I went to Pete to see if he could weld some tabs to an aluminum mountain bike frame, so I could add an electric bike rack to the frame. He recommended against it because he thought it would actually weaken the frame. He found me 2 aircraft quality clamps that functioned exactly the way I envisioned, and gave them to me for FREE! Pete saved me from destroying my frame, and found me an even better solution. BTW: His machine shop looked immaculate. 5 Stars!

Pete was very dependable, knowledgable. He got me out of jam I was in when my hitch on my food cart broke. He fixed it that night and even made it better than before. I highly recommend his services, you can’t go wrong

My iron fence gate was broken and it needed a welding job. It was small job, I was looking around for shops in east bay. Most of them were commercial welding shops — they were either not interested or the price was too high. Then found Pete’s shop, he understood the repair work over the phone, provided a realistic quote. I headed to his shop, got the gate fixed and was on my way back home in less than 1 hour. Great service.

Pete created a custom roof rack for my canoe/​SUP and it rocks! He’s a very pleasant person to work with and can come up with great ways to customize your project. As a side note, his shoe is really clean as the other reviewer stated.

pete is another one of those small business owners that has been in the area for decades. why? because he is the best at what he does. he operates a small yet fully equipped machine shop in newark california. pete has helped me work on dozens of custom projects over the last ten years. from machining and fabrication to welding and tube bending, pete is the man. his shop is so clean that you can literally walk around with your shoes off and your white socks wont get dirty !
