thist time 1) worker had rubber gloves in his pocket that looked clearly used, put back on to give me a trying cup. USED RUBBER GLOVES?
2) Informed worker there was a hair clearly not mine as Im blond, was dark, straight hair… notified them, perhaps it came from butterfinger toppings?
He looked at it, shrugged shoulders and did NOTHING.
Then called and spoke to Kayla, to inform her, thinking okay, a manager would address this.
Sadly, no. She just said, where did you find it and what was yoru topping?
NEVER GOING BACK. There are plenty of other froyo places.

The most ABYSMAL service, at this particular location Ivory and another gentleman that happens to have crossed eyes (I don’t know his name) were super rude to me and my friend we walked in at about 10:30 last Monday they refused to give us cups or spoons to taste the yogurt, we then try it out with the cups meant for purchase and make a mess over ourselves, we got our yogurt and paid Ivory then comes to snatch the bench out from under me while I was sitting on it so we couldn’t sit outside the store… ABYSMAL don’t go here go somewhere else.

In the time when I lived in a place without 16 handles I used to frequent yogurtland. Now that there are 16 handles within walking distance of wherever I happen to be, I see no good reason why I would come back to yogurtland.
Flavors aren’t unique, toppings especially the fruits were in bad condition, and the price was too high for the weight I bought.

I love froyo and almost eat it everyday. I have been to so many froyo places and every time I go, I ask for samples before I decide. Yesterday was the first time that a staff refused to let me try more samples after I tried one flavor only. She told me they had a ‘limit’ for customers to sample. Haha so you mean limit=1??? How ridiculous! I left immediately and instead went to 16handles nearby.
Keep saving your sample cups. I will never go back.

I absolutely love this frozen yogurt place, they have my favorite flavors (coconut, mango) and they have a wide selection of fruits to top it with. Just how I like it! I’m sure they have other flavors and toppings but I usually get the same thing over and over again so I can’t really comment on the rest.

Finally, a froyo place that isn’t crazy expensive. Very typical in terms of flavors and toopings. This place offers freshly made waffles with different flavors, which is a major plus. I’ll put any and everything in a waffle iron.
There are daily specials, so check those out.
Only downside is, my check in offer didn’t work. I don’t think the employee herself was lazy, just the manager. The girl at the register was having trouble applying it to my purchase and went back to the manager for help several times, but came back with no avail. I mean, I was the only customer inside and you can’t at least come out and address the issue? Uh uh.

I live right across the street, and its always hard for me not to go in. They have lots of different flavors, but I usually just stick with plain, mango, or strawberry. The toppings are always fresh and yummy. The employees are always very friendly. I just wish I was able to sample more of the flavors. but a great awesome summer place!

Got a sweet tooth but hate the bulge? This is the perfect yogurt place. They have a huge variety with an elaborate selection of toppings. I have been here almoat every other day and I cant get enuf of it! If around, check it out!

Perfect for summer, I wish they have wifi tho. Other than that, the yogurt tastes are various and my favorite one is the plain flavor

The employees here are always very friendly and helpful, and the yogurt is amazing! I see a doctor nearby every week and a trip here is usually my treat to myself. Yum!

I was hanging out at a table waiting for my wife to call which flavor for grand daughters play date. Saw the owner staring at me. He already chastised a 10 year old for indecisive use of toppings, As I sat, the owner took a wet towel, snuck up behind me without saying a word and mopped the table and my arm. I was stunned. Guess he thought I was freeloading at a table. I had to buy yogurt but I was pissed. Yogurt was very good. owner not so much.

I wish I loved this Yogurtland but it’s going downhill. The staff are always kind and personable, but often badly trained. And it seems like they’re trained to cover their mistakes instead of working with the customer to fix them. This m.o. Has shown up from non-​working machines to botched advance orders. Hoping it changes.

I LOVE this yogurtland location always clean & with a friendly staff. Their fro-​yogurt selections are very impressive; as well as their toppings. I come here regularly, my bf & I are hooked on this spot.

As someone who works in the food industry, I swore I would never write a Unilocal review. But today’s appalling experience changed my mind. Similar to the other review posted this afternoon, my girlfriend and I stopped in despite the cold. We thought it would be fun until we had the extreme displeasure of meeting the man behind the counter. I wouldn’t even call it bad customer service. He was just flagrantly rude. We wanted to sample the yogurt first, a common practice at any Yogurtland and every other frozen yogurt establishment I’ve ever visited. He equated sampling with theft, and berated us for five minutes during my girlfriend’s transaction. We remained calm during the verbal assault and paid for the frozen yogurt, but I have never encountered such horrifying rudeness. We will never return again, and I hope no one has to deal with what we went through today. No frozen yogurt is worth the barrage of that utterly unpleasant man. If you happen to wander in by chance, I wish you luck.

