This was not the best experience mimi is money hungry not nice at all. She does not care about her costumer at all. AFTER washing my after getting my hair done by her i realize that the color was way to light and the highlight she put were not consist and they didnt blend well. The hair color was way to orange and way too blonde. I called her to get my money back i did not want mimi to touch my hair again she will just mess it up again. She had poor way to talk to a costumer she yelled at me as well as threaten me to call the cops on me all i wanted was my money back becouse i am very happy how my hair turn out. Dont not go to this salon poor service.

I love the way Mimi cuts and colors my hair!!! Her hair cuts are very reasonably priced.

I have been going to Mimi for years for routine touch ups, hair cuts /​styling and Keratin treatments. She has done a great job every time. She is very personable and takes time to understand my needs and makes me comfortable during each visit. I learned a lot from her over the years about how to take care of my hair on daily basis. I would highly recommend Mimi.

I discovered this salon about 3 months ago and I met MiMi. she is so friendly and knowledgeable about extensions and does an amazing job! I love her work and her work and I have been very pleased with it. I would recommend her for hair cuts hair styling and coloring, extensions, she even does facials! She has a great personality and her work is amazing!

I have been getting haircuts from Mimi for a while now. I must say that I love her work. She always leaves me super satisfied with the way my hair looks. She is very professional and courteous. You can’t go wrong choosing Mimi as your stylist. I have seen her do make up and facials and I must say she as good at those as she is in cutting and styling hair.

So I have long thick curly hair and I hate when I go to a place and women Start thinning my hair out. It grows out horribly. Mimi is the one I trust with my haircuts and I’m picky as hell… She fixed my horrible haircut from another place and kept my length.

Sept 2014!!! She has changed her location from Creations salon to Revive .
She is my favorite and every time I go to her for hair color. Root touch up, hair cut, she does it perfect because she will never Rush till her client is satisfied .
She listens to your concerns and respectfully suggests you her opinion.
She attends seminars on hair products and keep herself well informed about best products available .and believe in continue education as so many new products are being introduced .
She will show you all the products she is going to use for you and answers every question.
From last 12 years, she is taking care of my hair needs .
I will highly recommend her.

I’ve never had a hairstylist show so much enthusiasm for helping me. She had plans tonight but decided to make me feel beautiful instead. that goes a long way. will definitely be back and reccomend my friends and family to her. And Mimi don’t worry I’ll definitely be giving you some gifts soon!!! she deserves 100 stars!

I came here on a grouon. Had to pay an additional $ 85 because my hair was longer and she recommended toner after the partial highlight. She said the group is just for short to medium length hair… okay, whatever.

1) charged me more in addition to groupon after I was already seated and ready.
2) While she was pulling back my hair, she POKED THE CORNER OF MY EYE WITH HER GLOVE THAT HAD THE HAIR COLOR/​HIGHLIGHTING CHEMICALS ON IT! Granted it was an accident, I spent the whole visit running water over my eye and putting eyedrops. UNPLEASANT.
3) I left the place looking like my hair ALREADY GREW OUT about 1-​something inches. Usually you have to wait maybe 4 – 6 before a touch up. In this case, It’s been about three weeks and it looks like it’s already been 6!!!
Save your money. She was nice, but bottom line is… how much you have to pay out of pocket and the results.

I have just one word for Mimi. AMAZING! She is a great stylist and she has a knack that a lot of established stylists don’t. She listens! And then she makes recommendations which satisfy her as an artist and you as a customer. A win — win :-)
I have recommended her to my friends and all of them came back happy and satisfied.

Went in for a root touch-​up. It turns out great! I know it’s difficult to match the color perfectly especially I dyed my hair at another place. Mimi did a good job on that! I’ll definitely go back again :)

Mimi is a wizard. She did a fantastic job with my extentions. She used natural human hair and then cut and styled it to blend perfectly. It looks so natural! I am so happy with the results. Also any haircut or coloring at her salon is great. On top of it all, she is so nice, it is always a pleasure to go there.

I am one of those weird persons that actually likes to get my hair cut by different stylists. That said, I am making a repeat appointment with Mimi since she cut my thick longish wavy hair so well and for a reasonable price. Being on a budget doesn’t mean my looks have to suffer — yay! I felt relaxed and comfortable enough in her salon to doze off like a cat in the sun while she was diligently trimming and trimming my layers, wchih can take some time. Plus she let me make a same day appointment! It still looks good, several months later, but as family pictures are soon to be taken, I am returning!

