History

Established in 1996.

Founded by owner Linnet Lowe in 1996, Linnet’s Flowers on the Square originated in Coshocton Ohio. After working for a local greenhouse and floral shop for 20 years, Linnet decided to open her own flower shop. In the spring of 1996 Linnet’s Flowers on the Square opened it’s doors for business. After having much success, the decision was made to open a second location in Newark Ohio. Hoping to expand into a larger market Linnet’s Flowers on the Square, Ltd. opened for business in the spring of 2012. Linnet’s Flowers Newark store is located on the beautiful downtown square, next to the Midland Theatre. The business is family owned and operated.