Yogurtland was running a promo where you get two separate 3oz freebies* when you sign up for their loyalty program/​app, so we went that route and sampled pretty much everything (without asking for sample cups, for better or worse). We’d just been to Menchie’s so were a bit let down by the comparison, but still satisfying and a nice roster of flavors.
*You need to use them in 2 separate transactions, but the friendly staffers are more than willing to accept in a single visit, though it’s a shame you need to waste an extra cup to do so.

I debated even to give this place a star at all. I have never met anyone ruder and
condescending than the person standing at the register slurping his yogurt in my face. He told me he was the owner! He should do himself a favor and not be at his store, with his attitude the place will be closed soon. He really needs to put his energies into cleaning up his store.
The toppings are always a mess, they never clean up the area where the toppings are. I was the only one in the shop they couldn’t have been too busy to clean up.
And while they are at they should take care of the sticky floors.
The flavors are way too sweet, even their tart flavor.
Not worth it. Between the owner’s attitude and the mediocre yogurt,
I will not go back. As others have mentioned there are a few other frozen yogurt stores in the area that I would sooner go to. Like 16 Handles and Pinkberry.

I stopped by here on my way to whole foods across the street. I don’t know what the deal is with these manhattan yogurt lands but this particular location did not have any of the new flavors which was very disappointing. The employees were quick to offer sample cups which was nice. They have me three and I sampled pistachio, cookies and cream and graham cracker. Graham cracker was the only one I liked. The texture of the other two were off. I don’t plan on returning much in the future. I think you’re better off finding the closest 16 handles if you’re craving frozen yogurt.

Since finding this location of Yogurtland, my boyfriend and I have developed an unhealthy obsession and find ourselves here far too often. Let me start by saying that we used to go to 16 Handles around the corner, but found this place and decided we liked it better and haven’t been back to 16 handles.
Part of the reason we like this place is because they give you free water. This may seem like a small thing but when you just walked 15 blocks in the middle of July for fro yo, you will really appreciate this water. It’s also good when you are eating your fro yo and begin to realize just how much chocolate you put in your cup.
The staff at this location are super friendly and literally greet every customer who comes in and offers everyone little sample cups without them having to ask. They start with two but you can go back for more. Originally I was a little peeved with getting only 2 cups… until we started coming here more often and realized the sheer number of people who come in, get sample cups, use them a few times and then leave without actually making any purchases. This store is also laid out really well so there is plenty of seating but rarely any bottle necks of people as we tended to find at 16 handles.
We are also big fans of the flavors at this location. They always have a good mix of interesting flavors (caramel macchiato, lava flow, etc.) and plain flavors (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla), personally I enjoy putting a bunch of flavors together in the cup and making my own flavored fro yo soup. Though I wouldn’t get one, they also have cookies you can use as dividers in your fro yo if you’re really worried about flavors touching. In addition, they always have at 2 dairy free sorbet flavors at all times. Sometimes they’re a little strange, but they’re always good. This is the main reason we come to Yogurtland over 16 handles because they have consistently good flavors for my lactose intolerant boyfriend to enjoy. In addition, we really like they’re different themed flavors, like right now there’s Mojito sorbet and lava flow regular fro yo, last week it was cosmopolitan and caramel macchiato (I think). To top it all off, they have TONS of toppings including really fresh tasting fruit. If you get their rewards card (my bf and I share one) you will pretty much get free oz of fro yo every time you go (though when you do get free oz it makes you realize just how much fro yo you’ve been eating).
tl;dr you want to go to Yogurtland.

I live literally across the street from here. What a great alternative to «the other self serve froyo» place. I also found this place in the middle of the worst winter in years. I’ve gone to this place in the snow, sleet, rain and cold. They even give promotions based on the weather! (think pay per oz based on how cold it is). Their toppings aren’t as plentiful as the other places… but who cares? I always enjoy visiting here. The staff is so generous and nice. Always willing to give sample tests!

Each time I went, I asked about the mochi toppings and popping bubbles. Each time, they said it was coming soon. 2.5 months later, there are still no mochi and popping bubble toppings. It just doesn’t feel like a true Yogurtland without mochi at the very least.
It’s like going to Disneyland and not seeing Mickey Mouse.