Mimi is amazing! I’ve been jumping around from different salons because I couldn’t find anyone to cut my hair right. I’ve had her cut my hair three times and every time has been perfect. I ask her to trim about an inch and half and she never cuts more then I ask. She manages to keep my hair looking long and heathy. I recommended my sister to see her and she loved her too! :)

You can spot talent from a distance when someones got a great hair cut. I hardly ever trust strangers with my hair but I instantly took the recommendation from someone out on the street based on the great job Mimi, the owner and currently the only stylist at Revive, had done. I have long thick hair and Mimi did an amazing job. It was a «wow» kind of result. I’ve gone to her twice now and she’s even cut my daughters hair. Mimi has a trendy salon and is using the most up to date business technology. I was very impressed and I recommend her all the time to friends and family.

The ONLY reason why i considered going to this salon was because i saw a Groupon deal for $ 17 for a haircut, blow dry and style which is as you all know is ridiculously cheap! So i said why not, right?
I was so excited about this «awesome» deal that i called right away to book an appointment.
A lady named Mimi answered the phone and i asked her if she had any openings for either a Wednesday or Thursday any week in March. She said «Oh, i don’t because I’m actually under staffed right now and in the process of hiring new people.» «And we are closed on Thursdays and we open late on certain days and so on and so forth.»
My Groupon expires March 28, 2012 and i REALLY wanted to use it.
But every time i call, no one picks up!!!
I thought to myself, «OMG, so why are you in business and why did you open a salon if #1 You have no staff, #2 Irregular, weird, inconsistent business hours, #3 You expect the customer to adjust to your schedule??? Are you doing this part time? I’m sorry to tell you but this kind of business plan will never work dear.
Wait, it gets worse… so i decided to call again before my Groupon expires and see if i can either extend it to April or just get a store credit.
Mimi (the owner) answered the call (i’m sure she’s the ONLY one who works there) and i had to refresh her memory about the situation and she just abruptly said, «Oh, you can call Groupon and ask for a refund.»
I asked her if that’s even possible and she confidently said «Yes, i’m sure».
So i called Groupon and told them about the situation and they said they would need to call the merchant and confirm.
2 days later i got a call from Mimi saying that Groupon does NOT give refunds therefore she can’t do anything.
People, i know it’s only freaking $ 17 but it’s NOT the money, it’s the integrity, the moral principle and unacceptable business ethics.
People who conduct a shady business like this should NEVER be supported.
There’s already too much SCAM going on. The last thing you need is for a local, neighborhood salon to scam you.

I’m not coming back. I got a Groupn for hair cut and touch up.
I came here hoping to find, «the one» I still have not found him or her. Mimi was a sweetheart. Although she may be a nice lady, I still want an awesome hair cut. The cut was symmetrical I just didn’t have the WOW factor. I’m upset she didn’t style it, too. I never had that before?!
She did well with matching my hair color but I felt like she didn’t apply enough to my hair.
Making an appt was easy. The place is just this big open salon. I really didn’t feel comfortable getting my hair done there.
May only come for a trim but that’s it…

I guess I must be picky with my hair? I still have yet to find a salon that I would go to regularly. so every 3 months I bounce around from salon to salon.
I came to revive back in January because there was a groupon special. I had a little trouble finding the place but it is directly across the mall in a building that looks like it could be businesses. My appointment was for 2:00 on a saturday afternoon so I worked out first before making my way there. I arrived at 1:50 and the place looked dark… I found the door and it said they weren’t open till 2. That’s fine I was early. 2 rolls around and I start to think I may have found the wrong place. afterall there was just a banner nothing molded to the wall. I call the number that I had called for reservations and got the answering machine so I left a message. Mimi calls me back to tell me she’s running late.
It’s a nice little quaint place. There is one shampoo station, one dryer chair and one cutting chair. During my haircut we made chitchat and I asked if it was just a slow saturday and she said she staggers her appointments because it’s just her. One woman business all the power to her. She told me how most of her clients migrated with her from her previous jobs and she just no longer enjoyed working for big companies and only returned to cutting hair because her clients missed her.
So for my haircut the main thing I wanted was a trim and then some slight layers cut in. Mimi was thoughtful and my hair was actually longer than I expected when I left. The length was still there but all the hair I saw on the floor was from the layers. Some of the layers are fine but the shortest ones are quite short… Maybe next time I just have to be more detailed with the exact style I want. Mimi is very friendly but the prices without the groupon are quite steep.
The price with the groupon is fine. If i have another groupon or coupon I may consider returning.
Although I had people tell me my hair looks like it’s «really choppy»… I’m not quite sure what to make of that.
