Saw Varekye at the Prudential Center last night. As always we were blown away by the performance. Everything from the juggling to the acrobatics to the singing was amazing. The set and clothing were beautiful and the live music playing was very entertaining. I think the only down side is i felt it wasn’t as many oh wow I can’t believe they just did that moments in this show compared to other Cirque shows that I have seen. I will def recommend this to others, especially being that it’s at the prudential center and you don’t have to deal with all the traffic going to the usual queens location.

Pretty big fan of most Cirque du Soleil stuff, did not know they were based out of New York /NJ area or else I would have probably looked into more shows while I was here. I love their Las Vegas stuff a lot and I’m eager for their OVO traveling show in San Jose in March! I have to say though, Wintuk was somewhat of a disappointment as it is very un-Cirque style in my opinion with not as much acrobatics but more playful, fun, modern, jazzy type thing. I would like them to go back to their roots with shows like Kooza or KA in Las Vegas which showcased more of what Cirque du Soleil really is … breathtaking entertainment.

Saw Saltimbanco at Newark yesterday. Some of the feats were amazing, some of the more«comical» aspects bordered on lame. Overall the show was great, but I have a feeling the Vegas shows are better.

I saw Allegria in Philadelphia and it was wonderful. I saw La Nouba in Orlando, Fl. and it was awesome. I saw«O» in Las Vegas and it was spectacular. I am about to see Saltimbanco in Newark, NJ and it will be thrilling! The circus has come to town like never before! Cirque du Soleil has redefined the tightropes, acrobats, clowns. Deep breaths will be drawn in and slowly left back out! Extremely entertaining for all ages! Wintuk is returning to NYC for the holiday season, as all Cirque du Soleil shows, they have planned it well to be a success. They are all unique and different from the last. I’m sure they will survive and entertain us many times in the many years to come. Happy soaring…
