Business Owner

Sarah Walker, BS, CPDT-​KA has owned and operated Side by Side Dog Training since 2006. With over 15 years of experience training dogs with various methods, Sarah has been able to develop techniques that are easy, effective, and dog-​friendly. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology for Pre-​Veterinary medicine from Cedarville University in 2002. She has also practiced as a Veterinary Technician in diverse veterinary clinics from equine to exotic to small animals for 10 years. Her veterinary background gives her added depth in diagnosing and solving behavior problems in dogs. She is a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and Certified Pet Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-​KA). She always keeps up to date on the latest dog training trends and techniques by regularly attending seminars, conferences, and reading any dog training book she can get her hands on!
