Horatio Joines is a lifelong resident of Newark, NJ who started Payless Mattress, Inc. in order to re-establish buying power for residents in urban areas.
Payless Mattress, Inc. is targeted toward working class families who are interested in purchasing high quality furniture at reasonable prices. Horatio Joines is not only proud of the quality and success of Payless Mattress, Inc. but is also excited about the relationship that has been built with the local community.
Horatio Joines employs only local residents in the store and links with grassroots organizers in the community to provide charitable assistance for causes that empower the community.
