Starting 3 months: We started looking for our ever first sofa set (3 seater, 2 seater/​loveseat and recliner) and since majority of our lives we were students so we had limited budget in our hands but comfort was our priority. We went by Unilocal reviews and all 4+ stores had sofa sets starting from $ 2k minimum. We did not leave Costco too. July 4^th deals, Labor day deals, everywhere we were looking for no less than $ 1500 for 3 months, even those stores with «CLOSING SALE»,“WAREHOUSE”,“GRAND OPENING”, anything with discounters in its name. We even went for a private invitation only event from one of the local stores. We learnt a lot about fabrics, types of leathers (bonded leather, pure leather, faux leather etc.)
Found Craigslist: I started exploring craigslist and found that there are warehouse stores with contact number which have a wholesale price. I came across a bedroom set (dresser, mirror, bed frame, 1 nightstand) for $ 290. My curious mind took me to this store and I found nothing wrong with it. Not even a scratch. I was amazed by the prices I found. A same piece would have had $ 1500 minimum in the local store which has those big banners called «CLOSING OUT»
Buying furniture: We ended up buying all our furniture here. Bonded brown leather sofa set for $ 1300, A spectacular TV stand for $ 290 (I bet it could have been $ 1000 easily in any other store). It’s like they chose the best of each living room, bedroom set and selling it for a wholesale price. They have only one TV stand but I bet it will charm you as soon as you find it (glass doors, inbuilt 6 outlet surge protector, convenient box at the back for wire organization.
Other expenses: They even delivered and assembled all of them for 190 $ (except TV stand which would be 60 $ extra)

Decent looking stuff but not the highest quality.
Prices may be negotiable — just ask.
Check Craigslist from the same owners for better deals than the Newark showroom. Search under same phone number: you’re welcome.

Very bad service and customer experience. I bought furnitures worth $ 1650 and they took one week to deliver them. When I opened one of the items which is an office table I found that corners of table were broken. It must have happened while unloading items from truck. After seeing the pictures they agreed to replace it. The replacement came after a week and the cross bar of the table was missing in the delivery. When I checked them, they asked me to visit their shop and pick it up.
I had to pay only $ 20 and could be paid it through credit card. In fact the shop agreed to take the payment through credit card when they delivered replacement for broken table (I was away from home). I drove 60 miles to shop just to collect the missing part and I’m sure that they will not deliver that part to my home until they have a big delivery in Livermore. They told me this reason for the delay in second delivery to my home for replacing broken table.

Pretty disappointed in the service and selection. I came in with my dad when the sales person was with another customer. I understand he is focused on the sales and will eventually great us. We walked around the whole store and still nothing. The part that really gets me is that another family CAME IN AFTER US and the sales person greats them and helps them out while ignoring us. Eventually I wanted to find out if he had any real leather couches, not that bonded carp that he had anywhere and he pointed on e out and say thats is.
Fed up with the shitty service I decided to go elsewhere to spend my hard earn money. (which i did at another place the same day)

prices are good
but very low score on customer service. sporadic replies to email. had hard time to get pricing of items i wanted to buy. which i didn’t get till end, and gave up on this store.

The guy in the store didn’t help us much. he was unfriendly and he showed too much attitude.

Finding this place was a real challenge we were searching for a while which is not worth it. I found the furniture what I wanted but the guy in the store is unfriendly and was showing lots of attitude. I don’t have a 0 star.

This place was great. Mark was super helpful and informative. Delivery was the next day and on time. Prices were great and furniture was amazing. I will be referring friends for sure.

About a year ago we had a house fire and lost everything we own. We had to stay in a hotel for a month, and when we finally got insurance money for rent and found an apartment that would let us keep our dogs we needed everything. At that point we did not have any money from the insurance yet other than the monthly rental allowance so price was a huge factor! I went on a craigslist search and came across
. So off we went with the attitude that at least it’s cheap and will get us through the year+ till we get back in our house and can buy «good stuff». WELL HOW WRONG WE WERE!!! We got there picked out 2 full bedroom sets (1 king bed 2 night stands and 2 dressers, and a queen bed 1 night stand and a dresser) a kitchen table, a hutch for the kitchen that has become 1 of my favorite pieces of furniture ever! and a great huge sectional for the living room! all for $ 1500!!! We owned a big truck so we were thinking that we could make a couple of trips on moving day and get everything there, well for $ 50 they delivered everything on the day we signed the lease and brought everything to the rooms it was going in. There was some assembly required but nothing like buying from Ikea and we were moved in in 1 day. Thanks to them it felt like we had a home for Christmas!!!(our move in date was December 5) Well now we have our plans and construction has started on our home and sadly the sectional we picked will not fit in the room… and as we have purchased things over the year it is getting kind of big for our apartment, on the other hand our 26 year old son is ecstatic that he is being given the sectional. It is a year old and shows NO WEAR!!! That is saying A LOT! considering our household includes my husband 6’6″ and 275 lbs, my 16 year old son 6’5″ and 220 lbs and 2 85 lb Golden Retrievers. All of them love to flop on it! All the furniture we bought form them still looks great and shows NO WEAR AND TEAR!!! What we originally thought was going to be «throw away» furniture we are now planning on keeping in our home for years to come!!! The only thing we have had to do is tighten some screws on the kitchen table and chairs… but that is standard on any piece of furniture that you need to assemble.
Needless to say we need some furniture that will fit in our new home and give us a little more space where we are right now at least for the next 4 months so this weekend guess where I’m going… I already have it picked out and have taken measurements!

