NCCL School is a small, private K-8 school nestled in a neighborhood near the Univeristy of Delaware. We provide a rich academic foundation, while fostering confident thinkers and igniting the passion for learning that is within each child.
History
Established in 1971.
NCCL School was started by Ann Brown and several other very dedicated parents. The goal was to create a school of independent learning activities that would preserve the eagerness and excitement of the preschool years while helping children acquire skills to become productive citizens in their adult years. From the beginning, NCCL has been an organization of committed parents, teachers and students who all work together to create active, inquisitive, lifelong learners. While things have changed some over the years, one thing has remained the same: NCCL is still dedicated to children — — helping them find their passion and reach their potential in life.
