The Newark YMCA has been my gym for many years. I have notice that maintenance and staff is almost non-​existence. The past two years the place has decline quite a bit. I still love the member that I have known for years, but now you cannot find anyone working in the exercise rooms or repairing the equipment. It appears that there has been cut staff and maintenance and it is showing.
I hope that they resolve this issue, this a valuable asset to the community and I want to continue to support it efforts. The power that be must decide to make the improvements needed or have member like myself find other gyms (some that are even less expensive) to visit.