Come to know about Bay area sofa through one of my friends when I was searching for furniture store. My budget was limited and so was searching for some affordable furniture. Visited Bay area sofa on one of the weekends and found the furniture which other stores are selling for very high prices @ affordable prices in Bay area sofa. Delivery is cheap and they charge flat rate for any number of items.
I bought a very nice dining set here (the same set is priced very high on amazon). It looks awesome in my apartment. I really love it. Planning to get a sofa set here during the weekend.
I suggest anybody who is looking for new furniture to visit this place first.

I found this place through my sister. She purchased a few items for her new home and got an amazing deal.
I live in San Francisco and it’s expensive to purchase furniture in the city unless I get it from Ikea.
I purchased a sofa, dining room table/​chairs, and bed frames for less than $ 1k, and they were able to deliver for free!
I think they are able to keep the price low because it’s cash only transaction.
Their location is hidden away between the industrial buildings. They have pretty good furniture sections and the quality is very good.
I would definitely come back here if I need more furniture.

This place does not exist! This other driver and I were trying to locate this store. It was closed down. What a waste of time!
I thought that I could get a good deal on a sofa by looking through the Unilocal besides getting direction to this place.

Peeped this spot today. It was our last stop and we were very happy we stopped by. I had spoken to Tony via phone past couple of days.
The pricing on their furniture is real and the quality of the furniture is great. Reason their pricing is rock bottom is they make a deal with the manufacturer to buy certain furniture in bulk at rock bottom prices.
One pitfall is that they dont assemble the furniture when it gets to your house. No biggie though.

We love this place. We have been coming here for the last three years for all of our furniture. The customer service and prices can’t be beat. We only wish we had a larger house to be able to utilize this place more.

Recently I purchase a Dining table set and a sofa+love seat recliner set from them and initially was bit skeptical about product quality seeing such a low price deals and when I visited their store, we were surprised to see such a good collection with a great quality and immediately decided to buy all my stuff from there.
They delivered it very next day as promised and charged a very little and reasonable shipping and handling fee which I felt is not a big deal.
During the assembly time of my dining table, I might have not followed the manual instructions properly or I got a different length of screws, the screws came out of my dining table top and I felt very unhappy after seeing that. Next minute I called up Mark and explained him my situation and he asked me to send the photos of the damaged parts.
Next day when I called him, he told that he can replace all of those parts for free without asking any question if it my mistake or not which made me feel very impressed with them. They take care of their customers at their best which is most impressive part.
I decided to buy all my furniture from them next time and also will refer them to all my friends.

I was a bit skeptical myself because the prices were so low. But I had been looking around for a really long time, 6+ months for new couches to fit my taste and budget. So sure enough, they won me over. They had what I wanted in stock and Mark was really easy to work with. I wasn’t able to go and make the purchase myself so I sent 2 wonderful gentlemen to get the job done all in one day. When they say «out the door price», they mean it. So believe what you hear and don’t waste your time looking around like I did. There is NO OTHER place that can beat their prices!

I purchased a couch, love seat, dining room table and chairs from
. I was a bit skeptical as they really didn’t have a huge selection. But, I found several pieces that I loved. The prices were actually unreal. I thought to myself, «well, since it’s in my budget, I may as well get what I need now and someday down the line, I’ll buy something nice».
Well, I called and spoke to a young man named Mark. I must have changed my mind 10 times (really). It took days and 100 questions before I made a final decision. Mark answered every question with the patience as if it was the first and only question. He suggested that I go to Fremont and check out the furniture before I made the purchase. I was too busy. Mark would go back and forth and take pictures of everything I wanted to see with his cell phone and send them to me. Now that is customer service at it’s best.
The young man who delivered the furniture, Anthony, was polite, professional. He put everything together and cleaned up every piece of debris. I received my furniture on the day I selected and it was delivered on time.
I absolutely love the furniture, it is quality. I thought that because of the price, I’d be replacing it soon. I’ll be keeping and enjoying this for years to come. I had one little issue with something and they took care of it in an instant. I was so impressed with the customer service, I just bought a new china cabinet and 4 SF Giants bar stools. Their website says that they offer a «no nonsense» approach to buying furniture, and that is exactly right.
They have relatively limited selection and the the build quality is mid to low end, but the value for money is outstanding.
We paid $ 500 for a guest bedroom set on saturday, including a queen size bed, dresser and large night stand. It was delivered the next day on sunday.
Regarding the furniture quality, they use solid wood in areas that you can touch, manufactured wood (layered veneer) on load bearing areas, and particle board everywhere else. I wouldn’t expect it to survive water damage, but I’d expect to get several years of use out of it.
This is personal preference but I also thought that most pieces were quite stylish (just as good looking as much more expensive furniture) after assembly.
Their customer service is not overly polite, it is no nonsense.

Mark is a GREAT help when it comes to finding any furniture for any room! I have bought a mattress, sofa and vanity from him. Anything that is not stocked in the warehouse, can be ordered and ready for pickup in less than a week.
I didn’t realize how much many furniture places mark up their prices, but
sells the items at basically wholesale price.
