This place is the nearest dd to my job so i come here all the time. The guys that work here are pretty cool and give good service, but they dont have any combo meals, which means its pricier than most dds. Line always looks long but the employees are pros at taking orders and getting the line moving quickly. It’s the closest DD to my job so I’ll be back, but the lack of combo meals is annoying. Maybe they just don’t have the combo meals because their location is so great that they just don’t need em for business.

I’m a west coast girl and I had my first Duken experience a few months ago while in town! Absolutely awesome!!! Loved the coffee and adored the extra sugary treats!!! Some of the seasonal items were a little too sweet for my taste, but the custard and twist donuts were on point!

Definitely my favorite Dunkin’ Donuts. Although the store itself is small and morning lines can get pretty crazy, the employees working here are BEYOND sweet. There is a young man named Hardy and an older woman named Nancy who work in the morning, and if you are a returning customer, they will make it their personal job to memorize your order aka no waiting on line for you! Definitely a great way to start off my mornings! Not to mention, I get a medium iced coffee and morning wrap(egg+cheese) for $ 3!

If you have a specific way you’d like your order(like me), repeat repeat repeat! Once you become a regular they’ll know what you want as soon as you walk in. When i used to work in the area, this location was my everyday choice for coffee, bagels, donuts, coolattas, etc. The service is ok. Just check your bag before you leave to make sure everything is the way you ordered it.

This place seriously sucks! Too bad I can’t put zero stars, but Unilocal won’t let me… The donuts here are small, dried out, stale, and just do not taste good at all. It was one of theworst so called fresh donuts that I have ever had. The donuts from a grocery store is much better. And the workers have no customer service skills and are rude. If you are looking for good donuts, go elsewhere.

I like Dunkin Donuts but this franchise is so so. Its tucked away and very small. No room to sit, its a get in and out kinda joint. Too many times I have received a stale bagel or donut, even with the bagel being toasted it tasted slightly off. Coffee always seems burnt or jist awful nob matter what time of day you go. Staff has always been friendly. Annoying hours but its made for the 9 – 5 crowd.

This is the worst Dunkin Donuts I’ve ever been to… and that’s saying something! I ordered a sausage sandwich meal for which I was charged over $ 7. Ok. That price is fine for a meal. I was asked if I’d like my coffee hot or iced, and I replied«Iced with cream please». When I got my bag and sat down I was surprised to see just the sandwich, not the meal. I went back to the cashier, and she said that hash browns are $ 1 upcharge. I looked up and pointed to the ad, clear as day, that said that the whole meal is priced at $ 5 and change. Realizing that I’d been charged over $ 7, not to mention the tip I left, I asked why I’d been charged so much! The woman who took my order said(in so many words) that getting the coffee iced negated the meal, and she charged me just for the sandwich and the coffee. That is unacceptable! To offer iced coffee and not tell you that it costs almost $ 3 more than the hot coffee that comes with the meal. The whole thing was super shady. I certainly will never be back to this franchise, and encourage people who eat here to ask lots of questions and be wary of the employees.

D&D is a chain restaurant, and you can’t really go wrong when everything is supposed to be made a standard way. This D&D consistently disappoints. I got a stale donut once. Ilthe workers don’t know what«light and sweet» means. I’m done giving them chances.

Most staff are friendly but the quality of the coffee is atrocious! It is basically the same coffee in the morning and recycled with more water to be sold in the afternoon. That is why the coffee is horrible and a waste of money!

The service is great– owner is super friendly and remembers his regulars. But the .bad like consistently bad. I generally get some sort of flavored coffee with milk and Splenda and it literally tastes like I’m drinking an ashtray. Could be they need to change the machines– could be that they get so busy the coffee burns. Whatever it is– I wish they would fix it because I love taking afternoon breaks here and I enjoy the staff.

Horrible day… so I wanted a pick me up. DD was nearby so I walked here and got the Key Lime and Lemon Filled Donut… these pretty much tasted the same, and in hindsight I should have ordered donuts that were drastically different. But, since it was towards the end of the day, I didn’t have much to choose from. Yeah, these donuts tasted like they were made yesterday – kinda to be expected since it was like 4 in the afternoon. I’ve never been really big on donut chains, but I’m sure donuts taste better when they’re fresh and when you can choose what you want instead of from what’s left lol.

My experiences with the iced lattes here weren’t so good, especially when I ordered it with skim milk. the lattes tastes so watery, and the service isn’t too great either. too bad I have to make a trip all the way to south orange for delicious lattes.

I am a big fan of this Dunkin Donuts. It is always very clean and has very friendly employees who work quickly and dilligently. I won’t go to another Dunkin because this location has proved that they deserve my business. Just like any other Dunkin it gets extremely busy in the morning and has a very long line but they seem to manage the chaos well. If you aren’t in a rush I advise you not to go before 8:30am to avoid any lines:). My Caramel Iced Latte is consistently good! Definitely a thumbs up

Really busy in the mornings… lines sometimes spill outside the door– BUT it goes by fast. never spent more than 5 minutes in there— good service and aren’t annoyed by annoying requests(I know, I’m that person who asks for a litle bit of cream, and 2.5 splenda) haha

i don’t love dunkin’ donuts or anything, but the halsey street d&d in newark deserves a five star rating simply for the people who work it. they are efficient, quick, and friendly — and this is rare in many dunkin’s. am i not speaking the truth here? in terms of customer service, the workers perform magic every weekday morning as they service a continuous queue of business people looking to grab a fast d&d breakfast before rushing off to their nearby offices. i mean, the line there must be like a never-ending sushi conveyor belt, and the workers just process everyone quickly and politely. like many downtown newark places, it closes early. it’s a solid breakfast spot if you’re on the run and in need of a quick sugar and caffeine fix to start the day.

Uh, this is perhaps the best Dunkin I’ve ever been to. For that you shall receive three precious stars. The people here speak clear English, and are very friendly. My first experience here was free coffee day, and despite the madness, the servers were totally cool and helpful. Dunkin donuts food makes my intestines implode. Their coffee would taste something like paint if it weren’t so watered down. But I’ll still show up here, because it’s better than many other options, and the people rock!
