Hunting for pops stopped by and damn I’ve been to a couple hot topics through the bay and all the pops are scattered, but when I came in I was so amazed that they actually organized them! Staff was chill as well

Came into the store and was greeted. Nice lady asked if she can help me and when I asked for help, she was really quick to help me out. Love hot topic and I will always will. Been a huge fan when they first open up. This store looks very organized and clean.

I went here with my friend since she wanted some shirts from here, but I do not shop here. The store is pretty small or at least smaller than I had originally anticipated. The clothes here are pretty expensive; one shirt on average for twenty dollars. The employees are pretty nice though. Overall, its an okay store, but its just not my cup of tea.

This store is super packed and not in customers. They have merchandise EVERYWHERE… you can’t really walk around without bumping into something. Not that I really mind, but I can’t really visit this store when my son is with me, otherwise i’ll just be picking up stuff and telling him not to touch anything… The few times I’ve been here there’s different reps so they either have a lot of reps on their payroll or they have a high turnaround of employees. They are friendly though, they ask if they can help with anything and let you know about their current sales. I do like their roomy dressing rooms!

Came here a couple of weeks ago to get lip jewelry because I just gotten my lips pierced recently and wanted to change out the stud. The girl working here was very helpful and recommended me to get a certain pack of studs for my lip and I asked if I could return it if it was the wrong size/type for my lip. She said it was okay as long as the product was unopened. The next day I come back to return the product because I showed the pack of studs to my piercer and he said the rods were way to long. The guy working at the store tells me that I can’t return the product even though it is unopened but I can exchange it. He was the same guy that was there the day before when the girl told me I could return my item if it was unopened. wtf.

Before I start I will have to say«Our shirts are buy one get one half off, and For every $ 50 you spend we’ll give you $ 10 hot topic cash that you have to come back next week to use while you spend another $ 40 to use it but I will convineantly not mention that.» you walk into the store and it’s like getting bombed with workers greeting you and trying to sell your crap like Pop-uPs at a porn site. «Buy this! Just looking? We’re gonna talk about your shirt and how awesome the rip and taco stain is to ty and get you to feel confortable and buy our stuff.» I’m 24, so when I remember Hot Topic it used to be 12 years ago, before Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga shirts, Looking for Metallica shirts? sorry your gonna have to settle for a LMFAO shirt. Hot topic used to have the balls Of spencers but the usefullness of a store i would spend $ 100 at. Everything in the store is either cheaply made, rips in the washer, bleeds or rubs off on your white T shirt, This is a terrible store, The workers are to cool to care and only want to sell you crap, as soon as costumers leave I’ve heard them talk smack about them and laugh at what they bought. theres a guy in paticular that just looks at the girls and licks his lips as he opens the dressing room for them then wispers to his co– worker, but when i a guy asked to used the dressing room I waited 15 minutes. Though this place says women’s clothing in the description, it has men’s clothes as well. Great store for hipsters. The clothes are cool and relatively inexpensive especially the T-shirts. Love all the other thingamajigs they sell from beanies to wristbands. The young cashier was sweet and a hipster.

I hate this location. It now sucks! I’ve been coming here for years. The staff was fantastic, always super friendly(without being fake). My kids and I were there so often it felt like we knew the staff and they knew us. Then all of a sudden, the cool staff was gone along with the cool merch. What the hell happened?!? I tried to get a few things one day and they were taking sooooo long I had to just put my stuff down and walk out, never to return again. Mind you, I was fed up at this point of many disappointed trips to this location. Also I’m very understanding when new people are learning their job but this was crazy. I shop on-line now.

Been coming here since I was 10. It used to be my FAVORITE store. All the people who worked there were nice, and unfortunately the past year the store has gone downhill. There’s new unexperienced staff members who aren’t smart enough to even open a new cash register even though there’s a long line and there’s enough people to work on it, and unfortunately it was so ridiculous that I had to walk out the last time I went. Also, the place is MESSY! The clearance section has thrown clothing all over the place. If the staff isn’t putting clothes back or working the registers, then what are they doing? I’m pretty much done with this store for good, unless they magically change ASAP.

1. I am a Hot Topic fanatic. 2. My teenager is a Hot Topic fanatic. 3. I have been a Hot Topic fanatic since I was her age(what’s up, Valco!!) BUT, I digress and give this section TWOSTARS for my sadness upon running into our home store, Newark Mall, on Monday night to be judo chopped in the throat by an unfriendly staff member and an enormous amount of merch off the walls and missing! Like, literally, 18 years an avid HT shopper and I’ve NEVER seen the store so… sad. WA! I’m going to shout out that it was certainly obvi they were having a humungo sale(hence the boxes w/$ amounts on them) and because my kid and I just left the HT in the Meadowland Mall in Vegas and they had their biz together. I ran in Monday to grab a tank top for the last minute concert I persuaded my broken-foot boyfriend to go with me to(Vampires Everywhere & Get Scared w/Aidan). When I ran in and was judo chopped, I said to the Debbie Downer behind the counter«Where’s all the merch at?» He just looked at me and got back to work. I looked around, trying to find any ME tank(even in the guys sec) and nothing. I left, sadly. :( Again, I ah-dore HT. It’s our first store to visit everytime at the mall. We both have our own rewards cards. The store mgr and assistant store mgr know us during Black Veil Brides season. This visit just left such a sour taste in my mouth that I had to write about it. Just a gripe: Dear HT, you’re not supposed to have Taylor Swift merch. You’re not supposed to have Lady Gaga blaring thru the speakers. You’re are not supposed to have any Bieber gear. And as much as I sing and dance to Miss B. Spears, you’re not supposed to have her stuff either.

The sales guy who helped me today was hilarious! Lots of humour, and made the effort to find my costume in other stores even though there was a lot of customers. I didn’t find what I was looking for here, but he made extra effort to make sure I do if the girl who has my costume on hold(bitch, decide!) decides not to take it.

3. 5 stars. I personally like the Great Mall and Stoneridge locations. For some reason this location doesnt carry everything other stores carry. The staff here is hella chill and cool. I love how they have old school cartoons or charaters. Especially Invader Zim you cant find it anywhere else but here. Minus one star since everything is sooo overpriced.

OK, not to sound snobby(well, fine — I am snobby!) but this is not a store I would normally frequent. I’m old, you know. But I was on a quest for anything Domo for a friend’s birthday present, and I was desperate. I erroneously assumed the employees here would be way too cool to help me, but was pleasantly surprised by the customer service shown to me by a lovely lady in a sexy nurse outfit.(It was the day before Halloween.) With her assistance, I found a Domo shirt. So, good for you, Hot Topic! Still can’t see myself shopping here again anytime soon, but thanks for helping me out.

Whoa, another first? Cool! Anyways, this is probably not the most reliable rating, but after a three day search for a single shirt, I feel that this place is worthy of 5 stars from me. Long story short, or maybe a short story even shorter, I’ve been on a quest to find a certain black Domo-Kun tee, and I finally got it today. Basically, Hot Topic Rocks in SF, and Hot Topic in Eastridge didn’t have the shirt in my size, and the New Park store not only had my size, but many in my size! Yay for me! Domo!
