the owner is disrespectful and doesn’t deserve a dime of your hard earned money!

This place horrible, Peter have a very nasty and rude attitude, he’s very disrespectful, he even talk to his own kids like they worthless he was yelling at his son calling him stupid because he asked a question about his homework. This man do not need to own a business, Tony was one of the best tech there and he’s no longer there because he couldn’t deal with Peter. Peter Customer service is horrible horrible horrible, he don’t know how to do designs, and he always trying to tell you how your nails should be instead of him listening to the customers about how they would like their nails, he do what he want and if he don’t like what you are saying he tells you to go somewhere else, that’s not the way you treat paying customers. So sad I will never go here again, Tony was the best and now he’s gone, I’m so disappointed and disgusted with this place.

I don’t use this word often but. ghetto. Yes, ghetto is how I describe this salon which I keep returning to out of convenience. Today, the woman «Kandy»… hold your disgust…, decided she wanted to dismiss every decision I made for my gel mani. Please add extensions.. No, they break after 2 weeks more money. Okay, then cut them because they are uneven… No, your nails long enough. From color choices to which finger will carry an accent… she and I went back and forth.
Very unprofessional. My expectations were low anyhow. My cousin said «So, you were paying to have your nails done the way she wanted ?» I guess that’s what Kandy thought.

It’s changes since it has opened, I went there recently and it was filthy. The lady was quick and too rough on my feet. She did not take direction well. The owner waxed my eyebrows and I asked for them to be thick, he made them very thin, I’m still growing them out. Their children were in the shop throwing toys and running around. Overall will not return here, looks like they live in the shop not just work there.

1^st time getting a manicure there — was turned off by first the very strong chemical odor. They definitely need some type of ventilation system there. While I didn’t have a wait the setup of the shop is very unpleasant. It looks like they’re cramming as many tables as possible. The salon & staff doesn’t appear to be following any type of sanitation methods. While doing my manicure — the person didn’t spray any type of disinfectant on either the tools or my hands. They have what appears to be a UV type of sanitation but the light wasn’t even on — the tools are kept in a plastic box inside the tray and I saw them just dump them in there after each use — no washing of tools. Half the staff was eating at the tables and I didn’t see any type of cleaning up after each client. Do not have plans to visit this place again.

Honestly, I can’t stand peter, the idiot owner’s stupid remarks. A few days ago I came in looking for tony and he kept insisting me for him to do my nails when I don’t even like him. He’s ugly, dirty looking, disrespectful jerk. I don’t know how he can even run this business. Tommy the old owner was amazing and now the shop just looks dirty, messy and unorganized. It’s ghetto and ratchet. TONY IS THE MAN TO GO TO. Peter will duck your nails and eye brows up * WARNING *

I come here for my nails once in awhile they usually do them pretty good and cheap. I ONLY GO TO KATHY because the last time I went to someone else she cut me like 3 times. Also, they do not take appointments so sometimes you will be waiting for hours. :-(especially for Kathy because everyone wants to go to her. I recommend going during the week and early.

BEWARE NEW MANAGEMENT!!! This is NOT the same service I received for years. Calling the owner HORRIBLE is an understatement. From saying Im next to be skipped and wait an hour, insulting me about my nails, leaving me in the chair to go outside on a 10 minute phone call, BEING EXTREMELY ROUGH WITH MY NAILS BECAUSE OF HIS BAD MOOD FROM PHONE CALL, This place is ghetto, not professional I highly recommend to go on Broad/​Market downtown. Kathy was nice but not worth the aggravation of the owner total douche bag!

Got a pretty good mani/​pedi at Nails 21. Close to home and they have parking. Only wish they accepted credit cards.
